A genius born from a powerful family famous for their successful prodigy children . As an illegitimate child , she was sent to train and manage the organized crime group the family manages . A versatile all-rounder genius , she chose to hide some of her skills to avoid suspiciouns and trouble . During her Assassination she accidentally fell down in a manhole and died .

She transmigrated inside a world which the characters from a novel she once read resides . She became the cannon fodder princess which isn't mentioned in the novel , caught and used for the power struggle of the throne . Clarisse chose to change the timid attitude of the original body to apply pressure , as a dominant woman being manipulated is a humiliation . With poisonous tongue , her enemies got scared by her dominance .

" You're committing blasphemy against a princess , you must be punished . "

" Watch your behavior , you're just a servant that I can dumb in the trash bin in any minute "

" How dare you embezzle the empire family , have you lose your mind? Are you courting death ? "

Clarisse is a mixed race Asian- Westerner , an all rounder versatile genuis . Unfortunately , she died

Crown Prince Jenson Reyan Silver , the male lead of the novel entitled Yellow Rose . He has a cold , arrogant attitude . Jenson is the type of person who hated dumb noble ladies . As a smart prince , he disdain that type of people . Costumed to his superiority complex Clarisse was cast aside .

It's because of him that the servants in the imperial palace didn't treat her special , as an adopted princess she was destined to be alone .

Her Father the duke died from the war , her mother died of poisoning . As the only child left , she was adopted by the emperor out of pity and guilt towards his friend the Duke . 

The timid little princess lowered her head , sadness enveloped her chest as it tightened . She felt wronged , why does everyone disdained her? She's just a child , lonely and left in the world by her parents yet no one pity her .

Everyday , whenever she attended Tea Party with the noblechildren she was cast aside and was only bullied by their poisonous tongues and fooled by their acts pitying the little princess because of the death of her father .

The Emperor brought a child , it's his love child with his concubine . Blonde hair and cute blue eyes , such an innocent young boy . Clarisse liked the younger brother .

As the three grew up , Lohr met with difficulties.  The emperor raised his children with the motto of ' prove your worth ' .

Just like Princess Clarisse , Prince Lohr grew up without any affections .

" Are you ok , Brother? "

" Shut it! I don't need your concern"

Clarisse clutch her chest , they got along since childhood . But slowly , Prince Lohr changed and came back with a cunning brain .

He started using Clarisse , she's a beauty and no one could resist Clarisse  and so he used her . Scheming against the crown prince , using the pitiful princess ... He gave out hints that the crown prince is so cold-blooded to treat princess Clarisse coldly . 

Succession for the throne . The moment the emperor started showing signs of illness , the two Prince battled for the throne .

The history of Clarisse wasn't actually mentioned in the novel . It was only mentioned that Jenson and Lohr didn't get along since childhood and the power struggle .

Uriel the female lead of the story  is engaged to the duke ever since she was a child . Due to the contact between the Gonzalez Family and Hazen family . The debt will be paid with a marriage between their children . Knowing that her future husband won't have any feelings for her . She thought that fawning over a man who in any minute could divorce her without any notice is a waste of time and feelings . She grew up shouldering the family debt a d became a living payment and a slave . Uriel is smart and sensible , the moment she met her future husband she smiled wryly , the duke is heavenly handsome it was like a curse in disguise ( curse was a blessing after all ) 

But she knew , that her role is to manage the household , bear his child and stood aside . She mustn't fall inlove , that's what written in the contract .

Uriel's heart ache after knowing this , she was born in the world to live and fall inlove yet she met her doom the moment she learned how to walk and talk . It's so cruel , she felt so wrong how could her fate be so cruel?

She studied diligently after meeting her husband . To avoid harboring inferiority complex , she decided to become a successful and respected woman so that her title as a contracted duchess won't leech on her life forever .

James is a kind man , he treated Uriel as his younger sister and other than that , no more . They came back to their daily lives and would only live together omce the good time comes .

Uriel is also content with their current relationship . She's not as ambitious as the other young nobles . All she wanted is a comfortable life .

The day she reached her puberty stage , she was sent to the dukedom to train how to manage the household and etiquettes towards her spouse .

Entering the Academy , there she met an another world . She made genuine friends and met Sheena , her bestfriend .

One day , Sheena heard that Uriel is James' Fiance . Sheena liked James for a long time only to hear that her bestfriend was her man's fiance .

Sheena started plotting against Uriel and took the advantage as James' Fiance's bestfriend to get closer to the man she liked . James met Sheena , her innocence made James attitude towards her to gentle . She's happy knowing that she had a good impression , she became bold and gave hints m blushing whenever they were alone or teased and then she would then start stuttering showing her nervousness . That made the two of them to fall inlove with each other .

