"Finally! You're done!" I said to my own origami.

I'm at the school court, and I still have at least an hour before my next subject. I left the Origami I made and went to the library.

It became a hobby of mine. Making and dumping the product of the only talent I have. I just cannot bear to see the art that reminds me of both happy and painful memories.

I went to my favorite spot in the library, the last table wherein other students can cover me from the sight of the librarian.

The library is my favorite place, it's not because I like studying but because of the peacefulness the library gives. The sound of book pages flipping from time to time, the sound of the students' pen scribbling in their papers. A perfect place to make origami.

I searched my bag for some paper. What should I do this time? Maybe I'll experiment?

I began to fold the paper, then suddenly someone sat next beside me. As long as they won't bother me then it's fine.

My phone vibrates.

It's only five minutes before my next class.

I began to collect my things have my way out of the library.

"Hey!"

"Hey! Keep it down" the librarian said.

Who the hell called me. I turned around and...

"I'm sorry ma'am I didn't mean to Shout." He said. "Hey uhmm, you left this." He added. He reached out to me the unfinished origami I made.

"I'm in a hurry, please throw it away for me." I said. I mean it's true, there's no point in finishing it. Still, the trash bin will be it's final destination.

"But---" he didn't got the chance to finish what he's supposed to say. I ignored him and went to my class.

It's lunch break, the library is absolutely closed at times like this, so I went to the school's bench and tried to kill some time there by making another origami.

"Oh, you're the guy from the library!"

"What do you want? I said.

"Why are you alone? Do you have friends?"

"Why do you care? Don't you have friends?" Damn, he's pissing me off.

He glanced at my work. "You're making another origami? That's cool!"

WTF?!!

"Hey you're creeping me out!"

And he just laughed. Who the heck is this guy? Why's he with me? What does he want????

"Hey, why didn't you finished the Origami before?"

"I have no time."

"Then can you do it now?"

"I don't want to."

"Why?"

"*Sigh* because I don't want to! Why the heck are you bothering me! If you want to finish it then do it!." I said. I quickly finish the Origami so that I can move to another place.

"Wow! Is that a dog origami? How cute!"

"Tsk! How cute my *** 😒"

"Hahahaha, so you're not used to compliments huh? I'll make sure to compliment you every time."

"Just who the **** are you?" He's getting into my nerves!

"My name's Gabriel. Since you looked someone familiar to me, you can call me Riel."

"I don't want to."

"How about you? What's your name?" He said, then he smiled. A cute and genuine smile.

Okay wtf did I just thought.

Out of nowhere, someone familiar to me flashed through my mind.

"W-why do you need to know my name?"

"Uhmm, because you asked my name?" Yeah I'm such a dumbass sometimes.

I stood up and walked away.

"Hey! Wait!"

"Brent."

"What?"

"MY NAME IS BRENT, YOU IDIOT!" I shouted at him and ran away.

But why did I ran away? Is it because he reminded me of someone I knew? Or....

I can't get off his smiling image out of my mind?

It's been so long since I last dreamt about that scumbag.

"Brent!!!" ---That voice.....

It's Gabriel.

He placed his arms around my shoulder.

"Good morning." He said with a bright smile. "Are you going to finish the Origami you left last week?"

It's been a week since Gabriel started following me. And he really likes seeing me folding origami. Maybe because he's really that eager to learn how to make origami? Wtf there is internet dude.

"Why are you so obsessed with it? Why don't you make it yourself if you wanted it to get finished? And are we close? Get your hands off me!" I said as I shoved his arms away.

"Hahaha you're so cute when you're pissed! Hahaha."

I just glared at him as he continues laughing.

"Hahaha, but seriously, I don't know how to make origami, if you can teach me I will be glad." He said confidently with matching smile on his face.

I walked away.

"Hey wait!" He said while following me.

*Lunch break*

"Just what the hell do you want from me?! I can't even eat my meal properly!"

I'm at the cafeteria with this jerk.

"Hahahaha" seriously? He just laughed?

"You're so cute when you're pissed hahaahah"

"This is the second time you mentioned that!" I said and angrily ate my food.

"Because it's true. And as you said, I will say this again for the second time, I want you to teach me to make origami."

"Why do I have to do that? Do I owe you something?"

"Nope, I just want to give it to someone." He said and he smiled again to me.

I'm lying if I tell you that his smiles doesn't bother me. Every time he smiles I feel like, I can stare at his smile for my whole life.

But what I'm feeling is....

His smile is a trap. It can take you to heaven..... And hell.......

"Oh! Brent you're already here!"

The words of the devil

I faced the man who first ruined my life. My childhood friend. The thorn in my garden, the poison to my drink.

"Lewis..." I replied.

He waited for my shift to finish. I can tell he's been waiting for too long because of the number of cigarettes on the ground.

"Have you eaten? Let's go home." He said as he exhaled the cigarette smoke.

"Ah Lewis stop! L-let me take a shower first! I just came back from hah~"  he kissed me torridly like we didn't even do it before I went to work.

"I don't mind." He said then he smiled at me.

He just don't mind what I wanted to say. He always wanted  to have his way on me. And I'm this stupid idiot who let him do whatever he want.

This is my life now. Resistance won't make anything better. All I can do now is go with the flow of destiny.

