In the last episode of my favorite novel, Cursed Love. My favorite character in the novel, Albert. And the main Protagonist, Cleetus. They stood there and watched Princess Albertine going back to her country after being held as hostage.

"Wait!" screamed Cleetus before Albertine entered the carriage, "Before you go, I want to confess something... I like you," said Cleetus. Albertine stood there and smiled, "I feel the same way too," she responded.

They both held hands and kissed to prove their love for eachother, while Albert just stood still and smiled at them. Just to see you happy is enough for me, I read the line Albert said. "No way! Albert! Aren't you gonna say anything to her!?" said myself. “Maybe Albert is happy, but I'm not! This is so unfair!"

AGHHH!!!

Why would Albert not say anything in the end?

I screamed to myself and woke up in a strange place, "Huh!? Where am I?" I looked around and saw someone came in. "Good morning Lady Elberta!” said the girl in a maid costume as she enters into the room.

"Ahh!! Who are you!?" i screamed. "My Lady, calm down!" said the girl. I stood up and ran to the mirror, Wait.. WHO IS THIS!? I tried to remember what happened, last night I was reading my favorite novel.. how did I end up here? I feel like i know this face..

I started to pull my hair out of frustration, "My Lady! Please stop!" screamed the girl. Oh! It’s that girl from the novel! Her name was Elberta, the villainess of the story.

In the story she was described as a mad woman who is deeply in love with Crown Prince Cleetus. She even tried to poison the main girl Protagonist, Albertine. She accidentally cooked shrimp for Cleetus and Cleetus was allergic to shrimps so he passed out, she got a death penalty for poisoning the prince.

But how did i ended up here? I stared at the girl, if I'm the villainess that means this maid is.. "Alie?" I asked her.

"Yes! What happened to you My Lady?” asked Alie. "You said there was a banquet in the palace," said Alie. "The royal carriage is already waiting infront of the mansion," she continued. A royal carriage?! I looked out from the window, there is a fancy carriage. I guess Alie is right..

"Who will attend the banquet?" I asked to Alie. "You said all the nobles would be there," Alie responded. "Did I?" I mumbled. That means I can meet Albert too! "Okay, let's go there!" I said with a big smile.

When we arrived at the palace, I immediately got lost. I should’ve just asked Alie to company me. I sighed, I should try finding other characters from the novel! I started walking around the corridor.

Eventually i bumped at a tall guy, he has a big scar in his cheek and he is wearing a knight outfit. I know this guy, he's Robert! He's Cleetus most trusted knight.

I looked at him, amazed at how charming he looks! Without knowing, i tried to touch his face. "My Lady, is anything wrong?" he asked. "Just come down here for a sec, i wanna take a good look at your face," i said. He bowed down a little bit and i touched his face.

Woah! This looks so real, if this was an illustration I would give it 5 stars rating! I kept touching his face and smiled, "My Lady, is there something in my face?" asked Robert. "You got a little bit of handsomeness in your cheek," i said. Unexpectedly, Robert frowned.

"Are you making fun of me, My Lady?" he asked. He stepped backwards, "No! Of course not!" I answered. Robert started backing off, "Please dont insult me, My Lady," Robert said.

He started walking away, I immediately pulled his arm. "No! It’s a misunderstanding! I like your scar!" I said. "But everyone think it’s ugly," he said. "A scar is a proof that a knight risked his life in a battle, how can anyone think that’s ugly?" i explained.

He smiled, "Thank you, My Lady." I smiled, "But, what are you doing here, My Lady?” Robert asked. "Oh, actually i got lost here.." I answered. "I don’t know where the banquet is," I continued.

"Well then, let me escort you My Lady," said Robert. He push opened a giant door, inside was a elegant room. I entered the room and walked down the staircase.

As the door to the banquet opens, I stepped down carefully. Woah! This is just like in the movies! I looked around an heard someone talking to me. I turned around and saw Cleetus.

"Are you just going to stand there?" asked Cleetus. "You said this banquet was important for you," Cleetus continued. "Okay!" I answered. I pulled a chair next to Cleetus when he suddenly stopped me.

"No! You’re not sitting next to me," he said. "But why? I’m your fiancée!" I asked. "You’re sitting in a different spot now," Cleetus said. I ignored him and started looking around.

I saw a bottle of liquor on the table, I picked it up. "Hey! What are you doing!?" screamed Cleetus. “You’re not going to pour that on me right?" Cleetus started backing off. “Of course not! It would be a waste," I smiled.

I opened the bottle and started drinking it, I felt my vision blurry. "Albert! Come help me," called Cleetus. Did he said something? That’s when i saw my favorite character, Albert. He smiled at me, "My Lady, do you have a moment?" he asked.

I stood there as if I'm not believing what I see, "Uhh, yes! Absolutely," I answered. "That’s unusual, but whatever. Get it over with," said Cleetus. "Great! Now come follow me," said Albert.

I followed him into a room, "Where is this again?" I asked Albert. "This is Cleetus's office. My Lady please sit down," said Albert as he held my hand politely. I sat down and looked at Albert, "Come sit with me!" I offered.

