He is very handsome and charming man. He has a cold aura. And kind of introvert. He had been in a relationship once but it wasn't serious as the girl forced him to be his boyfriend by shedding tears , at that time he was only 17 years old so he just tried it as curiosity was also wobbling around him to see what it feels like to be in a relationship but after that stupid relationship he never looked for any relationship and only focused on his career.

EMILLA JOHNSON - she is the younger sister of kevin. she is good looking girl with cute and nice behavior. she is a very genuine person and has a very open personality. she says things face to face to people whatever she thinks of them and so also a savage girl.

STEVE BANNON

he is the closest person to Kevin his best friend. His personality is funny and clever. He is a loyal friend who has a secret crush on his best friend's sister (EMILLA JOHNSON).

JACK ROY

He is Kriti's adopted brother and also best friend up until now. He loves kriti not as a sister but as a women , he cannot let her go from his side. Kriti's doesn't know about it yet. He was adopted by Kriti's mom when JACK was 7 years old and he knew things about his adoption.

STEPHEN PAUL

He's Kriti's current secretary and assistant.

As kriti was getting ready to leave for a important meeting , assistant Stephen came and told her important stuff about today's meeting.

Assistant Stephen was a joyful man and he always wears a smile on his face and always gave a good vibe to Kriti and that was also one reason of him being one of the closest person to her.

kriti had a habit of taking a vibe check on everyone with her six smart senses and after that only proceed to do work with them.

Unlike everyday today Assistant Stephen's mood was dull a bit and kriti noticed it. She was a bit worried and also confused because she had never seen Stephen like this.

"what's wrong with you today ?" kriti asked with a confused look on her face.

"Me?" stephen asked.

"yeah who else is here ?" kriti said.

"nothing" stephen exclaimed.

"hey tell me , I know something's off " she said.

after a bit of silence Stephen asked ,

"kriti if you had two choices either to listen to your brain or go where your heart lies , what will you do ?"

" it depends on the kind of decision I have to make. like my choices would be different according to the problem. It depends on either its something business related or relationship related." kriti said.

"what if it's about relation and business both ?" stephen asked.

"then I'll go where my heart lies , where I can see myself happy :)" kriti said with a grin on her face .

"okay now hurry up we are getting late!" stephen said picking up files , laptop and , a bag from the table.

"You know really well how to distract and change the topic." kriti said with narrowing her eyes.

"don't think useless things and focus on work ma'am." Stephen said by putting the same smile as before and being all professional again.

"You are so mean Stephen " kriti said mockingly.

After their small conversation they got out of the mansion and a black Bugatti was visible at the main gate.

kriti got excited in front of Stephen like a little child and said ,"This babe arrived , OMG"

Making a knowing look Stephen said "yeah yeah. how's it?"

"dashing!" with her sparkling eyes she exclaimed. They drove to the meeting.

MEANWHILE

At a coffee shop ,

"when will you come home?" Emilla asked annoyed.

"when I'll get all settle by my own and when dad will stop forcing me to join his company." kevin said.

"About you getting settle I can understand bro but about dad stop forcing you , I can't say anything in this matter "

Then there was a silence after that but not awkward because there's nothing awkward between siblings.

suddenly a loud scream filled the silence , they knew who the loud speaker was. LMAO!

Both of them could see a familiar figure standing at the gate of the coffee shop and screaming Kevin's name while struggling to open the gate.

After the help of the waiter he finally made his way to the table where his friends were waiting for him.

"bro I missed you!" he tried to hug Kevin but kevin shrugged his arm off from his shoulders immediately.

" oh please steve you were gone just for a week" kevin said annoyed.

"This crackhead never behaves properly" he said moving towards Emilla.

"I know right " Emilla said with a smile.

"so how are you doing? long time no see ^_^" steve asked returning a smile.

Emilla and Steve were talking to each other completely ignoring Kevin's presence so Kevin simply took his coffee and was going but...

" hey where are you going atleast pay first " Steven said loudly.

"I considered it as your treat of returning here after a week and also ignoring me just now" Kevin said with same pitch.

"aren't you very self centered Kevin?!" Steve said narrowing his eyes.

"is that so buddy ?" kevin said winking to Steve.

