I was begging him not to leave me feeling isolated and scared. I have never thought he would do this to me.

There was never us, Faith.
He said this very easily as if whatever was between us was nothing. It was nothing at all. There was never us, it was just a fling. I meant nothing to him not even a bit.
I stared at him with confusion and hurt in my eyes. His eyes were stoic almost saying nothing. It was never easy to read him.
