David running through the Streets in a heavy downpour in LA. Gang of thugs chasing him and yelling his name "David you son of ***** stop right there".He was running continuously to escape from them.

After 10 mins of running here and there just to escape from them, he stopped abruptly and was surprised to see a girl in the front sitting alone and sobbing.

He called her " RIYA!!!...."

Riya turned and was stunned seeing David there.

David: You look miserable.

Someone screaming his name in anger was heard.

Before Riya could say anything, David caught her hand and started running.

Riya: What's going on David? Who are they?

He didn't answer and was focused to find a place to hide.

Riya: Answer me, David!!

David: I will but not now. Now stop asking me questions.

( After 2 mins of running )

David: That looks perfect hiding spot.

He found a construction site and went inside and hid behind bricks. He looked at Riya and found her in a more terrible state. She was cold like ice and was out of breath.

Riya: I can't...

He kept his finger on her lip.

David: Shhhh!!! Nothing will happen to you when I am there.

He removed his jacket and covered her with that and pulled her n hugged her. He could feel her heartbeat faster.

Voice heard " it seems he escaped"..and the sound fades.

David continuously stares at her who already lost consciousness in his arms. He stroked her cheeks.

David: I missed you so much.

He kissed her forehead.

After some time he carried her to his apartment.

(He had a small rented Apartment that was fully messy, n outmoded )

He gently laid her down on his small bed n covered her up with a blanket and turned on the heater. He sits on the floor and watches her holding her hands. He recollects the moment when he saw her for the first time.

*********Nine years back********

In New York

St. Jones High School

14th June on the school campus

he was running late to class and bumped into her and both fell.

David: Are you bli...stopped midway suddenly and lost in her eyes.

Girl: I am so sorry. I didn't see you. Did you hurt yourself?

David: No I am not hurt but your knee is. (There was a small scratch and little blood was coming out. He took his napkin from his pocket and covered her small wound) your accent is different. You look new student here and you are not from here right?

Girl: Oh thank you so much. It seems I bumped into a smart boy. Yes, you are right. Hi, I am Riya.

David: Hi I am David. Are you fine? This wound is just a small scratch still I temporarily covered it with my handkerchief. Put a bandage from the medical room on it to avoid infection. ok?

Riya: I am lost on this big campus. I can't find my class and went to the wrong building. Now you want me to find a medical room? ( laughing softly)

David: (She looks so cute with that face and her sparkling eyes and her long black hair. Wow she is just so pretty .)Alright, I will help you. Which classroom?

Riya: Grade 11 section A

David: Oh great! follow me. We are in the same classroom. ( don't know why but I felt happy to know that we are in the same classroom.)

Teacher: You are not allowed inside David. You are 15 mins late. Stand outside class. Who is this girl along with you?

Riya gives an application to the Teacher.

Teacher: Oh so you are the new student in this class. I am Jeff. I will be your science teacher.

Please introduce yourself, dear.

Riya: Yes Sir. But before that, I was lost and went to the wrong building and got hurt (pointing towards her knee) David helped me. So we were late. So can excuse him from his punishment?

Teacher: Come inside David (shouted). You are saved today because of her.

David looked at her n she winked at him.

(His heart flutter). He instantly moves to his desk.

Teacher: Ok. Introduce your self now.

Riya nodded her head and stood in front of her class.

Riya: Hello everyone, Myself Riya Sharma. I am from India. My father got transferred here so we shifted here along with him.

Welcome Riya (class students shouting and welcomed her )

Teacher: Welcome to a new beginning. Feel free to ask me or your classmates if you have any difficulties. Take a seat there.

Early morning

David woke up and found out he slept thinking how they met for the first time. Riya still sleeping like a baby. He kissed her forehead and cheeks and staring her. After some time he got up and made coffee for him. He knows she likes morning tea so makes tea for her n placed it near the bed.

Then he dropped a steel vessel on the floor which made much sound. She got up n was startled.

David:(cold) Get up now. Tea is kept there if u want to drink you can or else throw it.

Riya: No, I want tea. (takes a sip from tea)

Wow, David your tea always taste special. I love it and missed this a lot. Back you used to...

David: ( Damm, Please don't say like that. Don't smile like that and even bite your lips. I feel to kiss your lips hard. Oh God, why she is this much cute and expressive?..* Control his face expression and interrupts her.)What were you doing there yesterday alone in the streets?

Why are you in LA? Do You know how dangerous it is?

Riya: What's with that attitude are you still mad at me for what happened in past?

David: You answer my question.

Riya: No, Why those thugs running after you?

David: It's none of your business ( shouted).

Riya flinched and tears rolled on her cheeks and looking down.

Riya: I am sorry. I don't want to disturb you. I will leave your place now only.

David: ( Oh shit, I didn't mean that. This girl is making me angry. I won't leave her unless she tells me why she is here.)

She gets up in hurry n moves to the door. He caught her hand and pushed her on the bed. Griping her hand tight n staring at her intensely.

Riya: Ahhhhh..you are hurting me.

David: Do u think you can leave like that?