Albert's face became confused, "No, no My Lady. I'm fine standing here," said Albert. I stood up, "Well, if you’re not sitting neither would I," i said.

Albert's eye widened, "My Lady please! I'm totally okay," Albert tried to convinced me. "No, you don’t understand Albert. You don’t know how sad I am because of you," i said. "My Lady! What do you mean?" asked Albert.

Knock, Knock!

"That must be the medicine! You’re going to be alright My Lady," said Albert. He opened the door and brought back a bottle of medicine. "My Lady, please drink this," Albert said politely.

I looked at Albert, I decided to talk to him for the last time. "Albert, remember this. You cannot give up on your true love!" I kissed him in the cheek. Albert blushed, "My Lady! Please just drink the medicine!" Albert said with a red face.

I took the bottle of medicine and drank it all up. Woah, I feel dizzy.. "Great! Now you’re back to normal, My Lady," Albert said gladly. "We should go back to the banquet," Albert said offering me his hand. I took his hand and walked back to the banquet.

"Finally, remember.. You seat there," said Cleetus. "Yeah, mhm sure!" I answered. He looked confused, "You never listen to me, why would you listen to me now?" asked Cleetus. I ignored his stupid question and sit in the place he pointed at.

When I'm about to sit on the chair, I saw a familiar green hair person. I know him! He's Delbert, I knew him because he was the assistant for my favorite character, Albert.

"Hey! Why are you sitting there?" asked Cleetus. What the.. he asked me to! "I can get a better view of you from this seat," I answered. He smiled, suddenly there’s a trumpet noise.

The Imperial Majesty, The Sun of The Empire!

Woah, this scene is like in the movies! I sat enthusiastically, this is once in a lifetime experience! I was amazed with the grand entrance, after the trumpet stopped. The Emperor stepped inside the room, everyone started bowing.

"Wait! This is the scene where Robert and Delbert getting introduced! Oh, and Princess Albertine will come as a hostage!" I accidentally blurted out everything i knew from the story.

"How do you know something only Crown Prince and I knew?!" asked the Emperor. "Really, I have no choice.." I said the next line of the Emperor. "Really, I have no choice," As predicted, the Emperor really said the same line in the novel.

He looks more angry now, "Let me guess, drag Lady Elberta out of here?" I said carefully. "Yes! Drag Lady Elberta out of here!" said the Emperor. I started backing off, when I accidentally slipped and fell to the ground.

Well, I guess I'll just wake up soon..

I hit the ground really hard, I blinked over and over but I'm still in the banquet room. What the? The guards immediately held my hand, "Wait! Please no! I'm sorry!" I begged infront of the Emperor.

Suddenly, the room became quiet. What the hell? This is really awkward..

Cleetus looked at me with shock, "Did you just say.. Sorry?" he asked. I just remembered, the villainess never apologized in the novel. "Yes! I'm truly sorry.." I said while bowing down infront of the Emperor.

Albert looked at me sadly, "Emperor, please.. My Lady did nothing wrong," Albert said trying to defend me. What a sweet guy.. But this is no time for me to daydream!

"Still, you ignore my dignity as the Emperor?!" screamed the Emperor. He rose from his seat, when suddenly the door for the banquet opened again. Revealing the Duke Beraht, the villainess father.

"How dare you interrupt us!?" said the Emperor. "Your Imperial Majesty, I am here to beg mercy for my daughter," said the Duke. "Well, if you bow on your knees and show some respect. I would grant your wish," said the Emperor.

No way he's gonna do that..

But unexpectedly, the Duke bowed infront of the Emperor. "I didn’t know you were capable to bow down infront of me, well then.. Lady Elberta, I will give you one last chance," the Emperor said.

"Thank you Your Majesty," I said. I tried standing up and my legs felt wobbly. The Duke grabbed my arm and dragged me out from the banquet, "Please dont hurt that body of yours, you even fell down the stairs yesterday," said the Duke.

What happened? I wondered, Did I time wrapped or something? I went back to the carriage and kept thinking what happened to me on the way back home.

After I arrived home, I quickly went upstairs to my bedroom. I jumped on my bed, I started reviewing everything that happened today..

Elberta didn’t come to the banquet, so the Duke doesn’t need to save his daughter. The story is different from the original novel, I started thinking.. Did I messed up the plot?

I shaked my head, my main goal here is to help Albert achieve his love for Princess Albertine! I started writing down all my plans in a book.

"Albert's Love Project"

The goal is to change everything that Cleetus did to Albert. I started to memorize the storyline.

In the original novel, Albertine was amazed of Cleetus because of his strong performance when she almost got harassed in the garden. Cleetus came to the rescue and helped Princess Albertine.

The only thing I need to is to replace Cleetus, so Albert is the one who saved Albertine. I wrote down everything i knew from the novel.

This plan is perfect!

But first thing first, I need to make a good impression infront of everyone. I can’t be known as the villainess anymore. I have to change my attitude so the plot changes too.

I decided to bake cookies that night to share with the characters from the story. I started walking towards the kitchen and started baking cookies.

The next morning...

