This is a small introduction for the main characters. Now lets begin the story of Love...!..?

SATURDAY:

Returning home in the early afternoon from her half day of work Freya throws herself onto her bed. Grabbing a pillow Freya covers her face with the pillow. Silence and stillness suddenly Freya presses the pillow against her face playfully pretending to suffocate herself. Freya  squirms and then smiles a little she thinks to herself (I'm dumb.) Slowly sitting up (I'm hungry.) Freya gets off her bed and heads to the kitchen. " And of course there's nothing to eat." Annoyed Freya looks in her fridge for any food she can find, but none. She goes and changes her clothes into something comfortable having to go and venture her lazy self to get some food. Holding up a fist as if she's accepting a challenge " Okay here I go, for the greater good that is food." Carefully locking up Freya says good bye to her apartment " Good bye house."

(I think I'll walk to the store today) Heading to the grocery store Freya's face gets all squinty due to the brightness of the sunshine. "The sun is so happy today. Shinning everywhere making this feel warmth and positiveness.........blah." (my face hurts). Freya trys to adjusts to the sunshine to help her face relax.

Ring tone of the song 'Fly me to the Moon.' starts. Freya slowly reaches for her cell phone she enjoys the song and sings along, finally answering.

Freya "Hello?"

John "Hi Freya, what are you doing?"

Freya "Hi John, I'm headed to the store."

John "Out of food again?"

Freya ".......Maybe."

John " Sure...So are you going to join us tonight?"

Freya " Maybe it depends on what game you guys choose. But I will be on, I have been itching to fight all week."

John "Ha ha ha alright. I hope you join. Last time was fun, also I might join in beating people up."

Freya " Yay! Well I'm at the store now. Do you want me to get you anything?"

John "Yes please, my usual snacks would be great. Do you want me to pick you up from the store?"

Freya "Ah...no it's okay. Sadly I need to get my dose of sun for the week. I'll see you at the apartment."

John (chuckles)"Right, you vampire. Hey, don't turn into dust."

Freya " Oh ha ha, see you later John."

John "See you later."

Call ended

Inside the store Freya takes her time looking around and getting the snacks. Looking at her basket she sees that it's already half full. Wondering what she else she needs she thinks, but suddenly the feeling of being watched. Alerted Freya looks around but there is no one around. Remembering (Right I need to get John something sweet from the bakery.) Walking down the isle Freya hears something familar it makes her slowly come to a stop. "Marco!" Standing there a bit confused Freya stands stills for a moments waiting. (Did i just hear Marco?) "Marco!" The sound is moving away (no it cant be...could it?) Freya starts walking towards the sound. "Marco!" ............Hesitant Freya replies "Pollo!?"

"Marco."

"Pollo." Freya getting excited she begins to walk faster and look for the source.

"Marco."

"Pollo." Finally the sound is closer Freya looks around.

"Marco." There Freya find the person who's it is. Excited she drops her basket and runs down the isle to the person who is her old best friend from high school. "Pollo!" Giving him a jump hug he catches her and hugs her back.

Freya " Ash you big dork!" smiling

Ash "Hi Freya. its been so long since I've seen you." Ash squeezes her a little and lets her down and takes a step back and looks at her "Freya you changed. Your hair is so long, your wearing make-up, and you lost some weight. You look good."

Freya chuckles a little "well it has been many moons since high school. The weight is not by much." Turning around and goes to pick up her basket.

Ash follows "Ha ha well it really has been many moons since high school. You did lose quite a bit." Looking at Freya

Freya smiling "Maybe just a little different. It really is nice to see you Ash, I'm happy. Did you just move here?"

Ash "Yes, I moved here about a week ago. I also got a job at a high school as a English teacher."

Both Freya and Ash slowly start to walk around the store.

Freya "That's great Ash, which high school did you get the job at?"

Ash "Ahh Raven High School."

Freya " No way! That's the high school I work at as the school physician."

Ash "A....nurse..? Aren't you a doctor? Why are you working at a high school as a nurse?"

Freya "Hmm...I well its because of a selfish reason." smiles

Ash chuckles "Okay, well this is great we will be colleagues."

Freya "Yeah this should be nice."

Both stopping at the bakery department. Looking and smiling at each other enjoying their reunion.

