**Lucy is an ordinary student at the Faculty of Natural Sciences in Bratislava. But besides school, there is one thing about her, dreams about elves. Why does she have these dreams and what is the point of them? Are they real at all?
Drake is a young Elvish king who tries not only to save his country but his whole race. There is a danger of destruction, and so the young king is trying to find anything that could save them. For this he is able to sacrifice everything**.
Chapter 1: 'It's true!'
*All the rebellious rulers of the kingdoms gathered in the huge room, the ceiling of which was only a few feet up. Around the round table sat five rulers, King Earl, King Marvin, King Vernon, King Ray and their chief leader King Lester. Each of them had a respectable age, but neither that did discourage them from their rebellion.
"We all know why we met here today," King Lester began. All of them nodded in agreement. But the elven king's old face frowned.
"Despite all the battles, the Kingdom of Zevahim prevails over us and refuses to give up. Their young king refuses to humble themselves and admit that destruction will be the greatest honor for his kingdom! We know well that the greatest users of Power were the people of the Kingdom of Zevahim! It is only their fault that Power has almost passed! "The old Elf furiously struck the table until it shook. The other Elven kings stared at him silently. They didn't know what to do. Of all the six kingdoms, the Kingdom of Zevahim was the greatest all over the planet, since it was formed by the unification of the six kingdoms, namely the original Kingdom of Zevahim, the Kingdom of Menahot, the Kingdom of Hullin, the Kingdom of Bekhorot, the Kingdom of Acharin, and the Kingdom of Temurah. The largest of them after Zevahim were the Kingdom of Keritot, which was ruled by King Lester, slightly smaller were the Kingdom of Me'ilah, which was ruled by King Earl, and the Kingdom of Tamid, where the eldest of the Elven kings ruled, King Marvin. King Vernon and the Kingdom of Kinnim which it was King Ray, one of the smallest kingdoms.
"If we do not do anything, the whole Kodashim will disappear. And some well remember how much effort it has given us to create it to escape the destruction. If the people had not rebelled against us at that time, everything would have been different and we wouldn't have to deal with this here, "said the oldest Elvish King Marvin. Many of them bowed their heads. They remembered too badly the terrible defeat when people rose up against their domination. and they had to escape with a tail with their tails withdrawn. With the power that the elves had gained during the domination of humans, the Elves created the Kodashim planet in a different dimension to remain separate from humans. years since the rebellion and the supply of power began to pass Five kingdoms rose up against Zevahim with the purpose of giving up all its inhabitants and restoring supplies of power The only way to restore power was death Previous king Zevahim Zane with his wife Edna along with others volunteers returned to Power, and for some time replenished her supplies their only son, Drake, the current ruler of Zevahim, was orphaned, but despite the sacrifice of the young king and his subjects, Power was ill-manipulated and passed at a dizzying pace. The five kingdoms therefore began to challenge Zevahim again, but so far unsuccessfully. Their troops against Zevahi could do nothing. Their attacks easily reflected this kingdom. Therefore, the kings reunited to prevent losses in their own ranks.
"That's why I came up with a new plan ..." began King Lester*.
What was next I didn't know now. The alarm clock took me out of my dream. If it could even be called a dream. It was all too real, and I sincerely doubt that my brain could think of it all.
"Lucy, if you don't wake up, turn off the alarm," the voice from the other end of the room told me. I opened my eyes and reached for the phone on the shelf. I turned off the alarm and thoughtfully looked at the clock on my mobile. Eight, but I still need to learn. I lay on my bed for a while, overblown and pray the morning prayer. Then I sat on the bed and looked around. The roommate Ema was still asleep. Yes, that's the one that alerted me I heard the other roommate Laura in the hallway, I pulled the curtain down and got out of bed I put on my slippers and headed to the bathroom in the room I prefer not to look at myself in the mirror I quickly washed and dried my face. Laura sat between the cabinets on the floor opposite the bathroom and was just drinking coffee, hollowed into my scratches. As I walked out of the bathroom, I smiled at her. the smile returned to me.
