My name is Addison I am 22 years old and I live with my family. Unfortunately I couldn't go to college so I have to work to a small cafe a few blocks away from my house , both of my parents don't have a job and I have to pay for everything electricity, medicine , my brother's school fees .. everything!

My dad you could say is an alcoholic he constantly drinks and goes out cheating on my mother.

I screamed hoping mom would hear me but my dad said ' she won't hear you she is in a deep sleep and will never wake up !' as he said those words I took my small peeper spray amying directly at his eyes , he fell at his knees so I took the chance and went straight to my room I quickly placed as many heavy objects as possible in front of my bedroom door, I grabbed a large bag and threw a bunch of clothes in it , I also took some clothes my brother had , I couldn't leave him there with this bastard I once called father , I took everything valuable I had and jumped out of my window since our house was on ground level I was running as fast as possible , I went to the police and informed them about what had happened , I also told them that as much I would love to take care of my brother I didn't have the luxury too , so they told me that he is going to a new foster family. After that I went to the school my brother attended to and went to the school principal, I talked to her and told her to inform my brother about what had happened and to give him a letter and a bunch of staff I had for my brother, it was a letter that I wrote and it said that one day I would go and find him , I left him a necklaces that he was beginning me to get him and a photo of him and me at the park. After that I left town hoping to start a better life.
