MRS. HAILEY BELLIOT
“Son, sooner or later, you can get out of the hospital if you will behave, don't make the work harder for those nurses okay?”
MR. LEON BELLIOT
“You're mom is right, make sure to get enough strength for you to get out here”
WENDELL BELLIOT
“But mom! I want to go home!”

“I don't want to be alone here!”
MRS. GREEN BELLIOT
“Grandson, granda will be staying here for you, your mama and papa will visit you every day”
MRS. HAILEY BELLIOT
“Wendell, remember what mama told you? Boys is strong, so as long as you can, don't just show your weaknesses, and crying is a weakness”
MRS. GREEN BELLIOT
“My, my, Hailey, don't listen to her, it's okay to cry. Hailey, Wendell is just a kid, a young kid. He's only 7 years old so what's wrong if he's crying?”
DERRICK BELLIOT
“Mommy, I already want to go home!”
MR. LEON BELLIOT
“Mom, we're heading home, take care of our Wendell, and inform us if there's already an update”

Mrs. Hailey carry his youngest son and leave the room immediately.
WENDELL BELLIOT
“Mom! Dad don't leave!”
MR. LEON BELLIOT
“I'm sorry Wendell, but you must listen to the doctor, okay?”
His dad also take his leave because he cannot bare watching his son crying for any longer.
MRS. GREEN BELLIOT
“Grandma will be the one taking care of you here at the hospital, stop crying now please, grandma will be sad if she continue to see her beloved Wendell crying”
The doors opened and the doctor came in with few nurses.
WENDELL BELLIOT
I tried to remember the past but... I can't remember that much what happened next. But all I know is they lied to me.

Chapter 1: How Life Is
NURSE
“Happy birthday Wendell, are you happy? Your family are going to visit you later”
WENDELL BELLIOT
“Really? Who told you?”
NURSE
“It's normal for parents to celebrate their child's birthday”
WENDELL BELLIOT
“Nah, if you're not sure, then don't say it. You're just going to give someone a false hope”
The door opened and a guy with red hair entered.
CENDRIK JASON
“Bro! Happy 18th birthday! I wish you to have a happy lifetime!”
Cendrik hugged Wendell very tight that he almost run out of breath, thankfully it also stop before Wendell told him to.
WENDELL BELLIOT
“What do you want?”
CENDRIK JASON
“Is it not obvious? It's your birthday so I came to visit”
NURSE
“I'm leaving now since you have a friend that can entertain you”
The nurse walk quietly and leaving the two.
CENDRIK JASON
“What's with her sad face?”
WENDELL BELLIOT
“Remember the nurse that I've told you spying at me and reporting my EVERY moves to my parents? It's her”
CENDRIK JASON
“So you decided to be mean and be cold to her?”
WENDELL BELLIOT
“Tsk, I hate them. Why can't I get the freedom I'm longing for?”
CENDRIK JASON
“What do you mean?”
WENDELL BELLIOT
“Obviously, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I'm stuck in this hospital for almost eleven years! I cannot stand so long, walk, run, and more physical activities. All I can do that can make my whole day complete is to play video games but what did they do?! They confiscate all of them! And-”
CENDRIK JASON
“Woah! Woah! Woah! Calm down okay? When did they confiscate your gadgets and video games?”
WENDELL BELLIOT
“I cannot remember the exact date but it's when we're playing Fallout City Online and when we're about to head to raid the other guilds”
CENDRIK JASON
“OKAY! SO NOW! I AM ALSO MAD AT THEM! HOW COULD THEY DO THAT?! IT'S SO IMPORTANT TO US! DO THEY WANT TO DIE?! BECAUSE I'M REALLY GOING TO KILL THEM AND-”
The door opened with the voice of a man that really familiar to Wendell.
The both of them shocked after seeing Mr. Belliot with his wife and his youngest son.
CENDRIK JASON
“Ah... Hahaha! That's only a joke Mr. Belliot! Oh! I almost forgot! We have a test at school now! I have to go!”
DERRICK BELLIOT
“Eh? But it's sunday”
CENDRIK JASON
“Eh? Ah! Hahahah! I mean test at our church! Yeah! At church! Haha”
Cendrik leaves akwardly and leaving the Belliot family in silence.
MRS. HAILEY BELLIOT
“He's the youngest son of Jason family right? He must learn how to behave well. He's such a bad influence for a friend. I am wrong sending him to be your friend”
WENDELL BELLIOT
I want to defend him but I know I must not... Once my mom judge a person and I go against her, she would feel humiliated and will hold a grudge in me. Mom is really scary if she holds a grudge in a person. She's childish and make something just to get a revenge, even you're a KID.
MR. LEON BELLIOT
“Do you really want to get your gadgets and video games back?”
WENDELL BELLIOT
I looked at mom giving her a questioning look.
MRS. HAILEY BELLIOT
“Because of that things, you managed to talk about us in our back! And even kill us? What the heck?!”
WENDELL BELLIOT
Can't she take it a joke? But...

I can feel a sudden pain in my heart. It is like a stab in me emotionally. Can't she understand how I love those things she's taking away from me? Staying here alone is really... Depressing...
WENDELL BELLIOT
I looked away and put my put my attention to the window. They're just making my day worst by visiting me. I'm expecting that my birthday would be good but looks like puting a lot of expectation can make you more disappointed.

Am I being childish?
DERRICK BELLIOT
“Mom, you're being bad. It's brother's birthday remember?”
MR. LEON BELLIOT
“Sorry honey but I think, Derrick is right. You're being bad. It's Wendell's birthday. He must feel special by treating him special”

I smile a little hearing dad's words. Is it mean I'm allowed to play games? Jeez I already missed playing. I'm sure it's been a week since the last I played.
MRS. HAILEY BELLIOT
“You're spoiling him”
WENDELL BELLIOT
“Nevermind, if mom doesn't want to, then don't force her”
WENDELL BELLIOT
Mom looked at me as if she doesn't believe that I don't want to play.
WENDELL BELLIOT
I really want to play but I hate it when I'm playing while there's someone who doesn't want me to. I'm just going to wait dad put some guilt in mom.
MR. LEON BELLIOT

DOC. HELLOSS
“Hello, Mr, and Mrs. Belliot. About you're son I have some news about him. Anyway happy birthday Wendell, I have a gift for you”
WENDELL BELLIOT
Doctor Hel gave me an box without a wrapper. I opened it and saw an glasses inside.
DOC. HELLOSS
“Sorry I didn't bother to wrap it because I was busy. Anyways Mr, and Mrs. Belliot. Kindly follow me at my office”
My parents nod and follow Doc. Hel leaving the two brothers alone.
DERRICK BELLIOT
“Happy Birthday brother! I almost forgot to greet you, hehe”
WENDELL BELLIOT
“Let's follow them”
DERRICK BELLIOT
“Eh? But why?”
WENDELL BELLIOT
“Just help me to ride in this fuc*ing wheelchair, please?”
Derrick helped his brother get the wheelchair and put him there and soon left the room.
