“This may be hard to believe and I don’t know exactly how to say it but... you lost your memory twice,” Jean claimed.

“Why would I believe you?” I asked.

“Cause I was the first person you ever liked...” Jean seemed sad.

“I... really don’t know if I should believe you, cause I barely know you and stuff. And if this is a joke, it ain’t funny,” I said firmly.

“It’s really not,” Jean said.

I turned to leave. I really thought he was lying.

“You hide it, but you’re a loner. You think no one notices you and that you’re normal but people do think you’re special,” Jean smiled as his eyes filled with tears.

“...” I sighed. “Fine, I’ll give u a chance to explain.”

“Thank you!!”

“So, let me get this straight, I lost my memory whe I was nine, I lost all my happy memories again when I was 12 and no one told me about it?” I asked.
