It was a cold rainy evening, the only thing you could hear were rain droplets. There were few people on the streets including me. All the stores were still open except one, Spaxe, a bakery. Though, it was only operated by one man, Mr. Spore.

Weird, why did Spaxe close this early? I guess Mr. Spore isn't feeling well.

I went to my apartment. As I was heading towards the door, screams suddenly came from the west side of my apartment. I went to where the scream came and saw people looking up at the rooftop of the apartment I live in. There was a boy, he was standing at the edge with his back towards us. It was kind of hard to see due to the rain but I was sure I saw a man. They were facing each other.

Then suddenly, he fell. "Oh god! The kid!" "Poor thing." "The kid must have had problems to have committed suicide." It was noisy. The voices of people mixed together as I got nearer where the boy fell.

Was it suicide? Or was it murder? Why was there a man beside him before he fell? Was I the only one who saw the man he was with?

I looked up once more to see nothing. The man was no where to be found anymore. Thoughts circled in my head as I wondered on whether it was suicide.

I hurried to the entrance of my apartment and climbed up the stairs, then I came across Mr. Spore. He was wet.I asked Mr. Spore why he was at the building but he ignored me and continued to exit the building.

Weird

On the 29th floor where the rooftop was only at the top, I noticed that the stairs were wet. I didn't notice that when I climbed the stairs because I was busy thinking why Mr. Spore was in the building.

When I reached the top, There was no one there. I don't recall passing by anyone other than Mr. Spore. The elevator was being fixed so there was no other choice for the man that the boy was with to go down other than the stairs.

I went downstairs and headed to my room. I lied down on the bed, exhausted.

Where did the man the boy was with go? Why was Mr. Spore in the building and wet? Did the boy really commit suicide or was he pushed?

7:32 am December 15th 2019

It is early in the morning while I ate breakfast while watching the news.

Breaking news: Yesterday at 8:14 pm, a 16 year old boy commits suicide and jumps off a building. Witnesses say the boy- beep.

I turned off the tv. I don't want to hear anymore of what happened yesterday.

I took a shower and got ready for work. I left the apartment and went on my way to work. I passed by Spaxe to buy a baguette. I'll eat it in the office.

"One baguette please, Mr. Spore." I said

But Mr. Spore didn't reply. He was just there sitting on his chair. It was like he was thinking of something.

"Mr. Spore?" I said.

He snapped back to reality and looked at me. "Oh sorry, Sir Wellington. I was just thinking of a new bread to add to the menu, hehe." He replied.

"One baguette please. I'm running late for work." I asked one more time.

"Gladly." He replied.

I handed him the money and went to work.