"You look tired. You didn't sleep well?" she asked me with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, you can say that," I sighed. Meanwhile, I opened the refrigerator and wondered what I'd have for breakfast.
"Do you have those dreams of the elves again?"
"I still have them. I don't even times remember when I didn't have them. Sometimes I have a problem distinguishing them from an ordinary dream, "I confided in her. Laura drank from her coffee and looked at me with sympathy in her eyes.
"If I could help you. Who knows why you have them? Maybe there's something behind it. "
"There is definitely something behind it. I am becoming a fool because of this school, "I grinned at her. Laura ran a gulp of coffee and I just laughed.
"Yeah, of course!" said Laura with a laugh. Laura and I were both studying chemistry and biology at the Faculty of Science. Together we went through a bachelor's degree and now we are continuing on a master's degree. Me, Laura and Ema have been roommates since we started college. Ema is studying at the same faculty, but only chemistry, so we've been together in the same room for the fourth year.
"So I'm going to eat and study, cause I want to pass exam from the genetics!" I said with a smile and walked quietly into the room. I sat down at my desk and opened my notebook. I plugged in the headphones, opened the document with with my genetic notes and background news, I kept quietly trying to open the yoghurt, and after successfully opening it, I took a full teaspoon of it so that I could start learning while eating.
"We can say with certainty that in the past there was a different race on the Earth than ours. According to our calculations, it suddenly disappeared almost five hundred years ago and has not been recorded since then, "a voice came from the news.
"It was apparently a race that is called in many fairy tales and stories as elves. Why and how these elves have disappeared have not yet been found, but we are already working to find out in the near future, "the voice continued, and I froze at the word "elves". This is certainly not true! I quickly grabbed the mouse and replayed this message again. So I heard well.
"What is going on? You look like you see a ghost, "Ema leaned over me. I pulled the headphones out of my ears and jumped out of my chair. Ema jumped in surprise.
"That can't be true, it just can't!" I talked around.
"What? What are you talking about?" asked me Laura, who had just entered the room.
"Listen up!" I unplugged the headphones and turned up the volume a little. Then I replayed them the message. As soon as they heard it, they looked at me in disbelief.
"Who was that person in the news? The voice sounded familiar to me, "Laura said, and I flipped through the page to find a name we already knew.
"Archaeologist Roman Palkovič. Well, I can't believe it's him!"
"Roman? Really?" Laura didn't want to believe me, but when she was convinced that I was telling the truth, she stayed open-mouthed.
"If it was really Roman, there is a good chance that what he said is true. We know him and he is not deceiving, "said Ema, who also knew Roman. It was our common acquaintance who had completed his studies of archeology last year and lived at this student residence.
"So you want to tell me that my dreams can have some truth in them?" I sat down on my chair terrified. Ema and Laura didn't know what to say to me, and they were rather silent. I was just shaken by the notion that there were elves somewhere. I knew from my dreams that people were enslaved by them, but one thing I knew for sure. Between the world I had seen in my dreams and ours was the line that separated them. The Guardian guarded the border so that neither would try to exterminate the other. Then someone pinched my cheeks.
"Ouch! Laura! "I screamed.
"Sorry, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a dream."
"So you should have pinched yourself, not me!" I stroked my cheeks, which slowly started to burn me, and I certainly had it all red.
"Really sorry, but if what Roman said is really true, then all your dreams are real and have some meaning. Who may be showing you their past, present, or future, " said Laura. I just nodded. Something hit the door really hard at that moment. It was as if someone backed up and crashed into them. All three of us jumped up in surprise and I stepped to the door. But there was no one behind them ...
*Drake woke up at that moment and found himself dozing on the throne. He wore a golden royal crown inlaid with red jewels, which he inherited from his father. His eyes of golden color faded into the unknown, wondering what he had seen in his dream. He unconsciously smoothed his black trousers and red shirt embroidered with gold thread.
