As the tear fell on her cheeks, Emma thought why her life is so miserable and why there is so much troubles in her life.

Emma is 20 years old and is an university student who is studying engineering. She was a top student in school and everyone were envious of her. She was introverted and didn't talk much. She likes to read books and play games. She got good marks in 12th grade and got admitted to a well renowned university. Emma was very excited to join university because she had always wanted to go to that university. She gathered with her friends in celebration of her getting admitted to the university. She was the only one among her friends to get into that university.

As the admission day came nearer, Emma was very nervous as well as excited. She started to prepare her things which she needed while her stay in university. Finally, the day came and her parents and to drop her at the university. She did her registration and came to her room. Her roommate had already arrived and then her parents left. Emma chatted with her roommate whose name was Anna and they were taking the same course.

Emma went to bed early as she didn't want to be late for the first class.

In the morning, Emma woke up early and prepared for the class. She was really eager for the class to start. In the class, Emma talked with some of her classmates and then the teacher came. She had good time in the class and glad that she took the right course.

Days passed by and Emma had a regular routine i.e., going to the class and studying in the room. As she walked by the hall she saw notice that there will be welcome party for the first years and that everyone must be present, by the student leader. There were hustles every where due to the party notice and Emma was quite curious of it.

On the day of the party, every girls were dressing up and make up while Emma was reading a book. Emma never went to a party in her 20 years of life and she wanted to experience the fun of party. So Emma also dressed up with Anna and went to the party.

When they were coming near to that hall, the music sound got louder and this made them feel the party vibe. They were welcomed by a loud cheers as there were lots of senior present. They were served with cake and juice and as she walked to the seat, Emma saw checked shirt boy staring at her. He was really handsome and dresses neatly. Her friend Anna, 'That senior is said to be really popular for his good looks but he is cold to girls. He does not date anyone, only hang a out with his friends.' Emma was confused why does he not date because his looks makes every girls heart flutter.

He was still staring at Emma and she was starting to get nervous. Emma asked Anna, 'Why is he staring at me? Is something wrong with me?' Anna answered, ' You are looking good. I think he is interested with you.' Suddenly, the boy was walking towards Emma and everyone was surprised. The boy asked Emma to be his date for the night and she was stunned for a while. Then Anna shook me which brought me back to sense and I quickly answered yes.
