Arranged marriage

That morning, it started like any other day. I woke up, got dressed and went downstairs, and sitting there where my sister usually sits beside me is a stranger. “Who are you?” I ask in a rude manner. Mother hisses back at me “Hisoka, manners!” I was about to apologize to my mother, when i caught a glance of the strange man staring at me with a kind of intensity that was almost enough to knock me on to the floor. My father motions for me to sit next to him at the table, as soon as i sit at the table my father speaks.

“ Hisoka,  this is Takahashi Shuichi, you are going to be moving in with him next month.”

“What! Why, Why do I have to move in with him, I just met the guy!”

 As soon as I said that, the room fell silent, I looked at my mom, only to see tears start to form in her eyes.  “What’s going on? What’s wrong?”

“Because you’re going to marry me.”

Hearing Takakhashi say this, I can’t help but be a little scared for what’s to come.

“....when?

“In two weeks.”

‘TWO FUCKING WEEKS, how the hell did this happen, i don’t want this!’

I can’t believe I’m about to ask this but i have to know “wait, then what about school?”

There's no answer for awhile, until Takahashi says, “you must have a lot of questions, why don’t you spend a couple days at my place and we can get to know each other.”

I don’t hear either of my parents, and so i accept his offer. We stand up, and he reaches for my hand, and leads me out the door and to his car.

When we get to his house he leads me through the living room, and up stairs to “our” bedroom. “Take a seat on the bed, I’ll go get us some drinks.”

Being told that, I sit down on his bed, and well I’m waiting I skim the around the room from where I’m sitting and I see a balcony overlooking the sea. The view really is amazing, if the circumstances were different, i would’ve loved to live here. I really wanna get a closer look at the ocean from here,  I stand up and walk over to the sliding doors, that's when i hear the door open. I turn to see Takahashi standing there looking at me with disappointment.

“I thought I told you to sit on the bed, why are you at the door… are you trying to run away?”

“N - no, of course I’m not, i was, ah , just looking at the ocean.”

“Then, why are you still standing over there? Get over here.”

That was definitely not a request, that, was a command.   Hearing the tone in Takahashi’s voice, I take a couple steps forward nevesouly.

"What are you doing!? I said get over here!" saying that he walks over and drags me over to the bed.

Arranged Marriage

Takahashi grabs my arm and pulls me over to the bed, then throws me on top of it.

“I, I’m sorry” Takahashi looks angry with me, looking out to the sliding doors really pisses him off this much. I mean, it’s not like I actually went outside, and tried to climb down.

He sits beside me and hands me a glass of what looks like alcohol, and despite the fact that I'm only 18, it’s free booze, and I take it. I hesitantly take a sip and boy is that strong.

“I thought you brought me here for me to ask questions, and to get to know each other better?”

“ Well, yes. But you haven’t asked me anything yet.”

“Oh…”

Now that he’s pointed that out, I feel really awkward, trying my best to come up with the most useful thing to ask him. Unable to think of something to ask on the spot, I ended up blurting some kind of jiberish.

“Ieh.”

Immediately after I squealed, he looked at me, almost concerned. Trying to cover it up, I took a sip of the drik he handed me earlier.

“Well seeing as you don’t seem to have much to ask me, I’ll tell you how this is going to work from here on out.”

And with that i feel all of my attention being pulled toward him, kinda like a magnet.

“When you move in here, you will abided by my rules. Understood?”

He made that sentence sound a bit like a question, but it sounded more like a command. I nod in response.

“Remember that you agreed to that, because, whatever i say, always gose.”

“Yep, got it.”

I don’t really know why i said that, to be completely honest i was a bit scared of him. I mean, I don’t quite know where my parents met Takahashi, or why I’m being married off to him, wait a minute, that's something i can ask him!

“So, why do I have to marry you in the first place?”

“Oh, that’s simple, because I bought you.”

“What do you mean, you bought me?”

“Exactly what it sounds like, I exchanged money with your mother and father, so that you’d be ‘mine’.”

What the hell am I supposed to say to that?! My PARENTS sold me off, why would they do that,m it’s not like we particularly have any money problems anyway, at least i don't think we do.

Note: I'm sorry for the short chapter this time around, I kind of ran out of ideas for it, if you were enjoying it, i apologized but i'm going to do some more brainstorming and write something better, so please look forward to it!