"ASH! There you are. I've walked around this store twice to find you. Who is this?" This stranger casually and comfortably walks up to Ash holding onto his arm as she looks at Freya.

Ash "Merry. This is Freya she is an old high school friend. Sorry for disappearing. I got caught up talking to Freya."

Merry obviously making her statement that Ash is hers "I see."

Silence falls among the three as they stand there.

Merry "Well nice to meet you Freya. I'm Ash's girlfriend."

Ash "Oh right, my bad."

Freya "Well it was very nice to seeing you again, but I'm sure you two want to get going."

Merry "Yes I'm ready to leave, Ash?"

Ash smiles a little "Alright. It was nice seeing you Freya. Ill see you later."

Freya "Bye Ash, Merry drive safe."

Both Ash and Merry walk away. Ash waves bye and Merry tugs him as to hurry. Freya smiles watching them leave. Finally both out of site Freya turns around and goes to the baked goods. Looking through the sweets trying to find the snack John would want. A sad sweet smile comes to Freya's face (Gosh he's still so handsome....His girlfriend is pretty too) softly lets out a chuckle (Looks like she doesn't like me already. Well that's not new nor the first time one of his girlfriends dislikes me) sighs (I Just need to be alert just encase she tries to do something) Finishing up at the store Freya starts her sun filled walk home.

Saturday (continued)

Standing outside the store Freya is pleasantly surprised to the welcoming cover from the grey clouds. Taking a deep breath she enjoys the smell of water and wet dirt. " Its going to rain. I could use a nice walk in the rain." After fixing her bags to make sure the stuff doesn't get wet for when it rains she begins to walk home. Just five minutes from the store she hears a Beep Beep. Turning around Freya shes a Jeep and Ash sitting the drivers seat. A bit confused Freya stands there as Ash parks his jeep on the side street and goes towards Freya. Ash smiles and grabs her bags.

Ash "Let me give you a ride Freya."

Freya looks at the Jeep and seeing that its only him "Are you sure?"

Ash "Of course, come on."

Freya "Oh okay." Freya goes and gets in the Jeep as Ash opens the passenger door for her. Ash puts the bags inside the Jeep and gets in the driver seat.

Ash "Buckle up"

Freya "Oh right."

Both buckled up and Ash drives.

Ash "It's a good thing I came back this way."

Freya "Yeah lucky thing. Umm...Where's Merry?"

Ash "I dropped her off at her place."

Freya "You two don't live together?"

Ash a bit uncomfortable saying "Uhh she's going to be moving in with me. She finishing with her packing but for tonight she's going to be going out with her friends. I'm going to meet up with her later."

Freya "I see. How nice, you'll be living together."

Ash "Yeah.."

Freya "You kinda don't seem happy about this."

Ash "To be honest i think it's to soon. But there's an issue with her roommate. So this is convenient I guess."

Freya "That's a drag but I hope everything turns out okay. Oh just ahead that's my apartment complex."

Ash pulls into the parking lot. Suddenly Ash turns to Freya looking at her. Freya surprised looking back at him. Something pressed against her face. Ash is wiping the rain off of Freya's face with what looks like a shirt. Noticing it a shirt Freya smells it as it passes her nose (his shirt smells so nice)

Ash "Don't worry its clean."

Chuckles being snapped back to her senses "It better be.....I..I can do it."

Ash smiling "To late finished."

Freya "Thank you Ash and thank you for the ride back to my apartment. I should head up now." Gathering her things."You better get going and get ready or you'll be late for your thingy."

Arms wrap around Freya suddenly. Caught off guard Freya stays still.

Ash softly speaks very close to Freya's ear "It really is good to see you. I missed you Freya."

Blushing Freya not knowing what to do just stays still as Ash continues to hold her. After awhile Ash slowly lets go.

Ash "I better get going."

Freya "Oh yeah right." Freya starts to get out of the Jeep. "Thank you again Ash." Turning around to Ash to say good bye. Smiling and taking a step back, closing the door and waving as Ash leaves. (I missed you too Ash). Turning around to head inside Freya see's a familiar face leaning on and waiting by his car.

Freya "Hello John."

John "Freya."

Freya "Going somewhere? Do you want me to keep your snacks until you come back?"

