As Ava was walking down the street, she got chills in her back. No, it must just be her imagination. But then she heard footsteps. “Thump, thump, thump…” She was really scared. Then the footsteps got closer and closer every moment. She looked back. There was no one. It was already night, that made her scared even more. “Hello?!” Ava yelled. There was no response. She yelled again. There was still no response. Now she was at her limit, she started to run. “Ava, don't run it's me!”

Ava ignored the voice and kept running. She turned to the right then to the left. Ava could still hear footsteps. “Ava!!!” Ava thought: \*\*How does this person know my name?! It's a kidnapper!! Run Ava! Run!\*\* She turned once more, but it was a dead end. “Ava!” She was really terrified. Ava started climbing over the fence, but didn't have enough strength. It was a girl that came. Ava closed her eyes tightly and said: “PLEASE DON’T HURT ME!!! I BEG YOU!!” Ava was really scared and didn't move at all.

“Ava!! What are you doing?!” The girl said calmly. Ava slowly starts to open her eyes. She saw that it was Patricia! She started to calm down. “By any chance, did you see any bad guys?” Ava asked, waiting for her reaction. “Yeah, there were these guys in a car. I think they were following you, they were really sketchy. But once I was here, they started driving away. Good thing I was here. You were running really fast. You seem very scared. Are you okay?” Patricia answered. Ava’s whole body started shaking, her throat was dry. Ava felt like she was turning into stone, her eyes were wide open, but did not dare to say a thing.

“Ava?!” Patricia said worried.

“I-I’..m f..i-ine, can you walk with me?” Ava stammered.

“Next time, don't walk home alone. Got it!?”

“O-Ok…” Ava said while shaking.

Patricia walked with Ava to her house. On the way, they talked about cheerful and happier things and soon Ava’s body started to calm down. Finally they reached her house.

“WOW! THIS IS YOUR HOUSE!?”

This is her house:

Patricia said in awe. “Yeah…” Ava said while shrugging her shoulders.

“Okay, I won't bother you anymore, bye!” Patricia said.

“Bye and thanks a lot, that talking made me feel a lot better.”

“Hey hey, we're friends right? That's what friends do!”

“Yeah, you're right, bye!”

They said goodbye to each other and went their own ways. When Ava entered the house, her parents were worried. They started to ask questions, but Ava told them the whole story. They were shocked and never let Ava go home at night alone. After that, she went upstairs. Ava opened the window, when she overheard…

“Mission complete boss.”

“Good.”

“She was very terrified, we can use her for your revenge.”

“That is smart, I didn't expect that girl to be weak.”

“Mr. Jones, have a good night.”

\*\*Mr. Jones?! Is that my father or my uncle?”\*\*

“I can use her for my revenge, thank you Lightning.”

\*\*I should be more careful in the future. \(Yawns\) Let's go to sleep. This is really fishy, who is it that wants revenge on my family? Who is Lightning?\*\*

“She is really stupid, perfect for bait. One day, you and your family will be no more.”
