IT’S SUMMER AGAIN

Chapter 1

It was June the sun was shining

proudly at us .me and my friends were out at the lake near our neighborhood

enjoying our summer break . Few hours later , win got called home by his

mom screaming enough loud on the phone  to make the others realize that they have some

physics assignments to deal with . We are all in the same grade and as all of

us lived in  close neighborhoods we went

to same the same school

Most of there houses were very

close to each other expect for mine .

James always used to be the last

one with me while going back home , as he lived the closest to my house and was

my oldest friend .

I loved my

neighborhood a lot it was quite and pleasant . I personally really liked everything

expect for the position of my house , it was the only house not joined with

others.

Oh sorry! There were  2 houses apart from others just attached to each

other .The house next to ours was empty most of time , though  from the last few years every summer a family

used to come visit the house  I didn’t really

knew them as me and my family were mostly visiting my grandma during summer , but

this year we decided to stay here as my grandma was busy with her NGO work .

I was on my bicycle going back

home looking up at the beautiful summer clouds, when I suddenly crashed into

him.

I still bare that moment in my mind crystal

clear.

“hey!! dude what the….  ” I stopped .. was staring at his very light toned  ,perfect v-lined faced with very soft

looking  pink lips . How can boy be this

beautiful? . is he even real.

“what are you staring at? And by

the way you have no right to say something like that I’m not the one staring

idiotically at clouds “

“I’m sorry” “ you should be , you

can’t blame other for what you did wrong ,you even cracked all of eggs who is

going to pay for it”

He kept on taunting me for about  10 minutes and I was just  standing there

with some what romantic music going inside my head . the hot wind blowing

suddenly felt like the cool winter breeze.

My ears stopped working ,  all  I could

see was his lips moving . I stood there still without any sort of  movement in my body. “hey! HEY!! CAN YOU HEAR ME

“. “oh yeah yes! I apologize for my behavior” I pick up my bicycle and  my back pack and decided to run.

It’s not been long since I discovered

my sexuality I have only  dated few guys ,

though I’m just 17 but

What was that? . what was that

feeling ? I have never experienced this feeling  before .

My stupid  heart was so loud I think he heard it too . is

this it . is this what they call ‘love at first sight’

My mind is behaving like a frozen browse  with his clearly visible face . I reach home

still thinking about him and our not so romantic encounter .i came home with a

motive to relax as being a top student , I’m habitually done with all the

school assignments but how could I complete my motive, as walked into my  house with a whole chaotic scene going on

dad was trying to helping mom in the kitchen and she was of course railing all over

him and my brother playing his stupid video games and screaming and my favorites

of this house my dogs Leo and  Luca

fighting over a new toy and running all around . “Gosh this house”. With this I

first control the dogs and send them out in the backyard then dealt with the  human

dog buy providing him some headphones and head towards the battle ground to save

my dad .

“maa .. MAA . .listen ” ” oh! Teh your back  ” “ yes!! And pa you can go now I’m here” dad looked

at me puppy eyes and whispered  “ thank you”.

“Yes Teh please all your father can do is sit on his chair

and read newspaper” “ that’s not true honey I do more things..” “oh ho! Trust me you

don’t want to get me started in front of our children” “ haha, I think I should

go check on the dogs they must be hungry haha ” “ oh ho! Pa  will ever win with

ma” “ son  ,since last 20 years losing to

your mom is the only thing because of which I'm still in this house”

 “ oh ho my poor pa!!!”  “are going or not?” ” yes honey!”.  With this dad  he whispered “I'm out of here , best of luck” and  went out of the kitchen to feed the dogs

“Is someone coming for dinner tonight ma” “ no” “so why are

you preparing so much food” “its for our neighbors”  “oohh  ... wait but mom we don’t have neighbors” . “oh

we do , we are never here during this time so we didn’t knew”   “oh really who are they?” “ do  you remember the grandpa who used to live in

the house next door?” “yeah but he passed away years ago”  “I know his son and his family come here every

summer  to remember him since then , that’s

why this is the first time we are interacting with them. they just came here today

only and are out of supplies  so I offered

to prepare dinner it will also help us to interact more and build a relationship

as that grandpa took good care of you both when you were young  so we should maintain a good relation with his

family too” “ that’s a good idea ma  , but

is this the only reason”  “umm ..  yeah of course ..” “ maa.. " " ok ok the lady next

is also the fan of my fav tv show finally I’ll have someone to gossip with!!” “

haha  I knew it. that’s why we have both chicken

and fish today , right? “ “yes”.

After helping mom she told me to go take a bath as me and my

brother had to take the food and leave first

While having the cold shower he crossed my mind again I wonder

who he is I have never seen him around he probably doesn’t live near “ I wish I

could met him again. I didn’t even ask his name!! aghhhh!!”

I came downs stairs dressed up ma told me to leave with the

food first as my brother was taking forever in the shower singing his favorite songs.

I took half of it and  left my place. Exactly after 10 steps here

I'm at our not so new  neighbors house.

I surprisingly saw a very familiar bike outside but was not

able to recall who’s it was

 I enter the main entrance

and rung the bell after waiting for about 2 minutes someone finally  answered the door  “I'm sorry I was up ..

stairs..” I froze again “ HUH! YOU” he said.  it’s him!!  the bike was his ! he is my new neighbor??

wait am I dreaming??   “ yo..you ”.