As for Uriel , her heart ache to see the betrayal of her bestfriend . Although , She and James are only engaged due to the contract . Feelings sprouted , towards the man anticipating the day they would become one together and live with each other . Only to be shown a betrayal , she felt her cheeks sting just seeing the betrayal of her fiance .

Tears started streaming down her cheeks as she felt anguish . Her fate made her a clown , a laughing stock .

Uriel spat at the ground with a mockery in her eyes . A self mockery one , she laughed crazily .

" Aaaah , so this is the feeling "

" The feeling of betrayal "

Jenson, James' bestfriend as well as the prince and male lead Stared at the almost insane Uriel . Such an Angel , only to suffer hell . What have she done in her past life to: experience that kind of curse?

He approached her , their eyes met . They seem to understand each other , they could feel that they are same kind . Betrayed , and fate's toy .

" Have you gone mad now? Lady Uriel? "

Uriel shook her head " no Your Highness , I still have my sane . You need not to bother with this lowly one . " She answered

" It's painful , why are you acting tough? " His words stabbed at her chest . She closed her eyes , trying to prevent her tears from falling down .

" Does crying and tiring myself out could change my fate , Your Highness? Nothing's gonna change even if I spill all of my tears , everything already happened.  I couldn't change it , I could only burry the pain deep down . "

" Such a pitiful child " He muttered

Uriel smiled wryly and curtsied " Thank you for your accompany , Your Highness . I will be going ahead "

" Take care "

Uriel lay down her body on the top of her bed . Her body felt so tired , she calmed herself and buried the betrayals of her Fiance and Bestfriend. She herself only knew that her heart is screaming . Her hands are thirsty for violence . 

" Just what does it feel to feel Sheena's blood dirtying my face? How warm could it be? Should I kill her? That duke James seems to be delicious too . Hehe ... Hehehe ..... Hehehehehe"

She's in the verge of collapsing , going insane .

" No no no , let's marry Duke James first then snatch her inheritance kill him and torture the bitch . That's more like it . Hmm , how about spreading rumors? Plant doubts between them? Aish , why am I so foolish when it comes to vengeance? Is this what they are calling Ignorance is Bliss? "

Yellow Rose , means betrayed heart . Uriel was betrayed and vengeance sprouted in her heart . Few had passed and she became one of the wealthiest Noble Lady in the empire . Jenson and Uriel fell inlove with each other and killed Sheena and James .

Clarisse was never mentioned in the story , and Lohr is the third male lead next after James . Yet he was betrayed , he loved Uriel and he was the one who helped her to become one of the wealthiest Lady .

Lohr became the Villain of the story and the two brothers started the war of succession . He wanted to become the Emperor and assign Uriel as his Empress .

But not only was he betrayed by his aides/subordinates . He was also killed by his brother .

A figure of woman cried and held Lohr , she was Clarisse . The moment Lohr saw Clarisse , the memories from the childhood poured in his mind reminiscing the past .

" My lovely Princess , I'm sorry for using you . Younger brother wants to apologize ... Hehe , younger brother will be gone for a moment "

Lohr died with broken heart , Clarisse knew that her brother loved a woman named Uriel . She envied that woman , not only she was loved .

She also had a powerful man . Protected by warm and romantic arms , Uriel is definitely a protagonist .

" So lucky , Haha ... Uriel I admire you "

When Clarisse Winston woke up she stared dully at the mirror in front of her .

" What's with this f*cking dream? " she muttered looking around the room . The girl in the reflection looked a bit like her when younger .

This room looked like a room suited for a princess . Medieval vibe could be felt , Clarisse is sure that this gigantic room was not hers . 

" And , I am sure that i I died because of the manhole that night . Finding myself here is surely ridiculous " she muttered again

Walking towards her wardrobe she found that the dress types looked like the Renaissance gown in her previous world .

*Knock*

" Your Highness , I already prepared your bath " A servant entered the room and reminded her .

Clarisse looked at the servant who entered and nodded dully . She was shocked inside that her identity is a princess .

' When have I become a princess? Haha ridiculous '

After taking a bath with the assistance of the servants . Clarisse came to know that her name is Princess Clarisse Bithian Sky . It's all she heard since asking more would make her suspicious .

" I need a thorough investigation regarding my identity here in this world "

Walking through the hallway towards the dining room . Clarisse noticed the attitude of the servants here towards her . Cold , disdain , ignored , arrogance . Those are what the servants treated her .