"Drake?" he was disturbed by a woman's voice. King Drake finally looked at the young elf standing beneath his throne. Her long black hair stretched freely to the ground, with a gold headband around her head. Her blue eyes stared at him and not him at the same time. Her eyes could no longer be seen.
"Yes, Alma?" the young king of the throne addressed her, and Alma just smiled.
"You overslept. Have you seen something?" she asked him, though she knew what the answer was. Alma was the prophetess of Zevahim. Drake raked his thick red hair with his fingers, putting his heavy crown on his knees. He closed his eyes and thought about the answer.
"I saw her. Our light at this time of darkness* ... "
... **and all your slaves will rise up against you. The beginning of your end will start. You will live in a dark corner without true light and tremble. You will be divided into many nations. You will crave Power and stop at nothing. You will rise up against each other. This will bring you destruction. Because He sees everything. He sees all your deeds. Nothing will remain hidden from Him. And you will be punished for everything ...
...But he will give you hope. From you will be born someone to guide you to the light. But you will crave his blood like greedy vampires. You will crave his life. It is Him who will connect him with the human child ...
... Listen carefully to Him! Because only Him alone can rescue you from the hands of death! ...
... if the chosen one leaves his pride and humbles himself, the human child will save him from destruction and all of you! Only in this way will you avoid punishment ...
... the elf and man shake hands as a sign of joining their lives. This brings together two races. Their worlds come together again, and there will be peace between them ...

Chapter 2: 'Everything will be fine.'
"You still have 10 minutes till the end," the professor told us. I was so scared that I jumped on the spot. The PhDr. student who had an eye to us strangely looked at me during the rehearsal. I think she thought I was cheating. I took a deep breath to stop my heart beating so quickly. What did I just think about being lost in thoughts during the exam ?! I just lowered my head and continued to take the genetics test. Most of the test was done, so I passed it quickly after filling it it. I got out of the lecture room, where I sat down on a bench, leaned on my knees with my elbows, and buried my face in my hands.
"You silly! How could you think of some stupidity during the exam?! You almost got fired because of that!" I was angry at myself. Since that morning, my thoughts have been running everywhere but not where they should. Someone touched my shoulder and I jumped to my feet with surprise.
"What is? It's just me, " said Laura, letting go of my shoulder.
"Nothing. It's okay, "I said, putting my hand on my chest. I should stop thinking about it or I would have a heart attack. My heart was beating very fast.
"Move on," Laura ordered me, sitting down beside me.
"Now, spill it out. You've been weird since morning. And I doubt it would be cause of this test. "
"Nothing really happened," I replied, lowering my eyes. At that moment Laura hugged me.
"So if you don't want to talk about it, then okay. You know if you want to talk, I'm here for you," Laura stroked my back and I finally gave her a hug.
"Thank you, Laura. Thank you very much, "after a while I was feeling better, so we both had lunch. We talked about the questions that were in the test. As I thought of something else, my mood improved completely. We ate quickly, since Laura hurried to the train home. I was going to student residence and there I wanted to think about what I was going to do tonight. Laura and I went from school to the tram stop, where I said goodbye to her.
"Don't be so sad and smile, Lucia!" she told me before she got on the tram and I waved her. I slowly walked to the pedestrian crossing and waited for the green light to jump. After a while I got her. I stepped on the crossing when at that moment I felt for a moment that everything around me had stopped. Cars, trams, people and even birds in the sky immobilized. At that moment there was a male voice calling my name. I just stayed in the middle of the road for a few seconds, I didn't know if it really happened or I just got crazy for second. The green on the traffic light changed to red and I quickly ran to the other side.
"I just dreamed it," I said to myself on the way until I reached the door of our room. I pulled the keys out of my purse and unlocked the door. I slowly walked in and opened another room door that wasn't locked. Ema looked around and smiled at me. I gave her a hesitant smile.