Alie entered my room, "Good morning, My Lady!" she said energetically. She looked over to the table filled with cookies. "What are these cookies, My Lady?" she asked politely.

"Oh, I made these gifts for Lord Delbert," I said. Getting close to Albert's closest people is important for the plan! "Can you help me pack these, Alie?" I asked her. "Of course, My Lady!" Alie came over and started helping me pack the cookies.

"But My Lady, why all of a sudden bake cookies?" Alie asked. "Oh, it's because I-" I stopped for a moment. "It's because I wanted to make a good impression infront of Cleetus!" I lied.

"Of course it’s about Prince Cleetus!" Alie said happily. After finished packing cookies, I put them in a basket. "Okay, Let’s Go!" I said to Alie.

After arriving in the palace, I started walking around. Trying to find the Statistics Office, the place where Albert worked at.

After walking randomly for 40 minutes, I pushed a random door in the corridor. Ah yes! Lucky me, I found the Statistics Office! I started walking inside, I looked over to the desk. This must be Delbert’s office..

I looked over to his paperwork, Delbert's writing is flawless! But, I noticed a error he made in he documents. I started taking a pen and correcting the errors.

Suddenly, the door opened and someone came in. "Hey! Stop messing the documents!" said the person. I turned around, it was Delbert. "Oh, it’s you My Lady," he said with relieve.

"But, My Lady. Why are you here? These papers are not scratching papers," Delbert said calmly. "I found some errors in the document," I said. "You found an error? How can a noble Lady like you know about these stuffs?" Delbert asked.

Is he underestimating me!?

"I mean, all you do is taking tea parties on the garden," Delbert continued. I couldn’t hold it anymore, i took the documents from his hands. "I'm going to explain it once, so listen to me carefully," I said.

I started explaining the errors, "Are you serious, My Lady?" he asked. I ignored him and continued explaining, as expected he started forget about him being angry.

After explaining, he looked at me with amazed eyes. "Your calculations are so perfect! I heard that you always screw around with the papers, but I guess they were to stupid to recognize your talents!" praised Delbert.

Aw sheesh, he looks so cute when he’s excited..

Delbert handed me a flower, "This is for you My Lady, as a gift," he said. I looked at the flowers, it has a beautiful red color on it.

"Thank You, but if you need me.. I can help you more!” I offered. I have to get close to him, or else my plan would fail! Delbert looked at me confused, "You want to help me more?" he asked.

"Yes!" I answered. "No, no.. My Lady, you’re a high class. If I need anyone, I can just hire them," Delbert explained. "Wait, since when you can hire people?" I asked him.

As far as I know, Delbert is a commoner like Robert.

"My Lady, my back name is Ygrit," Delbert said confidently. I started to remember, "Wait! Ygrit, as if the biggest trading company in the empire!?" I asked. He nodded, "Yes," Delbert answered.

Wow, I didn’t know Delbert have that background..

"My Lady, I have to go back to the main office," Delbert said. "Can I come?” I asked. "Sure," Delbert answered. I followed him outside, and went in to the room next door.

Before we went inside, I stopped Delbert. "Before this, I want you to call me Elberta," I said. "My Lady! Is that Okay?!" asked Delbert. I nodded, "Okay then My Lady," he said shyly. He opened the door revealing a sophisticated office room.

"Where is Lord Albert?” I asked Delbert. "Oh, he is currently taking a break, I will go to my seat," said Delbert politely. I looked down, Ah! I forgot to share the cookies!

"Good morning everyone, you all must be hungry! You can try eating my cookies," I said. Everyone looked at me, "Oh no sorry, Lady," said one of the nobles. "I'm on a strict diet," said the other noble.

I picked up the cookie, "It tasted good though.." I said desperately.

I could hear them whisper,

"She could’ve poisoned the food"

I frowned, just as I about to put down the cookies. Delbert grabbed one of them, "This cookie is delicious, it tasted like the cookies from the High Street Avenue," praise Delbert.

Everyone started to grab the cookies too, I didn’t expect Delbert to help me! I thanked him, "No problem, My Lady," Delbert said.

When the mood started getting better, suddenly the door swung open. Cleetus showed up with Robert, "Seems like everyone is snacking," he said. "Yes, Lady Elberta made the cookies," Delbert answered.

"Wait.. Did you just said, Elberta?!" asked Cleetus. Delbert nodded, "What did that witch baked!?" Cleetus said irritated. "She could’ve poisoned the food!" Cleetus said.

"But everyone eating it is fine, Your Highness," Delbert said. "It could be a poison with delayed effects. Robert, call the wizards from the tower to do a magic test for the cookies," Cleetus ordered.

Robert nodded, he started walking out of the room. "Why would you eat all of these?" asked Cleetus. "You can’t just jump on conclusions!" I said. Suddenly, the door swung open once again.

Revealing a person, that person is.. The Emperor!

"Making such a commotion, who could it be?" he asked. He looked over to me, "No wonder," he said. I felt angry, that bastard!

Robert came back with the wizards, "You may begin the test," said the Emperor. After a few minutes, the results said the cookies were..
