Beginning
This is my first series ever .. I Hope you enjoy
summary: Single mother of two , flora age 16 and bj age 6 struggles to afford food and having roofs over their heads, and works three jobs and doesn't come home all day, flora suffers from extreme social anxiety so she is homeschooled and taking care of her little brother but at the end their lives change by one being.
It's is Saturday morning and flora starts to wake up to the morning sound of bird chirping and the smell of her favorite breakfast, bacon and eggs

(Ahh.. what a beautiful day it is today... oh moms up making breakfast)
Flora
*Flora gets up , heads to her bathroom brushing her teeth and hair then starts to change into some clean clothes *

Ahh wha.. what happened (startled by his screaming)

Mom says it time eat, and get that ugly crap off your face

It's called MAKEUP dimwit maybe you heard it before... and I'll be down in a sec

Ok loser ( in a playful manner , and runs down the stairs)
( She then makes her self down stairs and sees bj already eating while mom serves flora food)
Floras mother (Jessie)
Good morning flora I made your favorite come sit and eat
She then sits down and starts to eat... while eating no one said one word till her mom speaks

soooo.. are you sure don't want to go to school this year , it's a new year and a new beginning for making friends
Hearing what she said Flora freezes up and gets startled

I.. uh .. oh... uh I really don't want to I get very anxious and besides I'm comfortable staying home and taking online courses but thanks (while putting her hand in back of her head)
Floras mother (Jessie)
Uh.. Ok that's fine just thought you would maybe try it... how about you bj

Ugh mom I told you maybe times kids don't like hanging out with me and I get bully alot besides I agree with flora
Flora sigh in relieve thinking she wasn't the only one struggling
it soon came 7:30 and Floras mother was heading to work for the whole day

Bye love you both.. Oh and remember flora , I need you to go to the store .. the supply list is on the refrigerator
Flora didn't want to because of her anxiety but had no choice because her mom would work all day everyday

She go out into her car and drove away, leaving flora taking care of bj

yeah... nothing really new it been like this since forever

Opening up
Couple hours pass while flora and bj been playing video games . Flora looks at the time and it's 11:46 and thought it was time to buy groceries that mom had her buy

Both having anxiety made it hard to go out places so when times like this happen they cover themselves up with hoodies and pants

Hey.... I don't like this as much as you do but we have to... besides we got each other and we got jackets so other people don't see us face to face.. ok?

Flora had enough so she walked over and unplugged the tv making Bj angry

Flora then gets the shopping list and both head out of the apartment

(why do we have to live on the 24th floor of the apartment we have to be stuck with others in the elevator . )
After some time and walking they eventually made it to the store

While waiting for bj to come back with the food cart flora decides to walk around a bit but bumps into someone...

After Lucas can finish what he was going to say he looks down and sees a girl on the floor
Flora then realizes that her hoodie was not on her head

Lucas also was wearing a hoodie but tooked it off to see closer who it was

Lucas.. then reaches his hand out to help flora get up

oh... I'm homeschooled.. I don't do much with people around

mhm... I don't like talking to others but I guess I have to regarding school

I guess your luck that your homeschooled don't have any issues talking to others and no homework it exhausting

The surprise
After flora managed to talk to someone besides her mother and brother she was excited and she started to have a bit more confidence
She then realized that she forgot about bj

After flora despritly ran through the whole store she saw bj at the cashier ready for flora to pay

After they finished they went back to the apartment and made dinner for themselves and leftovers for their mother since she doesn't get out of work till 3
They aet dinner and played video games most of the time till they heard a knock at the door
Flora Got up to see who was at the door and to her surprise it was her mom

She opened the door and let her mom inside