"How was exam?" she asked me as she packed her suitcase.
"It should be fine," I said to her. I threw down my purse beside my desk, then went to sit on my bed and took off my boots.
"Really? You don't look excited, " she looked at me in disbelief. I just smiled and changed into the clothes I wore at the dormitory. Ema had clipped her suitcase and put it beside her bed.
"When are you going to the station?" I asked.
"Well, I'm still having lunch, and then I'm going to the bus slowly. Did nothing really happen? "
"Really nothing. I'm just a little shocked. You know what I happened this morning, "I sighed.
"Oh, so. I understand then, "Ema said.
"I guess I'll go relax for a while, so I wish you a happy journey and a nice weekend," I got out of bed and hugged her.
"Thank you, keep an eye on yourself, okay?" she smiled at me, and I just nodded. I heard when Ema went out to have lunch, and then I didn't see anything, at least not from this world.
*The chamber was almost totally dark. The only light source was a small flashing light that floated above a small table. There was no window in the chamber but a massive wooden door. The face of the Elven King Lester appeared in the light. His face betrayed a deep thought. That was how he sat for a while when someone knocked on the huge door.
"Come in," the king gestured, and the door opened slowly and another elf entered.
"Sir, everything is ready," he announced.
"Good, I'll be there in a moment," the king nodded, and the elf closed the door again. The King of elves stood up, his hand touching the flashing light above the table. This enlarged and illuminated the entire room. Lester turned toward the wall where the young elf's portrait was hanging. The king gently stroked the image.
"Finally, your departure will make sense, Leo. Thanks to you, we will finally be able to defeat Zevahim, " he said, and at that moment he turned to the table. He touched the light again, and it was gone. Subsequently, only the door slammed*.
*In a moment the scene changed. It was no longer a chamber, but a great hall. On the one hand there was a huge door, much larger than those in the chamber before. On the ground was a long strip of narrow blue carpet from the door to the steps of the throne. The throne wasn't huge, but it still seemed noble. At that moment the door with a whisper opened. A red-haired elf stepped forward, and a white-haired elf in armor walked in his footsteps. It was the first time Lucy had seen King Drake and his friend Leroy in a dream. The king went straight to the throne, went up the small stairs, but did not sit down. He stood and turned to Leroy.
"So you're telling me that fighting on the border suddenly died down?" he asked in disbelief.
"That's right, Your Majesty," Leroy lowered his head.
"Keep those talks for another time, it's just the two of us, Leroy. It is strange that for many years they have created riots at the borders, sending threatening letters and suddenly stop doing so. They're up to something, " the young king's eyes narrowed as he always did when he was unhappy.
"Recently, all the rebellious kings gathered in a secret assembly. Maybe it has something to do with it, " said Leroy.
"That's quite probable. Those oldsters are definitely going to do something and we have to find out what, " Drake went down the stairs and put his hand on his friend's shoulder.
"You're in charge of trying to find out anything about their new plot. If you find anything new, let me know immediately, okay? "
"Of course, your High-," he didn't finish, cause Drake squeezed his shoulders and Leroy smiled guilty. He still couldn't get used to the fact that his best friend had become his king, so he always tried to address him respectfully, although Drake didn't like it, and he preferred to call him privately as an old friend. Though he had become King, Drake had never forgotten an old friend whom he had greatly appreciated.
"I'll let you know if there's anything new, Drake," Leroy smiled, patting Drake's hand on his shoulder. The young elven king folded his hand from his shoulder and instructed him to leave. As soon as his friend left the royal hall, Alma and the elven child entered. With one hand, it clung to the edge of her dress and walked beside her with her eyes down. Drake approached both.
"If I think correctly, you already knew about what Leroy had just told me. I don't even have to guess that you know why this is happening. Can you kindly tell me why you never tell me about it?!" Drake was really angry and it was heard in his voice. The elven child was shaking his shoulders, and it seemed to cry when Alma grabbed his arm.