She stopped herself from looking cold and calm , she remained silent to avoid suspiciouns . Without thorough investigation , she still doesn't know what personality the old Clarisse has . Frustrations started burning in her heart . If only she didn't die ,she wouldn't have to trouble herself adjusting in this world .

" You're late again , tsk " An elegant , good looking silver haired  man looked coldly towards Clarisse . He was seated beside the Emperor in the left side .

" Greetings Your Imperial Majesty , Your Highness Jenson and Your Highness Lohr " Clarisse curtsied

She heard the servants gossiping about Crown Prince Jenson and Prince Lohr earlier . Because of their heavenly looks, the servants would always talk about them bragging that they met the handsome guys yesterday and so on . She's so grateful to chance upon them or she would really meet her doom .

The blonde haired young man beside the Emperor to the right smiled at her warmly .

" Sister , have a seat "

" Next time , when you wake up late . You don't need to dine with us if you keep coming late . You've been educated about noble etiquettes yet you won't learn! " The silver haired man coldly said

Clarisse's forehead crunch , it feels like a mother disciplining a child . Her dull eyes looked at the man who look at her with disdain . A faint smirk formed on the corner of her lips .

" I thank for your concern your highness . I will gladly obey your instructions" Clarisse said calmly  , she did not dare to look at him at the eyes .

Jenson's brows knitted , hearing the calm , serene voice of the Princess . He felt like something changed, he glanced at her who started eating elegantly .

No , something's wrong ... Clarisse isn't as elegant as that . The manner which she held her spoon and knife is even more refined and elegant than his .

" You're strange today , Princess Clarisse "

Clarisse stopped her movements , she thought about what's strange about her . Did she get OUT OF CHARACTER? Clarisse isn't familiar with Clarisse's personality and mannerisms . 

" What's strange about me , Your Highness?" She looked up , her eyes are calm as serene a little lazy and dull .

Jenson's brows knitted again , Clarisse's eyes are strange . Clarisse is a timid and shy person , not like a calm , elegant , refined lady . What did she ate to change like this ?

" Do you have any problems right now? You're acting strange " Jenson coldly said as he stared at the Princess with suspiciouns .

The atmosphere suddenly tense up . Even the Emperor looked at Clarisse strangely , even the warm Prince Lohr looked at Clarisse with darkened face .

Jenson and Lohr , both prince . Clarisse recalled the story Yellow Rose she once read from her past life . If her conclusions are right , then the world she transmigrated to is the world where the characters of the story resides .

But she does not have any information about her identity except her name .

" What are you talking about , Your Highness " for the prince to puke out the information she wants . She must question him for him to differentiate between her previous self and now . How clever , is it?

" You are usually timid and shy what happened for you to act strange today " Bingo! Thanks big brother!

Clarisse faintly smirk .

So she's a timid person , she really act out of character . It's her fault , yeah .

" I just finished reading a book . The female lead is so cool that I end up copying her today ... " She fidgeted her fingers and acted timid .

" I know I look funny acting like this when I'm actually timid and dumb " she started bullshiting to explain her peculiarity today .

She cursed in her mind just how bullshit she was . Timid! Timid! So that's why they disdained her! Her face flushed red in frustration . But it looked like she's embarrassed outside .

" Hmmp " Jenson hurrump and continued eating again .

" I'm also surprised that Sister could also looked so noble like earlier . I almost did not recognize you " Prince Lohr butt in

The Emperor didn't say anything but he only stared at the little girl whose acting timid again . He felt a sense of loss after the girl striped her calm demeanor and acted timid again . Displeased , he glanced towards Jenson's direction annoyingly and ate his food with frustration .

That annoying young lad , if only you did not question her she wouldn't have acted shy again you!!! Aish I'm so frustrated .

" Your Imperial Majesty , Your Highness Jenson and Lohr  I'll go ahead " Clarisse stood up and curtsied .

She walked out of the dining room . Followed by silence , the three man looked at each other .

Clarisse gulp a mouthful of saliva . That was close! So close!

" Your Highness? Is there anything wrong? " The braided servant carefully asked her .

Unlike others , this servant is surprisingly respectful . Her impression towards the lass improved . " Hmm... What's your name again?" Clarisse stopped acting timid and came back with calm demeanor .

" Isha , your highness ... My name is Isha " a slave

Slaves usually don't have surnames . " Can i tell you a secret " it's not that she trusted this servant , as long as she could get information about herself she doesn't mind revealing that she couldn't remember her own self anymore .

