Krylle's Pov

"Mom" I whine while looking at the eyes of an innocent angel."Can I put some makeup on her?" Those long eyelashes and cute cheeks that I would love to put some blush to make her more adorable.

My mother sighs and frowns"No can do and he is not a she. Darling that's your little brother. How many times do I have to tell you that?" She puts her hand on her hip and looks at my 6-yr old frame standing on the doorstep of my parents' room.

I grumbled and walks closer to the crib of my one-year-old little brother near the bed of my parents. "Hey, can you change into a girl?" I poke his cheeks and he laughs adorably. I was suddenly carried by my mother and puts me into their bed."He won't change into girl honey. You will be the only princess we will have" My mother said then tickles me.

I squealed" Mom no! S-Stop" I laugh like a hyena. She stopped  and kiss me on the forehead "I think my princess needs her beauty sleep"

I suddenly yawned and smiles softly. "Goodnight mommy. Wait, Where is daddy's mom?"

She suddenly froze and smiles like a silly statue "He is working baby remember?"

I nod and she hums until sleepiness takes over.

I woke up with the sound of something falls on the floor. I sleepily went to the kitchen and heard some yelling.

"Oh shut up Jenny. I just drink a small amount of beer" The voice of my father. I'm a daddy's girl so I always miss him every time he has work.

"Small?! Oh no, you don't! You're drunk John!" I heard my mom yell.

"Mom? Dad is already here?" I walk towards them while rubbing my eyes sleepily. I saw a plate on the floor shattered into tiny pieces. Oh no, they are being clumsy again.

"Yes, honey he is here. He will just take a shower and sleep right, John?" My mom smiles and looks at my father. I see my mom taking a broom to clean the mess.

He nods and crouched beside me."I will sleep beside you princess okay?" He ruffles my hair and I squealed tiredly. " I will wait for you daddy" I excitedly run towards my parents' room.

I lay on the bed and patiently waits for my parents to lay beside me. I close my eyes because of the sleepiness.

I suddenly felt movement in the bed. " Mom? Dad?"I mumble sleepily. " Shh baby sleep already" I heard my mom said " Goodnight our princess" My father whispers to me and kisses my forehead. I smile and I let sleep takes over me.

Krylle's Pov

"Come on Kryl! Let me write your notes"A guy from my class said.

Well my hands won't get hurt from writing those things

I smile and nod "Sure if that's what you want. My hands are already tired" The boy blushed when our hands touched when I gave him my ballpen.

I giggled when I saw his reaction. "Hey, girl you finish writing your notes? " Aubrey asked. I smiled and nodded" Let's play Jackstone" He started to write my notes while I play with my friends.

My teacher starts to check the notes of my classmates so I took my notes at him"Thanks" I turn around and nervously give it to my teacher. I wish she won't notice the handwriting

My wish came true because she just writes a check and put a star in my hand.

My father will like this I thought while looking at the star in my hand.

The guy who writes my notes suddenly run towards me and smiles"I finish writing your notes so fast because I'm flash" He boasted while I smile and mouthed 'thank you'.

I ran towards outside of our room since my mom is waiting outside."Mommy look I have a star" I showed her the star in my hands. She smiles and holds my hand"You're so great, baby. Come on let's go home I will cook your favorite curry because you have a star" I squealed and hugs my mom in the waist."Yey! I will have the wings right?" She nods and I pull her hand while running towards the gate"Curry!"

I watch the kids in our street happily playing with some games again I never played. I always look in our window and wonder why my mom won't let me play with them."Hey, mom" I muttered and looks at my mom's eyes with wonder "Yes honey?" She combs my hair using her hands and starts to make a braid. There is a comfortable silence between us.

"Why can't I play with these kids?" I said while admiring their squeal and laughter because they're having fun. "Krylle, You know we already talk about this right?" My mom sighed while slowly closing the window. I stammer"B-But mom" She stands up and walks out the door but before she closed the door she said"No more buts missy! You will understand soon why I am doing this" She slams my door while leaving me in distress and curls up on the sofa crying.

I just want to be like them playing. I cried harder until my eyelids start to be heavy and slowly falls asleep with tear-stained cheeks.

I woke up in a bang and saw my father holding the notebook where I let the boy  wrote my notes."Daddy!" I ran towards him but what he did next shocked me. He pushes me to my bed and starts unbuckling his belt.

"You ungrateful child! Who told you to have a mini secretary huh?" He whips his belt in my thigh so hard that I could feel numbness in my thigh. I cried so hard while not moving and my dad still punishes me so hard until I said"I wrote that dad" He has this look that he could be hulk anytime. He stops the belting and goes out of my room and I felt relieved.

My dad believes me, right?

Dad came back with jalapeno in his hand and then he holds my face then put the jalapeno in my mouth. "That's what you get from lying!" He pushes me and I hit my head in the wall. He stands and closes the door and then I heard the clicking sound.

I sob loudly while opening my mouth because there was like a fire inside my mouth and my head hurts from the bump.

Black dots start to appear in my sight and I just heard the clicking sound before I fell unconscious.