"I see everything, but you know that you have to learn about some things at the right time, never before," Alma replied soberly. His anger could not distract her. The young king still looked at her with anger.
"You always get me angry and you know it well!" yelled Drake and the child squeezed Alme's hand tightly.
"Did I anger you even when I sacrificed my eyes so that you could connect with a human child?" Alma said calmly, but the young king winced at those words.
"All right, let's leave it like that. You don't have to pull it all the time. You know that if I knew what you had to sacrifice for that connection, I would try to find another solution."
"There was no other solution and it will not be. Just don't waste what I sacrificed and save the entire Kodashim, otherwise we will be ruined, " Drake looked into her empty eyes and knew that Alma was right.
"I know well, Alma. I'm not going to miss that chance you gave me. And now, if you dare, I have to go to Gus for a few answers, since you don't want to give them to me, " said the young king, and as he turned, a long red cloak howled behind him.
"Take care of yourself, Drake. At the Guardian, your destiny awaits you, " said Alma, looking in the direction where Lucy stood. No one else saw her. Alma smiled at her, and Lucy realized that the elf could see her. Lucy reversed her gaze until she hit the wall* ...
That's when I woke up. I opened my eyes quickly and was disoriented for a moment. But after a while it passed and I realized that my face was sweaty. My head hurt incredibly. I put my cool hand on my forehead and dared not close my eyes anymore. I was afraid I would fall asleep again. Those dreams were not dreams at all. I really lived through them. I've always been in them, even though nobody seems to have seen me. Nobody but that female elf. The wall I touched with my back was real. I could still feel the cold on my back that seeped through the wall.
"What should I do? What am I supposed to do? "I was really scared of this discovery. I sat down on my bed and hung my feet off it. I hugged my shoulders with both hands. I was shaking. Why me? Only one name came to me at that time. Only one person might be able to help me. But before that I have to calm down.
"Everything will be fine, you will see," I tried to convince myself. After a few minutes, the shiver passed, so I lowered my hands to my knees. I had no idea what time it was at all, but I went to change my clothes, walked over, took just my papers and my cell phone and went straight to church for service. I needed Him to give me courage. I had no idea what path was waiting for me, but I needed it. I don't know why it was me. I had many questions in my head that only He could answer. But at the same time, I knew the answers would always come at the right time, just like the female elf said...
After the service, during which I finally calmed down, I walked on the streets of Bratislava. I didn't call him in advance. I had his address stored in my notes on my phone. I probably knew where the block of flats was, but to be sure, I entered the address into maps on my mobile and turned on GPS. I took my gloves out of my pocket, put a cap on my head, and walked on. At least ten minutes of walking were waiting for me. It was pretty cold outside, a small cloud of steam formed in front of me every time I breathed. It was already dark, but the lights were on the streets, so I could still see the road. I didn't stop, I just looked back and forth on my cell phone and checked if I was going right. The whole journey seemed to me like eternity. I met all sorts of people. Some came from shops, some just entered them. Many times a couple passed by me, whether they were in my years or older or younger, but they always held hands. And since it was cold, they were always holding tight of each other. I went through these couples with a sad smile on my face. But I didn't stop once. I didn't even meet anybody familiar. Eventually I came to my destination. I rang the bell at his name. No one answered but the door opened. So I walked in, stepped up the stairs to the third floor, looking for his apartment number. As I found them, I noticed that the door was biased. Something didn't seem right to me, so I loudly knocked quite a few times, and so I walked in. But I stayed in the hallway when I heard voices. Roman was talking to someone. In a language that was unknown to me, so I didn't know what it was about. As they spoke, the other voice became familiar to me, but I couldn't assign it.
"Roman?" I called. Suddenly the voices were silent. There was a rumble in the opposire room and a moment later Roman came out.
"Lucy? What are you doing here? How did you come in?" he asked, surprised.
