Life is what you would call ordinary here in drague, wake up go to school and for some kids part time job. That's how life went on here nothing new, always the same old same old. I came to find this town of mine ordinary, old, and most of all dull nothing really happens besides a few petty crimes here and there. That was all until we had a transfer student, it was rare for someone to transfer here but someone did and that person starts today. " everyone in theire seats" Mr. Dayn said as he came in the room, whole class sits and stares at the door waiting for the transfer to come in "I would like to introduce a new addition to our classroom and I hope you guys will be nice and offer them guidance throughout the year" said Mr. Dayn to us. The door opens and walks in is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen smooth long almost silk like black hair her eyes the color black that made it seem as if you were staring at a starless night . She was what I thought to be the most perfect girl I have ever laid my eyes on she was her skin was a little pale but that didn't take away from her beauty I think it just added to it. " so beautiful" I said without realizing, no one heard but that was still a close call, Damien my bestfriend who sits next to me almost heard me and he's not the type to keep quiet when he finds out I Iike someone. First time I had a crush on a girl he went and drew a drawing of me and her on a date and put it up around the whole school. "This is Layla" Mr. Dayn said, I just wonder why we would get a transfer student in this town especially towards the end of the school year, I mean especially here its not like this is one of the best schools. Well either way im glad that such a beautiful girl joined our classroom. " You can take a seat in any of the open seats in the room" Mr. Dayn said to her. She looks around and take a seat not that far from mine but the seat she chose was almost completely by itself. When school ended me and Damien would walk home since we lived only a few houses away from each other thats also how we became friends, as soon I get home I usually just lay in bed or train. I am the sole heir to the dragon slayer clan we are the last of them, my father told me. Our ancestors did a good job at controlling the dragon population so good of a job that all the other clans gave up dragon slaying. The last dragon ever to be seen was over 100 years ago but my family is not giving up knowing one day dragon's will come again. No one know's we are still around we are a thing of legend since this town was saved by my great great grandfather. Only me and my parent's have this secret not even my younger sister know's about it. Night fell upon us and I was in my room and suddenly the door opens and my dad comes barging in and says "son it's time, we've been waiting for this moment" there appeared to be a dragon in the village close to our town. I rushed over there as soon as i could and when i got there, what i saw was not something you could simply forget every house and building on fire bodies of people even children burnt almost into charcoal you couldn't even distinguish a difference between the bodies. I couldn't move I thought i was ready for this but never did I think there would be so much destruction. The dragon finished what it started and noticed i was close by it looked over and came flying at a speed unimaginable for a creature so big.This is a dragon I've seen painting but they do not compare to actually seeing one this dragon's whose scales were a crimson red wings that stretched farther than a field and its eyes you could tell it knew what it was doing, this dragon he was enraged. There I am being paled in size comparison I've got to fight but I can't I'm completely frozen. Just then for some reason Layla the transfer student appeared in my head i could only think of what would happen if I didn't do what I've been preparing my whole for life then the dragon would continue on to my town and surely she would be killed along with my friends and family. I drew my sword that my great great grandfather used in his time and there the dragon was standing before me I jumped into the air trying to strike it down and finish is but a dragon is not to be underestimated it. It flung me with one whip of it's tail, it hurt i was thrown as if i was a pebble but i couldn't back down I was the only one who could stop this thing in its track. I ran around it hoping fo find a opening to attack but it seemed to read my movements I had to find its weakness every dragon has one but its unique to every dragon like a fingerprint is to a human. It wouldn't let me observe closely it continued to trash its tail. I've heard dragon's were intelligent creatures and they only wreak havoc after being disturbed but who would anger a beast that most people believe are things of legend. I have to wait for my father to get here, hopefully I can hold on for that much time I'm alot faster than my dad that's why i got here so fast us dragon slayers pass on some of our skills to our children and thats why I'm alot faster then him.
