Huff! Huff! The sound coming from the wounded girl. Blood trailing down her arms and bottom lip; her legs staggers as they move through the dark forest. Walking turned to running as ball of flames gazed her and hit the trees, burning them to the ground. Loose branches on the ground being snapped by her feet as she dashes through the forest from the army ball of flames pursuing her.
Unable to outrun them all, she summons ice forming a big wall to block the ball of flames. She sighed in relief about to recover a bit of strength, she quickly heard loud movements coming from the left area of her peripheral. Before she could even react, her pursuer knocks her over on the ground.
On her knees she looks at her sister, gleaming orange coming from her pupil; her hair like a blazing fire and her hands carrying flames. Her sleeves scorched by the flames she's carrying and her face formed cracks as if she's a volcano flowing out lava.
"B-Blaze.." Frost utters weakly trying to get up on her feet; tears form in her eyes as she pleads that she's not the one who killed their mother. She immediately knew it was pointless to plead because of the fiery look in her eyes and an odd aura of red emits from her body; Frost had never seen Blaze with this amount of rage in her life.
The unfazed embodiment of flame forms a big ball of fire and tosses it at Frost and instinctively Frost forms out an ice gauntlet on her right arm and blocking the ball of fire not realizing the flame spreading through the ice and explode her arm off and the blast radius caught part of her face.
Frost was hyperventilating, she was losing a lot of blood so with all the strength she had she froze the area where she lost her limb to stop the bleeding. Barely freezing the part of her face that was seared from the blast radius, Frost had no strength left; she was helpless against her sister, she had no choice but to accept her fate.
Looking up at Blaze about to make the finishing blow, Frost closes her tear-filled eyes saying "I love you Blaze" as her last words, awaiting her fate. But suddenly everything stopped, Blaze, Frost and time itself. One split second Frost and Blaze were separated from each other. And Blaze looks around at where she is puzzled.
It was as if she was standing on nothing, but all she could see were clocks everywhere. She could hear every single clock emitting sounds and it echoes lowly. Tick! Tock! Tick! Tock!
Blaze kept her guard up for she thinks it's an enemy. The person finally showing up, Blaze was ready to attack but something for stopping her. The black haired girl with a cyber-like face mask had this peaceful energy coming from her that caused Blaze to not attack.
"Who are you?" Blaze asked.
"My name is Lynx Delá Hornet. I'm the person who's telling you that your sister was not your mom's killer," Lynx replied formally and humbly.
"What do you know?! You don't know what happened!"
"I do. Someone else ambushed your mother and killed her, and unfortunately Frost came at the wrong time only to be accused. I have control of time Blaze, I wouldn't lie to you about this-" Lynx winced in the middle of her sentence, as if she's in pain. "I'm at my limit. Blaze I don't have much time, please..please find me and I promise I'll show you how it really went."
Blaze watched in silence as she's transported back into the forest.
Lynx reaching her limit ends up at a desolate area as she sits by a rock to recover her strength. "I overdid it. B-But I made an oath to do whatever it takes to get everyone out of this world of vengeance...this world of hatred. Even if it cost my life.."
Her eyes slowly close drifting her off to sleep until she started dreaming. Her dream was quite odd, but she barely understood it. It was a green hazardous symbol; the one you'd see on those yellow metal barrels. It was faint but she could hear Meet me... from the symbol.
Time has passed, Lynx made her way back to where she dwells; a military headquarters that she leads. Welcomed by her companions and recruits, she made her way up to the floor where her office is.
"Welcome back Commander."
"Glad to see you back alive and well Commander Hornet ma'am."
"Welcome back Commander Hornet!"
Lynx showed a happy expression as she waved and nodded to each person who greeted her. Passing the training room Lynx stopped hearing one of the sergeants lecturing someone in a loud tone.
"PRIVATE YOU'RE ONLY GONNA GET YOURSELF KILLED IF YOU KEEP FIGHTING LIKE A BRAINLESS BRUTE!!"
Lynx peeked inside seeing Private Glint on the floor with a frustrated look on her face. Private Glint was originally an experiment called Glint HG-2764 but nicknamed "Sami" by Lynx. These two have somewhat of a sisterly bond after Lynx found her through a deep search of a facility when they were pre-teen. Whilst referring to her as Sami, Lynx gave an order to only call her "Private" because of her vendetta against her other counterpart that also took the life of the previous commander and also Lynx's guardian, Nadia Hornet.
Lynx entered the training room, humbly bowed in respect and helped Private up on her feet.
"My apologies for intruding during the training session sergeant," Lynx humbly apologized.
"It's no problem at all Commander. Just been trying hard with Private here; her reckless fighting style is just so hard to get out of her at the moment."
Lynx looked over at Private who's looking down at her feet.
Lynx showed a concerned expression as she hold Private's hand. "Sami, that fighting style needs to change."
"I'm trying Lynx, I'm really am.."
"Want me to help?"
"I guess..yea-I mean..yes please.."
Lynx nodded as the two then got into their position. Lynx gives a signal for Private to land the first attack and immediately she threw her first punch with Lynx dodging it.
"Get more serious Sami, think of me as an enemy right now." Private obeyed clenching her fists tight as she throws more full force punches at Lynx.
Lynx blocked the punches with little effort then caught Private's final punch throwing her down to the floor.
Private winced slightly then got helped back up by Lynx. "When you're fighting an enemy, you have to fight tactically and strategically. Study the offense and defense, strategize how to get around the enemy-"
"I got it. Child's play right?" Private said as she left the training room.
"It's alright Sergeant, let her be for today," Lynx said and the sergeant nodded.
