Hi, my name is Kaur. I am an average middle schooler at sunstar middle school. As I was about the get off my car, my phone vibrated. It was a message from Ivy, one of my best friend.

‘Hurry up and get to school! The bell is going to ring soon!’ She texted. I texted back with an okay and started running to where we usually meet up. When I arrived, he was smiling and holding a bag of chocolates for her teachers.

“ How much money did you spend on all of these?!” I said in surprise.

She replied,“ Oh, just some chocolates for my teachers. You know, gotta butter up to those teachers. Maybe I will get some extra credit out of it.” We both started laughing, knowing that these stingy teachers don’t give extra credits and that Ivy was just joking around. Then we heard the bell ring, it was time to go to class.

My first class is Science while she have math, so we parted ways. After the first class, it was break time. We met up in front of our language class, which we both have together.

“ So, how was math?” I asked.

“ IT WAS SO BORING THAT I WANT TO JUST RUN OUT OF THE CLASS!” She yelled.” But I didn’t because I need to keep a good image on in front of the teacher.”

“ True, we are stuck with these teachers for the next few month after all.” I replied. Then the bell rang again. We both headed into the AB class and sat down. Our seat were next to each other, so we talk in class quite a lot. Ivy stood up and gave out Language teacher the chocolate.

“ Good morning class.” Ms.Pandora said. “ Today is Valentine’s Day, so we will be watching a movie instead of doing work.”

“Yay!” Everyone yelled in class. Well, almost everyone, Ivy and me were just sitting in our seats quietly, pretending to be the good students that we are.

“ Qiet down everyone, why can’t you guys be like Kaur and Ivy? They are always so quiet and hardworking.” Ms.Pandora said.

“ Of course they are.” Lucas, someone in our class yelled. “ They are Asians, if they are not smart and quiet, then who else will be?”

Ms.Pandora was unhappy with the statement and said, “ What race you are does not determine your grades, they just worked really hard and are good students.” You will have to see me after class today, Mr.Lucas.”

While all of this was happening, Ivy and I were just looking at each other and smiling, knowing fully well that we are just devils in disguise. Ms.Pandora put on the movie and that was how Language class ended. After language class, we have lunch.

“ Finally! I was starving to death. Ms.Pandora never allows us to eat in class,but she does it all the time.” Ivy complained.

“ True, I want boba and chips right now......” I said with my stomach growling.

We walked to the cafeteria and got our lunch. We sat down in our usual spot and began talking. After a few minutes, a boy came up to us. It was Mathew. He had a crush on me ever since 2nd grade.

“ Happy Valentine’s Day.”He said with a smile. Then, he handed me a box of chocolate.

“Thanks.” I replied. After that, Mathew left.

“ Lucky.....I want some chocolate too.... School lunch taste like trash.” Ivy said. I felt bad and gave her some.

“ By the way, how do you feel about him?” Ivy said with a smirk on her face. “ He is pretty hot after al, I won’t mind him being your boyfriend, but I have to do a background check on him first.”

I blushed and said that he is just a friend. “Sureeeeee, I believe you.” Ivy said. After that, everything was just like every other day. We went to our other classes and went home.

Today is the most dreaded day of humanity! The day that the world will it!

It is PE testing.............

I walked to the locker room where we will change for PE with dread in my mind. As I reached the locker room, I heard Ivy’s abnoxious scream again.

“ WAAAAAAAAA! I DON’T WANT TO DO PE TESTING!” She screamed.

“ Shut up! I don’t want to either!” I said.

“ At least you can run the mile and do the sit and reach!” She replied.

“ Can you please shut up, Ivy and Kaur? Everything will be alright.” It was Acina, my friend.

Unlike Ivy, she is always calm and optimistic, at least that is how she looks like at first glance. When you get to know her, she isn’t any better than Ivy. I sometimes question myself why I am even friends with them, but I am. Too late to leave now.....

We all changed for PE and started our mile run. We had to finish it in 10 minute or less.

Or course, I was able to do that with no problem. However, I can’t say the same for Ivy and Acina. Ivy ended her run with the time to 10:30 and it was pretty much the same for Acina. They can’t run at all. Ivy and Acina seemed like they would die if they even stand up for another second, I feel so bad for them. Failing the mile means having to run it again and if you still don’t pass, your PE grade will drop and it might turn into a B. I am not so worried for Acina, but Ivy’s PE grade is already at a 95%. The testing is a big part of your grade, if she doesn’t pass, a be isn’t impossible.

“ JUST LET ME DIE!!!” Ivy yelled. “Although I actually don’t want to die because I still want to watch anime but still!”

“ Chill.” Both Acina and I said.

After the mile, we have the sit ups. I passed, Ivy also passed, and Acina ended up failing since she can’t even do one sit\-up .We had more testing and Ivy failed most of it and Acina failed only a small portion of it.I however, was lucky and didn’t fail.

“ Damn you Kaur, why can’t you fail just me like?” Ivy said.

“ Too bad for you.” I replied.

“ Good Job, Kaur.” Mathew said.

“ Why do you always pop out of nowhere?” Ivy asked Mathew.

“ How would I know.” He replied.

“ Welp, imma go find Acina and leave you two alone, byeeeee! Ivy said as she left to find Acina.

“ So, how is your day?” I asked Mathew.

“ Good, how is yours?” Mathew said.

“ Mine is also good.” I said while smiling.

Then, Mathew’s friend also came over and pulled Mathew away just like how they usually do. I sighed and started looking around me to find Ivy and Acina. Those two idiots were eavesdropping on me.

“Oops, we got caught.” Ivy said

“ Damn you.” I replied.

Welp, that is technically how the rest of the day went. Acina, Ivy, and me, just screaming and talking to each other about the most obscure things.