"dude let's catch up at my house tomorrow!" steve suggested.

KRITI'S P.O.V

"We would like to invest our labor into some classy work , which must be of high value."

kriti said.

"Then how about we cancel this one and I'll show you what you are looking for?" Mr. Jace (the executive of government construction work) said.

"sure Mr. Jace as long as it worths the labour skills." Assistant Stephen said with assurance.

Jace took kriti and Stephen into a big haul. There were portraits of those brave men and the freedom fighters , as this was not odd because it was a government office. Just a few steps away there was a big round table designed in such a way which looks traditional as well as modern. Kriti was quite impressed and amused by that design.

"here it is." jace said .

he handed over a file to Stephen.

"I would like to see it myself" Kriti said to Stephen forwarding her hands to take the file from Stephen. But Stephen was completely lost ,he didn't even realize that Kriti has already called him so many times. It was like he was in a different world.

"Stephen?" kriti said slightly pushing Stephen.

"huh-?" Stephen got startled by the sudden call.

"what's wrong with you Stephen?"

"um nothing , here" he handed the file to kriti.

kriti was still confused and worried about what is going on with Stephen but she decided to concentrate on the work first, because this deal was handed by the government and also worths a lot.

Both the parties signed the agreement and now it was time to return to the company.

In car,

"Stephen , look if there's anything you want to talk about , I'm here." kriti said.

"actually there is." Stephen said.

"what is it ? You wanna talk it out with me? Is it about Riya?" kriti asked.

"yes " stephen confirmed.

"I'm listening " kriti said.

"As you know Riya has gone to New York just a month ago and now she is asking me to come there with Sherlyn"

"so what's the problem ? Go pay a visit to your wife it's already a month now. I will give you leave and also without cutting your pays so relax with your family." kriti suggested.

"It's not about paying a visit." Stephen said.

"Then what?" kriti asked.

"She wants me to quit the job here and live with her in New York there" stephen said.

"oh" kriti said.

"so this is why you were distracted all the damn time." kriti said.

"Yes , now tell me what should I do?" Stephen asked.

"Do what you want Stephen and even if you are going then keep in touch :)." kriti said with a smile.

"I haven't decided yet and you're throwing me out!" stephen said.

"I'm not throwing you out Stephen, I'm just telling you to do it because we both know where your happiness lies, where your daughters happiness lies. sherlyn needs to be with both of you , she needs the love of both her parents she's just 3 years old , she deserves both of your care. so now or later you have to make the same decision. And you are such a talented guy you'll find a job anywhere it's not a big deal for you." kriti explained.

"I think you're right , but what about you and work here?" stephen asked.

"oh come on Stephen, don't think so much highly of yourselves there are alot of talented people waiting to be my personal assistants and I'm damn sure that they can do whatever you were able to." kriti said mockingly.

"that hurts" stephen said dramatically and then they both laughed.

When they reached office kriti called for Stephen.

"what now?" stephen asked.

"chill dude. I'm still your boss." kriti said.

"yeah yeah what is it?" stephen asked.

"well , I want you to think about what I said and if you're going then find me a good personal assistant and also a bodyguard just like you." kriti siad.

"seems like someone really wants to throw me out." stephen said making sad face.

"You know I'm just helping you with things you can't help yourselves with!" kriti said.

"yeah I understood." stephen said.

"I'll definitely introduce you to a brilliant man." stephen said.

"That means you are going ?" kriti asked as numbness occurred in her eyes.

"yeah, hey are you crying ? " stephen asked worried and shocked.

"what are you thinking why would I cry because of such lame thing! " kriti said turning around and stopping her tears from flowing.

" Aww my baby is crying? " stephen said mockingly.

"who's your baby I'm your boss!" kriti said.

"kriti you know what this is the first time I've ever seen you crying for something in these 4 years." stephen said getting closer to kriti and wiping her tears from his tie.

Kriti wasn't able to hold anymore and also ashamed of crying so she hugged Stephen and Stephen hugged her back with a laugh.

they shared a relationship of best friend. They were there for each other at their hard times, it was natural to cry when such a important person is going to get away from you not for days ,but for months but for years and maybe forever.