John walks up to Freya and takes the bags "I was going to go get you when because of the rain. But it seems that you got a ride."

Freya "You saw?"

John "Yeah..A friend?"

Freya starts to walk to her apartment and John follows "Yes an old one from High School."

John "Old boyfriend?"

Freya "No" chuckles "He used to be my best friend."

John "You two seem close."

Freya "We used to be, but naturally it's different now. " Unlocking her apartment door and gesturing a invite for John to enter her apartment.

John walks into the apartment and goes to the kitchen to put down the grocery bags "Seems like he cares about you or likes you."

Freya pushing John to sit at the table and goes back to the grocery bags to unpack the stuff "No he was probably just feeling nostalgic. It has been years since we have seen each other."

"Maybe" John looking at Freya as she moves around the kitchen not believe that. that hug was because of nostalgic reasons.

Freya "He has a girlfriend." Softly speaks "She's very pretty."

John "Oh really, that pretty?"

Freya starts making some tea and preps John's dessert "Yeah she is." sighs a little "Looks like I'll have to be on guard." Freya looks at John before he can ask why."Ash, my friend. His girlfriends have always come to dislike me. Because of how close we were." Cringes a little and smiles "Those were some dark times but fun too." Places the tea and dessert in front of John.

John "Thank you." happily enjoying his sweets. Freya smiles and sits across from him. "Are you joining tonight Freya."

Freya "No. I think I'm just going to fight tonight."

John "Alright I'll join you after I play a couple of matches with the those guys."

Freya "Okay. Sounds like fun." handing John a napkin because of the whip cream from his dessert stuck to his face. "Messy." softly smiling but stops "You better get going before Holly come by and freaks out on you."

John suddenly gets up and grabs his stuff, snacks included "Crap! Right I totally forgot she's coming over today. Shoot I got to go. Thank you for the tea and snack Freya." Heading out the apartment "I'll pay for the snacks next time. Bye see you online later." Closing the door.

Freya "Bye John."

Freya straightens up the table and kitchen, after she goes and locks her front door. Sitting on the couch turning on the TV. Looks at her watch (who it's 7pm) slowly sliding down into a laying position on the couch staring at the TV random images of Ash from then and now pop up in Freya's mind. "Hmm...I wonder why he's popping up. I thought I was crushing on John............I guess you don't completely forget your first love do you." Sitting up suddenly "Nonsense! No time for that. I should play so I don't get annoyed. Let's beat some people up." Changing her mood and attitude Freya begins her night of snacking, playing video games and relaxation.

Sunday

Very messy hair. black smudged rings of make-up around the eyes and a lovely site of miss matched pajamas's. This glorious image is that of Freya still cuddling her pillows and sleeping soundly.

-Knock, Knock, Knock-

" Ugh....nooo please go away I'm dreaming." Grumpy Freya covers her face with a pillow.

-Knock, Knock, Knock- Cranky Freya reluctantly gets up to answer the door. Not noticing the silliness of her appearance.

-Knock, Knock- " I'm coming!...." mumbling some rude words to herself. -Opening the door-

"Pfft! My......don't you look lovely." John trying to hold back his giggles as he looks at Freya.

Freya looking at John blinking trying to focus her vision, she turns around and heads to the couch. John follows Freya to the living room watching her as she tries to wake up. Freya slumping on the couch just completely lazy.

Freya yawning " What's up?"

John " Well good afternoon Freya. I brought you food." placing a bag of deliciousness on the coffee table.

Freya " Yay, food!" Happily takes the food and begins to eat.

John " Sorry for not joining last night. Something came up with Holly."

Taking her last bite and sits up straight finally fully awake. She looks down and sees her mismatched pajamas. She shakes her head to herself. " It's okay John. The food was a good make up for lying to me." Smirking a little getting up and heads to the restroom to freshen up. " What the?!" Finally seeing what she looks like and not realizing why John being a bit silly. After awhile and after cleaning herself up Freya heads back to the living room. Heading straight to John and flicks his forehead. " You should have told me John, you butt." Referring to the hideousness that was her face.

John "Ha ha ha! You were cranky. It would have been dangerous."

Freya sits down pouting a little but agrees with John about the danger. " So you ditched me for some sexy time huh?"

Blushing and looking away John " Not exactly, that just happened. Wait how did you know about the ....?"