"You opened me, didn't you? I rang and the door was already open. I even knocked, "I replied. I looked at Roman, who seemed a bit strange to me.
"Oh, yes, I'm sorry. You're right, I opened door to you. What brought you to me?" he asked me, looking back into the room and closing the door.
"I'd like to talk to you about something, but I guess you have a guest."
"There is no one here. Come and sit down, "he said, pointing to the couch.
"But I heard you talking to someone," as I said it, so I saw Roman getting nervous.
"Oh, that! Well, I was on phone with the professor of archeology. "
"Is he from abroad?" I asked, waiting for his reply.
"Yes," Roman replied quickly.
"Ah, that's why I didn't understand you," I replied, and Roman finally sat down in the chair opposite the couch with a smile. I folded my hands on my knees.
"Roman, I'm sorry to bother you, but I didn't know who else I could talk to about it," I began, and Roman frowned in his chair.
"To be honest, I also wanted to go and talk to you. Come on, you can start with what bothers you," he interrupted for a moment, but he let me go. I got a little weaken. I didn't know what he wanted to talk to me about. At that moment Roman's cell phone rang. He looked at it and frowned.
"Sorry, I have to take this, I'll be right back," he picked up the phone and closed in his room. I stayed there, so I looked around the living room. Finally, my gaze wandered into the kitchen, which was next to the living room. I could see from the couch that there were probably some artifacts on the kitchen table. As I looked at them, one of them glowed. Curiosity won so I got up. I walked into the kitchen and looked closer at the table. There were many things on it, but I didn't pay attention to them. All I was interested in was a necklace. It consisted of a black ribbon and a blue oval pendant on which a gold rune was etched. It was strange that Roman had something in between these artifacts, and the strangest thing was that the pendant was shining. And it shone more and more. Curiosity overwhelmed me again, so I reached for the pendant and took it in my hand. The light filled the room and I closed my eyes. At one point I was in Roman's kitchen and in the second I was falling not sure where ...
Chapter 3: 'They call me Guardian.'
I felt that I was falling immediately. It was just like when I jumped off a bridge once. The only difference was that at that time I was tied to the bridge railing, and now absolutely nothing held me. The panic in me grew. I really wanted to cry. Is this my end? At that moment, many things I still wanted to do, and words I wanted to say to my dearest, flashed through my mind. Tears began to ****** into my eyes and my hair rolled around my head. I just wanted to close my eyes and wait for the pain of falling. To wait for my end. But something didn't allow me to close my eyes. Something made me look down as I was falling. The ground below was really magical. Untouched country, where as if never touched by a man. At this thought, I noticed a figure standing at the edge of the forest. There wasn't only one! There were countless numbers of them. When the light began to reflect from them, I realized something. Below me was the army. I guess I already went crazy, but at that moment I only thought that there was an elven army under me. I still had the necklace in my hand, so I pressed it firmly into my palm. I closed my eyes firmly and expected a painful fall ...
They all looked at the figure falling down. She came out of nowhere. King Lester smiled happily, but when the light appeared in the sky and then another figure, he just gritted his teeth."What is he doing here ?!" the king growled, instructing his troops to be prepared. That human was supposed to be his!The other figure, wearing a long, dark green cloak, caught HIS human in the arms !
Suddenly someone grabbed me in his arms and wrapped around me his cloak. At that moment I opened my eyes and looked at my savior. He had short-cut black hair, brown eyes, and a short beard coupled with soft fusions under his nose. I haven't been able to look at him for a long time, as we finally hit the ground. I did not even feel the fall in his arms, I just heard the ground thumping under us, and a wisp of dust rose up around us. I wanted to look at the army that was still there, but he didn't allow me to. Immediately he folded me out of his arms, drew me on his chest, put his hand on my head, and covered me in his entire cloak from head to toe."Don't move and be quiet. You are safe with me, but I'd rather not take the risk, "my rescuer commanded me, and I preferred to obey him. Suddenly there was a voice. I heard him clearly, but I couldn't understand the words.