I woke up. And as usual, after he do it to me. He'll be gone the next day.

Somehow, the image of his smile flashing through my mind makes me feel butterflies for some reason. It is the smile that he never give to others. It is a special smile only for me.

Come to think of it. We did it all night till I passed out.

"Ha-- I'm hungry...." I mumbled.

I looked for food in the kitchen but nothing's in there.

"That scumbag asked me if I had eaten already, but he didn't even make food for me before leaving." 

How caring! (\*In sarcastic tune\*)

"Hey are you done spacing out?"

Huh? I think I just came back to my senses. Hanging out with this guy reminds me of him.

"I'll just finish my meal then I'll get going----- what the! Where is my burger?!"

"Huh? I ate it already. I'm asking you if you want it but you didn't answer. Silence means yes though hahahaha."

"What the \*\*\*\* is wrong with you?" He's really getting into my nerves. I gathered my things and walked away.

"Hey! I'm just joking I just hid it! Here it is!"

I ran away.

Huff..... Huff... Hah... Ha.....

"Hahahaha tired already?" He said as he handed me a bottle of water.

I quickly grabbed it and went to the bench and sat. I drank the water to my heart's content.

"You really like running away....."

My eyes suddenly widened as I heard what he says. This time I felt really mad. How can he say such words even though he doesn't know me?!!

I threw the empty bottle to him.

"Who the \*\*\*\* are you to say that? You don't even know me! You just suddenly appeared to my life and decided to be my tail and now you're acting like you knew me!"

"Huh? I guess I did hit the spot."

"Tsk! Fck you."

I really don't like people intruding other people's privacy. It is being disrespectful.

Ha-- I'm so pissed right now that I wanted to cry.

but suddenly, I thought.......

"I'm sorry."

After hearing those words. I looked at him. He's facing me and Gabriel's face really shows some sincerity with those words.

suddenly I thought......maybe I'm so mad......

because he's right?

Brent's POV

"Boss I'm going home now."

"Thanks for today."

Everything is fine. My income is fine, I don't starve, I have good clothes, everything.

As I walk away from work. I can see a very familiar person waiting for me.

"Hey, done already?"  He said before taking his cigarette.

"I wouldn't be here if I'm not done."

He went close to me and grabbed my hair.

"It's been days since we last met but you know now how to talk back like that to me?"

It hurts but I chose not to say anything, nor give a look at his eyes.

We hear people talking not from afar, he let go of my hair, and grabbed my arm.

"Let's talk elsewhere." He said in a casual tune.

He took me to a playground. I got tired by getting dragged by him so I sat at the swing.

"Sorry about that...."

I looked at him. It is not the first time he said sorry. I felt like forgetting about his actions just now. Saying sorry with that smile he always give to me.

So I think it is not important if he doesn't show sincerety  to his words. Besides, I'm also at fault.

"It's fine, I shouldn't have talked back like that."

He placed his hand in my cheeks.

"Yeah, it's your fault in the first place, and it is being disrespectful talking like that to someone you owe right?"

I nodded.

Everything is fine. My income is fine, I don't starve, I have good clothes, everything.

But in reality, everything is fine because of him, my income can't pay all the bills needed to be paid. But I can survive because of him, I don't starve because he provides everything. If don't have him, I'm sure I only have old fashioned clothes.

In other words, everything I have now is because of him.

We remained silent. Actually I wanted to say sorry too. For being rude, he just wants to be friendly but I'm giving him a hard time. And a loser like me who likes to run away from problems doesn't deserve to have friends.....

If I just remained silent than saying sorry, does it also mean running away again?

No, I'm done running away. I wanted to change... I wanted to say.....

"S-sorry..." I mumbled.

"What?" His face seems to brighten up upon hearing it.

"Y-you heard it! Stop making me repeat it!"

But what's with his face? Don't tell me he....

"Hey you! If you're going to laugh at me I better get going!" I embarrassingly said.

Then he burst out.

I felt like my face is burning because of embarrassment.

Gabriel grabbed my sleeve.

"Hahahaha, don't leave, sit here again." He said as he tries his best to calm down.

I don't know why but I obey what he said.

He moved closer to me. And he whispered.

"Then if you're really sorry, then, you'll do me a favor." 

His voice! Is so..... So......

I looked at him even though I felt like my cheeks are already blushing.

Then he just smiled again! How can a man have a genuine smile and a sexy voice at the same time?!!!

"What? Your face looks like I'm gonna make you do perverted things! Hahaha Don't worry, I thought of it but I won't let you do it!"

Wha!!!!

"How dare you?!" I shouted

"Hahaha I'm just teasing you! You should've seen your face right now! Hahahah but kidding aside, I just wanted to ask something..."

Ask? Ask what?

"You....."

Me......

"When we first met, I thought you're just making an origami because you're bored. But what I had observed from the days that I started following you, the way you fold the paper, the fact that you can make anything into origami......"

What does this mean? He wouldn't thought any of this if he only wants to know how to make origami.

"But you keep on throwing out all of your works, do you hate origami? Why would you do something that you wouldn't like? But based on how your works are so flawless it seems like you're making origami for years, I'm just confused....."

Me too.....

I chuckled, now he looks more confused...

"Me too, I'm confused too...."