The two walk in the garden , the servant looked at the calm princess who is usually timid . She's curious about the reason . Now that the Princess wanted to tell her a secret , she couldn't help but nod . " You can trust me , your highness "

" I... I couldn't remember myself anymore , c-can you tell me about my identity? I don't know what happened to me yesterday , but I suddenly couldn't recall who I am . I-isha , who am I ?" Clarisse acted nervously to persuade her that she really couldn't remember her own self . 

Isha was shocked when she heard this . Her hands covered her mouth as her eyes widened . " No way , your highness .. you couldn't be kidding right? " Isha gulped

So that's why the Princess is silent earlier . She is actually recalling who she was. Tears started streaming down her cheeks .

" No your highness , we need to talk this with His Majesty . This is a serious situation! " Isha persuaded the Princess . If the Emperor heard of this , then that means the Princess isn't safe! How could the Princess suddenly loss her memory when there's no people threatening her life? She needs to report this to His Majesty .

Clarisse is quite shock with Isha's words . No , she shook her head . She needs to cover the situation so that there would be no trouble coming right after her . " You don't need to , Isha ... I just want to know who I am . Besides , from I have observed ... The Crown Prince seems to dislike me . His Majesty didn't have any interest towards me . How could I trouble them with a trivial situation? They would only secure my safety and restrict my actions . I don't want my freedom to be snatched away ok? You understand that? Isha?"

Isha suddenly realized something and agreed with the Princess deduction . " Wow , Your Highness .. you're so smart , I didn't thought of that before "

Clarisse smiled and strolled in the garden .

After knowing her background , she thought that the Princess/old Clarisse is quite pitiful . So it's that Jenson's fault , being disdained by the Crown Prince is like announcing his dislike towards her making the other servants to treat her like that too .

" The Last Will of my father was kept by his Majesty . I need to get the will to manage the duchy . And leaning on with just my Princess Title is just like courting death . The war of succession will happen soon and I will definitely be caught up if I am not prepared " if she were to be married off with a jerk husband when she turned 18 . It will be her doom .

Clarisse was about to go back to her room when a young man appeared in her view . The blonde man stared fixedly at her .

Clarisse acted timid " g-greetings , your highness " Clarrise curtsied

Lohr stared at Clarisse with darkened face " Sister , if you are wondering about the culprit last night . Don't worry , I'll make sure to capture that bastard who assaulted you "

Clarisse stared at the man who looked at her with concern . She clearly saw him looking at her with darkened face earlier yet now he's showing concern , this man ... Is a manipulator  .

" R-really ? I-i'm really nervous since last night , I'm worried that he'll go back to me again " Clarisse shivered but inwardly wondering about Lohr's words .

Lohr looked at the shivering princess with a satisfaction . A man in black entered Princess' room last night , and the guards immediately chase the man .

But actually , he was the one who paid the man to trespass her room and assault her . He planned on making Clarisse to depend on him .

Change her personality , make connections for him to collect more support for the war of succession . Clarisse's beauty is top notch , getting her to marry a powerful man would lead him to success the throne easier . He could easily sit on the throne easier with her.

He hated the Emperor , he hated Jenson .

The Emperor started showing signs of illness these days. It's because of him poisoning the Emperor . The earlier he succeeds , the earlier he would dominate the whole empire .

" Don't worry Sister , I will kill that man for you " Lohr revealed his bloodlust and sadist face.

Clarisse shivered at his expression " y-yes , Your Highness"

Lohr held the Princess' captivating fave and smiled . " Take care , Sister "

So Lohr is already blackened . He is already a villain , fcc Clarisse is so frustrated. 

" That young one , Is a beast! He is just 14 years old and his hands were already stained with blood "

Several ladies are currently talking with each other , neglecting their duties as servants . They laughed , gossiping around etc.

A braided servant rushed between them . " You girls , it's time for us to clean her highness' room.  What are you lazying around?" Isha frowned

The maids turned their heads upon the braided maid simultaneously . They looked at her with disdain " why should we clean that dumb princess' room? You go and clean it yourself , we don't need to bother ourselves with that dumb adopted "

Isha frowned " watch your mouth Iyel "

" You bitxh back off! "

Isha growled , frustrated at the maid's attitude . Princess Clarisse is still a princess . That attitude of them is cancerous in this castle . I need to report this to her highness .

Clarisse is currently sipping on a cup of tea in the balcony , gazing at the distant mountains green environment .

Isha suddenly rushed in and kneeled down in front of the Princess .

" What's bothering you , Isha " Clarisse calmly said . She put down the cup of tea on the circular table and crossed her legs and arms , emitting a demeanor that of a dominant woman .

