The Multi-Awakening
Introduction
In this world, the majority of the population are awakeners, those who have special abilities. The theory of awakening is still unknown and scientists are researching day and to find the answer.
But it was clear that awekning was only meant for a selected few before the age of 15 and one could awaken a single ability, the awakening of dual ability was unheard of.
Those who awakened their ability have a higher say in the present society than non-awakened people or simply the normal people.
Also, there is the existence of Monsters, devour the awakeners in order to become strong. These monsters are said to be created by the first evil Awakener, who wanted to cause havoc in the society, but failed because of the suppression of a 1000 SSS Rank awakeners back then.
At least this, was what the books used to say
It was also said that the first evil awakener was the only person in the history to have awakened multiple strong and varied abilities and he was stronger than any other Awakener.
Eventhough, he was suppressed and killed in the end by the SSS Rank heroes, but he also took the life of 989 of those awakeners in the process.
This story is going to be about me, Jason Maebara. An Awakener but still the weakest of the weakest with an E-grade attack type ability, power cut. Also I could only power cut with a particular sword which has been around me since birth.
A Happy Life in Border City
It was 8:20 am in the morning when I heard the alarm.
I was already late for school.
Jason
Crap!! Yuni why didn't you wake me up *Screaming
Yumi came to my room while wearing her school uniform
Yuni
Brother, I already tried to wake you wake early in the morning at 7, but you were in deep sleep to hear me. So, not my problem.

Yuni left quickly after saying it, because she knew that I will not let her go that easily after hearing what she had said.
I too prepared myself as fast as bullet train and ate my breakfast while wearing my school uniform.
Then I headed out for school at 8:30 after getting myself ready.
My name is Jason Maebara and I am 14 years old living at the border city Taizen.
I live in a small house with my little sister. My parents left me and my sister in the childhood and now we both look after each other to survive.
Also to say, I am an Awakener, though I have awakened the weakest ability, an E-grade attack type ability, power cut.
The usage of power cut was only limited to my hands and my particular sword which has been with me since childhood.

Crap!! I made it in time, ha! ha! *panting
Now I entered the school premises.

Riyu is my close friend in the school, she is a nervous type of girl with her hair messed up all around and wearing a pair of circular glasses and half of her face was always covered with hair.
To say I have a crush on her, but I am not able to muster up the courage to speak it out to her.

I mustered up the courage to have an outing with her.

I am too excited and so woke up pretty early than usual

Yuni was standing beside me in her school uniform and was waiting for my response

Oh my dear sister! This brother of your has already found himself with a gf and today is the day when she shall give her decision on my answer to the confession that I had given her yesterday.

Then I took the initiative

As me and Riyu started to see for the source of the noise, we saw something horrible from the roof top
The entire city was in chaos and the building were falling apart

The entire city is in chaos!! What caused this?
Then we heard the roar of a huge monster from the left direction
Then I remembered about Yuni
Jason
Oh no!!!! My sister's school is in that direction
I jumped from the roof in order to reach down and go to my sister

Jason... pls don't leave it's dangerous that way!!!!
Even though Riyu was screaming for me I ignored her and rushed forward.
Then came the announcement speakers of the city as I was rushing for my sister's school

Attention! People of the Taizen city pls calm down and follow the safety protocols! This is a monster wave and you are requested to head for the north western region of the city! Aid will be provided at the north western side and pls beware of the monsters! This is a Heaven Class danger.
Regardless of the announcement I rushed to the opposite direction.
There were monsters roaming all around
Now I reached Yumi's School and Yumi was near the school gate with other students and teachers and there were attacked by a monster
The teachers were fending off the monster
But the monsters rushed and killed the teachers and then as it reached out it's hands it held Yumi
