“Never be friends witha fox” clown’s mother would say as she set the table. Samantha was a very strict mother and she was against foxes. “Whats so wrong about them anyway?” Clowny would ask “they are dirty little rats they cause so much trouble!” She would reply but clowny never lsitened to her at the thought of a friend... clowny’s dad henry would always encourage him to make as many friends as he wanted, sometimes he’d tell him its fine to be friends with a fox. One evening his larents started a fight. He couldent help but to ask why and got a reply as soon as he walked in “GO TO BED” his mother yelled “o-ok” he said as he would slink bacm into his room. He could hear them fighting... “dont be harsh on him honey!” Henry said as of clowny was in a diffrent world he remebered.. maybe a new school will be fun! He remarked.

The next morning

Clowny woke up brighter than ever grabbing his bright red illow and jumping onto it to slide into the kitchen “morning clowny” said samantha as she washed dishes “whats for breakfast?” Asked clowny “your favorite! Blueberries witha side of pancakes!” Said henry setting a plate onto the table “i cant wait for school!” Said clowny mouthing down the food “slow down there champ” said henry as he set down some drinks “im sure youll make lots of friends.” Said henry “no foxes” said samantha with a sarcastic smile. “Why not?” Asked clowny “what if he or she wants to be my friend? How about that huh?” Said clowny, samantha’s hands clenched into fists “i said NO foxes” she scowled.

Later at the school

It was always the roght moment for questions but not this time... clowny was sure he wanted togoto this school he was sure wnough he would make friends... “here we are champ!” Said henry helping him “thanks dad!” He said running off “they grow hp so fast... cant beLeive hes already seven...” said henry climbing back into the car. As clowny walked down the halls kids stared at him he felt uncomfortable. There was a few faces that seemed welcoming but the rest looked angry.. once he found his class he came quietly allthe kids stared at him with welcoming faces exept one... a scowling face in thenback of the classroom. The girl looked veryun happy... maybe she was hurt? Who knows thought clowny. Mrs.apple welcomed him in “why hello young man whats your name?” Asked the teacher. He sat in an empty seat “clowny” he replied. “What a nice name! Your parents?” Said mrs.apple “my mom is samantha and my dad is henry” he said “perfect your the new student am i right?” She asked ina. Cheerfull tone “yeah” he smiled. There was one person in the class who couldent stop looking at clowny.. an orange fox?

At reccess evryone swarmed clowny like a pack of bees he felt like the center of attention!

but then he noticed there was a fox... big beady eyes anred shirt grey paws and 3 peircings on his ears

“Hi” clowny said exitedly “hi” he replied back “my names foxy! We havent gotten a new stident in like forever! Its so good to see yoU,” said foxy jumping up and down “you too” said clowny as he smiled brightly “so is taht mwkeup or is it natural?” Begged foxy “oh this creamy white color? Its natural” responded clowny “oh tahts awesome! Whats your favorite thinh color animal and smell?” Asked foxy “hmmm tahst a good one, i have to say my favorite thing is friends my favorite color is blue and my favorite animal is... tahts a good one ill have to leave that blank but my favprite smell is blueberries they are so tastey!” Exclaimed clowny

Foxy and clowny talked. A bit more than the bell rang then they talked more in the halls and ofc theytalked in class.

Later in the car

“So did you make any new friends?” Asked henry “yes dad but mom wont like him! Its a fox what do youthink shell do?” Asked clowny frowning “aww dont frown, im sure shell just yell and leave the room.. anyways how was school?” Asked henry “oh it was so much fun evryone wanted to meet me! Foxy and me talked for so long! We couldent wait for tomorrow!” Said clowny “maybe we could arrange a play date?” Said henry “ylur ina. Mixed hybrid class right?” Asked henry “yes foxy os three years younger.” Replied clowny “but hes super tall! Taller than me!” Said clowny “your 7 right?” Said henry “yeah” replied clowny “that mist mean hes four!” Said henry laughing “so?” Said clowny crossing his arms “it dosent eman hes less of a friend!” Said clowny frowning “your right im sorry” said henry smiling “besides you havent even met him!” Said clwny as he hopped out of the car “tahts very true” said henry helping get his backpack out.

In the house

Clowny was sitting at his desk finishing uphomework when... “I CANT BELEIVE THIS” yelled samantha from the kitchen clowny frowned “why is she always screaming... she is never happy withme and dad.....

Maybe she just dosent love us” said clowny flopping into his bed “or maybe she is mad about somthing...” said clowny rolling over onto his side “he ry get him now!” Said samantha he ry rushed into clowny’s room “kid you mom aint happy...” said henry gettong clowny up “c,mon champ” he said walking itno theyre room

“Whats gling on..?” Asked clowny “is this about me and foxy?” He y shopk his head “no.” Samantha yelled “YOU MADE FRIENDS WITH A FOX?!” She left the room “why dosent she like foxes dad?” He asked “because a fox broke her heart” he replied picling clowny up “but its dinner time lil guy” he said

It had been 4 weeks since the first day fi school and today clowny would have a playdate with foxy!

Clowny couldent wait! Both of them couldent stop talking about the playdate during class mrs.apple was a little annoyed but didnt stop them from talking. Now that school was over clowny just had to wait.but lets see what foxy is up too. Foxy was laying in his bed playing with nourmerous of his little action figures “war!” He made a character declare and after that he threw them at each other making them fight, his mother was not very fond of clowns either. Fpxes and clowns dint go well together at all in this world and wellthey were sort of enimies. Foxy’s dad however was the same as clown’s dad, he didnt acre at all as lng as he had friends. Foxy loved playing with clowny at school so it wpuld be even more fun when they get to play at the park.

Later in the car

“I cant beleive i agreed to this” said clowny’s mother as they drove to the park “foxy isnt bad at all, he is so funny and kind and and” clowny went on and on about how good of friends they were. Samantha rolled her eyes as henry smiled. “At least you will have someone to ta,k to?” Said henry as he climbe dout of the car.

“Maybe...” she sighed and helped clowny out. “Foxy!” He yelled when he saw him. “Over here!” Yelled foxy as he realized clowny was here. Samanha sat on the bench with the other mom. Henry sat with flxy’s dad. Samantha stitched while foxy’s mom knitted “my name is clara” said foxy’s mom “mine is samantha” said samanatha as she was still a but annoyed bye this idea. “Im richard” said foxy’s dad “im henry” said henry. And all the aprents chatted until sun fall “foxy time to go home!” Shouted clara as she packed her stuff “clowny lets get dinner!” Yelled smanatha finishing up her stitching. Foxy wasent the same... there was somthing off abkut his f

Sharing toys was begs of all. They both said goodbye and left the park.

Later at foxy’s house

“I ahve to admit foxy, your friend looks pretty cool.” Said richard as they got back inside

“Tahnks dad” replied foxy as he ran inside and leaped onto his bed “hey dad can you play with me?” Begged foxy “kid i have to do work “plssssssssssss” begged foxy even more as he split the puppy eyes “sigh fine..” he replied “ok what are we going to play kiddo?” Asked richard “i want to play war i need someone to play as med bay captain and the leader of these troops.” Said foxy smiling “ok kid” replied his dad as they started playing. Foxy and clowny had had theyre first adventure together and thats not theyre first. They dont know whats comming.