Freya " Duh John I'm your neighbor. Plus when Holly's drunk shes not very subtle with her noise."

John embarrassed " Sorry about that."

Freya quietly giggles (Johns so cute when hes embarrassed) " Ha ha ha it's okay John. Besides I didn't hear much. I had my headset on." Giving John a thumbs up.

Stills blushing from embarrassment " Oh okay I better get going I have some freelance work. I wanted to say sorry about last night and drop off the food."

Freya " Thank you John for the food and of course I accept your apology. Be safe and careful John." Standing up and leads John to the door. At the door Freya and John say bye.

Smiling sweetly " See you later Freya." John turns and walks away.

Standing at the door Freya cant help but watch John walk away. Looking at John's gorgeous, strong back and tall lean muscular body. Biting her lip Freya snaps out of it (I'm pathetic. Looking at someone else's boyfriend.) Turning around and closing the door. Plopping down on the couch and lets out a big sigh. " I should do something, maybe.Probably not its my weekend."

-Ring, ring, ring-

-Beep-

" Hello?... Yes this is she...Right now?.........Alright I'll be there within the hour."

-Beep call ended-

Freya " So much for a lazy weekend. Well better get ready and head out."

Walking up to a small clinic building, Freya puts her hair up. People watches as she passes but with friendly and welcoming smiles. Going behind the desk Freya puts on her white coat with a very cute name tag that was obviously made by children. Picking up paper and making sure everything is in order the nurse at the desk updates Freya about the day. After talking with the nurse and walks forward calling out a name " Steven Blue."

A little boy that's holding onto what seems to be his sisters, slowly stands up. Freya watching and moves toward that child noticing his condition. The little girl holding the little boy up with care. Standing in front of children they look up at Freya's expressionless face. Freya kneels down to talk to the children. " Hello I'm Dr. Way, but you can call me Freya if you like."

The little boy struggling to stand up and hold onto the little girl. Suddenly the little boy begins to fall, the girl panics and tries to catch him. Freya quickly and gently grabbing and picking up the boy. Holding him with care Freya stands up and begins to walk to a room. The little girl standing there anxious watching and wanting to follow.

Freya " Come along Steven's sister. Quickly."

Surprised but quickly follows behind Freya.

Laying Steven on a bed and carefully hooks him up to and IV. Steven sleeps as Freya carefully examines him. Upset with what she discovers ( what the heck happened to these kids) Freya finishes cleaning Steven and making him comfortable. Standing next to the bed Steven's sister watches worried and sad. Freya steps out of the room and comes back with a bag and some clothes. Putting the clothes on the couch and brings the side table to Steven's sister and taking out the contents in the bag putting them on the table.

Freya " What is your name?"

Scared and nervous the little girl answers " Sarah ma'am."

Freya " How are you feeling? And Please tell the truth Sarah."

Sarah looks down at the floor " I...I...uh well...I'm..."

Freya patiently waits as Sarah tries to speak. Freya grabs a chair and sits in front of Sarah.

Sarah " I'm...hungry...my arm hurts..."

Freya " And?"

Sarah " I have a cut...on my shoulder."

Freya " Okay Sarah let me treat your wounds and then we'll eat something."

Sarah stares at the food on the little wanting to eat but she looks at her brother.

Freya assures her " Don't worry I got food for your brother too. He can eat when he wakes up."

Sarah " Thank you doctor."

Freya smiles softly " Okay let me take a look at your wounds." Freya treats Sarah's wounds carefully (my goodness what happened? Bruises, cuts, and good sized bumped on her head. Geez). Both eat after the treatment.

Freya " Sarah does your head hurt?"

Sarah " No ma'am."

( It's such a good and lucky thing they came here. Steven would have gotten much worse if it was any later.) Freya looks at Steven who's still asleep and looking less pale. ( Good his body is taking the medication well.)

Looking at Sarah Freya takes a deep breath ( It's time to get to the bottom of these injuries.)

Freya " Alright Sarah I think it's time to tell me what's going on. Please take your time."

Sarah nervous " Well I get in trouble?"

Freya " No Sarah, you both won't be in trouble. From what I can see someone did this to you both."

Sarah " Yes...it was...my mom's boyfriend."