Isha suddenly felt pressured at the Princess' gaze . Ever since the Princess lost her memories , her highness' atmosphere changed unto a dominant one . She usually just felt this from the Emperor , now the Princess emitted it just by crossing her legs . She suddenly wants to worship her .

" Your Highness , I came here to report the doings of my fellow maids . At this time , they should have start cleaning your room yet they neglected their duties . I demanded them to head here but they shooed me off and even spoke blasphemous words towards you your highness!"

Isha suddenly felt the atmosphere tensified . Oh goodness , just what have I done .

" Hmmm... "

Isha sweated a buckets of sweat . " You have done well this time , Isha "

"Y-yes Your Highness "

Clarisse started assessing her situation again . Her life here in the castle were filled with difficulties , such as the situation right now . Because of her reputation as a dumb princess , many servants find it unspecial to treat her like a real princess . She's an adopted one too , if her reputation did not changed, then they would not heed her orders or requests in the future .

Butlers , head maids , imperial chefs , and knights .

If she could dominate them then utilizing her authority she wouldn't encounter more obstacles.  Clarisse Winston was an all-rounder genuis in her previous life , she could use her wisdom and skills here in this world .

Modern knowledge , that's her advantage .

He and his aide walk out from his study after finishing his management . His duties as a crown prince couldn't be belittled , after his paperworks he needs to train daily horseback riding , hunting , managing the sovereign , swordsmanship , concerning himself in the public affairs and stakeholders .

" He does not deserve to become an Emperor , your highness . "

" Oh? I know what you are thinking . But to become an Emperor , one needs strength first . He does qualified in that area , in the era of feudalism . Strong reigned over the weak , A weak Emperor is a waste for a good Empire .   Even if he is the child from the concubine , he still has the title of a prince . His Imperial Majesty raised us princes with a motto of prove your worth amd were still worthless in the eyes of His Imperial Majesty . To become qualified to success his throne , I need to spread my strength first before i concern myself with His Highness Lohr's competition . "

Jenson suddenly stopped her tracks and behold the building located at the left side where the dumb princess entered with her servant . He knitted her brows wondering why the dumb princess would enter a library .

" Check what's she doing "

" Yes , your Highness " Kyle immediately followed the Princess and entered the library .

After a few minutes , Kyle returned with a dumb look on his face . Seeing his expression , Jenson arc up his brows .

" Your Highness , Her highness Clarrise is currently reading the geography of the empire , history , medicine , military , and the contract familiar . " Kiel's mouth twitched

" Her tutor already educated her regarding that object . Yet why did she decided to read those books again. "  Jenson arc up his brows , wondering the Princess' movements .

" This servant does not know too , your highness "

Jenson touched his chin . " She's really dumb , a dumb needs to read a topic twice of that a normal . Forget it , let's go "

The Princess doesn't know that she's been criticized by the Crown Prince again . After she finished reading the books , she pondered about the strangeness of the novel world .

This world has a thing called contract familiar . When a person was born , a familiar then would be contracted from the familiar world . It will fall in slumber during infancy , and will only be awakened when one reached the year of 14 .

Princess Clarisse is already 14 and 6 months this time and she has yet to be awakened . This was also one of the reason she was entitled dumb because she couldn't awaken her familiar .

Prince Lohr is already 14 last month and already awakened his familiar .

The talentless Clarisse was disdained because of this .

" Bullsh*t , that's bulls*they are so judgemental! " Clarisse whispered .

In order to determine wether one was awakened is to check the ring finger if there's a mark that symbolizes one's familiar .

Clarisse does not have one . So unfortunate bullsh*t .

" Hmm , they have not discovered microbiology yet and still haven't produced any drugs like penicillin . People here sure must have been struggling to survive . Survival rate ... Hmm low "

" How did knights survive until today? Doctors right now must be dumb to not know proper hygiene right? Just look at this , the rate which a child could survive until 6 years old is so low . "

" Haish , the hell are these things? Pandemic ... Hoo my goodness , this is like covid-19 in my era before "

" Aaah so dumb , so dumb! "

Isha looked at the Princess who's talking foreign language weirdly . Isha couldn't understand a thing or two . ( Her highness , so scary~)

" Oh god , there's a chemical substance here ! They don't know how to utilize chemical properly! Oh my sulfuric acid , aaaah! Why are you using those things for that . They are the most foundation in the chemical industry from my previous life! Bulls*it , fcc no!... Haha , hahahaha carma! Stupid" 

" This death rate is insane "

Clarisse pondered for a moment . Should she make drugs? Most of the physicians here are using herbs as medicine and she ain't a Chinese traditional doctor from her past life . She's a scientist ... of course she could concoct herbs using a culdron if she wants .
