Inside the Phoenix Group Company, employes whispering ' Isn't it the portrait of former CEO. I heard that he was the youngest CEO in our country C and he was so handsome that many girls fell for him even the Boya Group Company's inheritor fell for him. He hold his position at the age of sixteen after his grandfather demise.' Another employee whispering ' Yeah, I also heard that he is not only a CEO but also a gang leader. The biggest gangleader of our country. What was the name.......... Ah I remembered, it was something like Black... Black Dragon. Yeah, Black Dragon and it was very powerful gang. Even the police couldn't do anything because they couldn't find the evidence.' Third employee whispered ' I also heard that he was shot dead by the police. It is forbidden here to speak but it's true. He was shot in the road and also heard that he died a miserable death. Everyone together ' What a pity, he died so early in his age. He was too young to die.' The old employe passes from there and heard them whispering ' What are you all whisperig. Don't you know the rules. 'I'm sparing you all cause you all are new but there is no next time. Remember clearly no next time' said the old employe. Then they left from their and started to work.

After a while CEO arrives, everyone gathers their to welcome like regular. CEO, comes out from her car. Everyone bowing their head greets Good Morning CEO.

" Good Morning" CEO Mei Ling (calling name Xiaomei) greets back and then she entered the company. Like regular she goes to her office and starts her work. " Sis in law, I've already prepared for everthing. The day after tomorrow he is coming. He has completed his studies and also his training. I think he will be like brother" said Huan Jun ( sworn brother of former CEO and also the vice president of company and the present leader of Black Dragon ). With a soft smile Xiaomei replied " Yeah, he has already grown up. But.... " " But what Sis in law" asked Huan Jun " Nothing, Let's celebrate. He is coming home after ten years. It was hard for him to stay away from me but he never refused either." said Xiaomei. Huan Jun sighs and smiles and says " Yeah, but if brother was here, he would be the happiest person but......... " . Standing up from the chair Xiaomei said " Yeah, if he was here, everything would be different. (with a sad face) But fate is to cruel. Fate never let us have our way." Knock on the door " Come in" says Xiaomei. One of the employe enters " Maam, this file needs your signature. It is for tomorrow meeting". She signs the file. Then the employee says to vice president that Mr. Tang ( One of the share holder of phoenix company ) is looking for him. Both of them employe and vice president goes out of the CEOs office. Xiaomei looking outside the window " It's been 20 years. How are you? Do you miss me? " her eyes becomes teary. Speaking inside her heart ' I........ Miss you' (tears fall down her eyes).

"No, no I'm begging you. Let him go. Please, don't shoot him please. I'm begging you (crying and shouting deeply). No, no, no, nooooo I'm begging you please tell them to stop please ( police shouting on the other side "shoot him. He's a criminal. Shoot now or else he will kill us. Shoot now ) no please, please. Kill me but not him please (crying and begging)" suddenly Xiaomei wakes up sweating. Taking a deep breath " It's just a nightmare. But it felt real like it happened yesterday". Xiaomei gets down from her bed and looks at the watch. It was five past, then she walks towards the window and looks outside. Taking tears in her eyes " It's been 20 years. I still can't get over it. I don't know what to do. This pain doesn't let me live. Tell me what should I do".

Xiaomei goes to office like regular, attendes the meeting and look after the work of manger and and others. Knock on the door of CEO office "Come in" said Xiaomei. The vice president enters "Sis in law, there's a meeting today and you've to be there". "Why? Didn't we discussed about this already" said Xiaomei. "We did but those shareholders still want to make sure. ( Thinking for a moment) Sis in law, why don't we tell them about him. He's the future heir of the Phoenix Group Company and also.....". Suddenly standing from the chair Xiaomei said "I've already lost him, now I don't wanna lose ............. He can be the heir of the company but not that...... Alright, we will announce the next heir of company in today's meeting. I hope there won't be a problem after that." Vice president nodded his head agreeing on her term. After some hour meeting gets started and the discussion of share holder. Xiaomei clears their doubt about the heir and the company. She also announced that next heir will soon take her place and manage the company. Every shareholders were surprised hearing her words. Suddenly Mr. Tang asked " Are you sure there will be next heir. Our former CEO didn't had any descendant. How is it possible? " With a smile Xiaomei replied " You're right Mr. Tang. Rest assured our company won't have any bad effect. When the heir will come I will introduce you all." After saying this all she left the meeting. Every one was in confusion that who is the next heir. They were eagerly waiting for company's new heir. " Sis in law, what are we gonna explain in next meeting. They all want a new heir. They think there won't be a new heir after you. Are we not gonna tell them the truth" asked Huan Jun. Xiaomei was quite about the meeting. She was worried but not about the meeting nor the heir but something else. Her worrying was right too. She had already gone through so much pain. The pain has taught her many things and she has been broken before too so this time she only want a peaceful life and nothing more than that.

After leaving the meeting room Xiaomei went into a deep thought. She was walking along and stood up in front of the portrait of former CEO. She was looking at the portrait with a deep feelings. Her eyes became teary and the rolled down her cheeks. Touching the portrait of former CEO " It's been 20 years. I really miss you. I'm alone and empty. Every day, every moment I think about you but..... but I can't bring you back. He is coming back tomorrow. I know you're watching over him and you're happy too maybe more than me. If you were here we would..........."

20 YEARS AGO

My name is Mei Ling or you can call me Xiaomei. I'm 16 yrs old and I'm an intern in Phoenix Group Company. I wanted to earn a lot of money so I can live a comfortable life. But I want a sweet turn in my life. I just wish someone appear in my life and make my life beautiful. But I know all this things won't happen. I just have to move on with a strong will so that I can fulfill my dream. But in this modern world it's hard to walk forward. Everywhere is our competitor for work, not only work but in everything. And we middle class are stuck between poor and rich people. I don't know what future brings but what I have in the present I will appreciate it before I regret it. So, cheer up. We have long journey ( with a smile). And one more thing if you ever get some one who loves you wholeheartedly then don't let that person go cause it's hard to find nowadays who loves you dearly. Life also takes turn all the time. Don't know when ups and downs comes in life and makes us weak and strong. We have to prepare ourselves for all kind of situation so when life hits hard, we won't fall down. I also don't wanna fall down. Cause I'm afraid of pain. Everyone has left, even my aren't with me. I'm all alone so if anyone who enters my life leaves me I swear I can't take it. It really hurts so I don't wanna get hurt anymore. I know it sounds ridiculous but it's true. If any of your close person has left you then you know how the hell it hurts. It feels like you've lost everything and your life has stopped at one point where you cannot go back nor you can go ahead. You'll stuck in one place. And that feeling hurts like hell and maybe more than that. I know this pain cause I've felt it. I lost my parents who loved me the most and also the person person who was closet to my heart after my parents. That person was my boyfriend whom I loved the most after my parents death. But he cheated on me. He had another girl but still he made me his girlfriend. If I hadn't caught him through my friends, I would never knew that he was cheating on me. I broke up with him and he was not guilty either. He was the second person I loved the most but it's such a pity that we no are together. But it doesn't matter if he can live without me then I can too. Now, I don't wanna regret for my past mistakes but I'm sure I won't make that mistake in the future.