Freya " Is this normal for the two of you?"

Sarah " Only when mama goes out of town for work."

Freya " Okay Sarah tell me what happened that got you two here."

Sarah looks at the floor feeling nervous and a bit scared. She takes a deep breath before starting. " We came home from school Wednesday no one was home. Mommy was already gone for work. Mommy's boyfriend doesn't come back until 7pm. We were eating our dinner but he came back drunk. He yelled for food and alcohol. He kept yelling even when I got him what he wanted. I took Steven to my room and locked the door but he followed us. Then he started to beat us. He was hitting Steven and was going to kick him. I tried to protect him so I got kicked on the arm." Sarah trying to stay strong holding her tears back she continues. " Then he grabbed my shirt and threw me against the wall. I hit something sharp when I hit the wall. He after Steven again, I saw him yank Stevens arm and Steven screamed and cried begging him to let go. He just laughed then slapped Steven hard. I grabbed my lamp and hit his head. I grabbed Steven and we ran." Sarah quietly started crying and trembling from remembering what happened. Freya gently holds Sarah's hand. Sarah suddenly lets all her tears and emotions out crying. " I was so scared." Sarah holds onto Freya's arm . Freya wraps her arms around Sarah and gently holds her as she cries. After awhile Sarah calms down still holding onto Freya. Freya wipes her face.

Freya " Sarah, thank you for being brave. Thank you for protecting your brother, thank you for coming here. The two of you can stay here until your mother comes back. When is she supposed to be back?"

Sarah squeezes Freya a little " Monday morning." sounding very tried.

Freya " Okay Sarah, I'll bring some clothes for the two of you."

Sarah " Thank you Freya." Slowly falling asleep in Freya's arms.

Freya " Oh she fell asleep." Freya carries Sarah to the little couch in the room and covers her with a blanket. Turning around " Hello Steven. Did you sleep well?"

Sitting up in the bed Steven straightens himself up " Yes ma'am..." Looks around for his sister, sees her laying on the couch sleeping and he relaxes.

Freya " Are you hungry?"

Steven " Yes ma'am."

Freya prepares the food for Steven and sits beside him. Steven who's very hungry eats forcefully and quickly. "Slow down you'll hurt your tummy."

Steven slows down and looks at Freya " Do we have to go back?"  a sad look comes across Stevens face.

Freya " No Steven. The two of you will be staying here until your mother comes back."

Steven " Thank you."

Freya " You should thank your sister. I'm sure that would make her happy."

Steven looks at his sister. He almost cries but quickly wipes his eyes and eats. A look of conformation and determination come across his face.

Freya smiles understanding the moment and pats his head softly. " Okay Steven you have to stay in bed to get better. You should let your sister sleep. I'll bring some thing to keep you entertained. Your shoulder and upper arm will be sore so don't move it too much. I have to do my patient rounds and it's also very late you should get some more rest. The nurses will help you if you need anything. Don't be scared to ask." Freya gets up and stops at the door. " Relax both of your safe."

Freya at the nurses stations explain a settle situation for the Blue children. Then finishes the rest of her doctor duties. Freya then collects the items she asked for from the nurses station and heads but to the Blue children's room. Stopping at the door looking through the little window Freya sees a very sweet moment between Steven and Sarah. Steven standing next to his sister as she sleeps holding her hand. Steven then leans over Sarah and kisses her forehead. Steven then gets back on the bed.

(That was cute) Freya goes into the room, stands by Steven's bed. Steven looks at Freya. " I got some stuff for the two of you to entertain yourselves so you don't get to bored. Papers, pencils, crayons and a tablet to watch stuff."

Steven smiles at the things that Freya brought. " Thank you ma'am."

Freya " Your welcome. I have to go now. Remember what I said about your arm."

Steven " Yes ma'am."

Freya " Alright Steven I'll be back tomorrow.

Steven looks a little bit worried

Freya " Don't worry. I'll take care of everything you two are safe."

Steven "...Okay."

Freya " Goodnight Steven."

Steven " Goodnight ma'am."

Freya smiles and makes sure Steven and Sarah are comfortable before leaving. Outside of the room (I feel so old. No ones ever called me ma'am so much. But it is kinda nice and cute coming from cute kids.) Freya finishes her work at the clinic and heads home.