"*What you're hiding under the cloak is mine," King Lester shouted as the two figures fell a few yards away."
And what is yours?" asked figure in the cloak.
"That doesn't need to bother you, Guardian! Give it to me!" angry King already shouted. When soldiers heard who is standing in front them, they looked at their leader in surprise.
"As long as it's with me, it's mine. But I hope very much that what you were waiting for was not human, Lester," the Guardia smiled and the old Elvish king bit his lip.
"Human? But how would he get here? And what would the king want to do with human? " those words began to whine between Lester's soldiers. On the one hand, they were afraid of the Guardian because they knew why they called him the Guardian and, on the other, they feared people. There was still fear among people that they would come and kill them all. Those concerns remained unfounded. Until now. Lester turned to his people.
"Don't worry, no human is here or will ever be," he tried to calm them down. After a moment of persuasion, he finally succeeded. Full of hatred and anger, he turned to the Guardian and sent a thought to him."
You got me now! But next time you will fail and that human will be in my hands! You will not protect him forever! "
"Just try it, you old fox," the Guardian sent thpse words to him and smiled happily. The old elf turned angry with his back and gave the order to leave. After a while, only the Guardian and the human he covered with his cloak stood by the forest*.
"I think we shouldn't be here for long. Otherwise that fox will change his mind, " said my rescuer after a while in my language.
"How do you master my language and their language? And what did you talk about? "I asked as soon as I got free from under his cloak.
"I will answer everything, we just have to move elsewhere. So, Lucy, close your eyes for a while and hold on to me! " he ordered me. Immediately I had a question on my tongue, how did he know my name, but I better grabbed his elbow and closed my eyes. He took me into his arms and I heard a strange sound. Something flickered in the air, and I felt a strong stream of air on my face. So we were flying. I longed to open my eyes and look at it. But since the moment I looked down why I was falling I still had an invisible hand squeezing my heart and I wasn't breathing the easiest. At another moment, we seemed to have landed because my rescuer had put me down.
"You can already open your eyes. Come in, " he said and I finally opened them. The first thing I saw was an open door to a small wooden house. It looked very simple. My rescuer stood beside me holding the door open so I walked in. I managed to look back before the door was closed. So this was no house in the middle of the forest, but a house in the middle of the sky!
"Sit down," he pushed my chair away from the desk and I finally sat down and finally breathed. I don't know why, but I felt safe here even though this certainly wasn't an ordinary house and neither was the man. Only now, when you folded your cloak and hung it over another chair, did I notice that his hands were strewn with various black tattoos. But they were not concrete images, only different circles and lines. He put a chair in front of me and sat down.
"Maybe I should introduce myself first. That will probably be the simplest, " he said, and I nodded.
"In this world, they call me Gus or the Guardian. You may wonder what I am the guardian of. Well, I keep the line between this world and yours. It's been a long time, so you don't have to ask about my age. I won't even tell you that. Well, back to the point. Long ago, this world and yours were all one. You've already seen snippets from this world, so I won't surprise youwhen I will say that people and elves lived in that common world. Who was the first in the world could not remember even the oldest elves anymore. At that time, I only took care of that so noone will remember it. But over time, the elves began to enslave people. They showed that they were a higher race because of their longevity, and since the only way they could survive was to soak up the Power of the world. Power is something that both humans and elves have been made of, but since the elves have lived for a long time, their Power has gradually disappeared. On the other hand, people were overflowing with Power. Elves have always been able to use the power of nature and Power, so they enslaved people to use them as a source of Power. However, this enslavement did not last long. People united and stood up against the elven. In a short time, they were able to exterminate almost half the entire elven population. People have not marked the losses on their side, yet you are used to having a limited life. Finally, someone higher had to intervene. He, who created everything, eventually divided the two races into two worlds and created a border between them. And here we come to my role. I guard this line so that no elf gets into your world and no man gets into the world of elves. "
