Kara's pov.

I was standing looking down the sea.

What's the point being alive?! My mother can't even look at me in my eyes! My sister doesn't like me! My brother didn't visit me for 5 years! I don't even know my dad is! Even his name! Or even the first word of his name! My classmates keeps bullying me!

I'm all alone! So there is no reason for me to live!

"Oh is that Little nerd Kara? Come'on Kara jump! Oh my gosh I should video it!" I looked at my back a lot of people were at my back but not to stop me but to video me.

Yeah! This my life! No one cares if I die! My life is useless!

So why would they bother saving me?! They would be happy if I die! My mom, my sister, my brother & my unknown father!

They would love to see me in this state! I wish I was never born!

I jumped...

CHAPTER 2

Kara's pov.

Suddenly a strange light appears in the sky I felt that I couldn't breath that makes me realize how much I wanted to live.

God! If you are real pls. save me!

I tried to swim up there but I couldn't do it I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SWIM! Suddenly someone jumps and he is coming near me.

And when he reached me---it's kinda blurred but I know he is an handsome man.

I saw his blue eyes and blonde hair makes me think that he is a foreigner.

His face is coming near my face but I suddenly pass out.

'Cough! Couch! Cough!' I coughed

"Thank God! You're alive!" Someone said in relief and when I looked at him HE WAS THE MAN WHO SAVED ME!

"Thanks for saving me I owe you my life" I said with a smile on my face he blushed

Is he sick?

I used my hand and put it on his forehead and then I checked mine.

We have the same temperature

Then why did he blushed? Is he okay?

"What are you doing?!" he shouted I trembled with fear

"Hindi kita, anak! (you're not my daughter!)"

"Malas ka lang sa buhay ko(You're unlucky in my life!)"

"Dana di kita naging kapatid! (I wish you're not my sister!)"

"Tama na! Wag niyo kong saktan!(Stop it! Don't hurt me pls.!)" I pleaded I covered my ears using my hands

I cried

"Hey! What's the matter?!" he said he tried to come near me but I shoved off

"Pls. don't hu-rt me" I pleaded again I only saw an image of my mother in front of me.

"Please! Don't hurt me, mom!" I pleaded again and again but suddenly something warm body hugs me I realize it was him.

"Ssssshhhhhh! Don't worry I won't let her hurt you, I promise" he said makes me feel comfortable

"Thank you!" I thanked him this the first time someone comforted me.

"Hey! You want me to accompany you to coffee shop?" he asked me

"Sorry, I don't have money with me" I said then lower my head

"It's okay, it's my treat" he said then smile at me

He stands up then he offers me his hand and I accepted it he helped me stands up.

"But first we need to change clothes first" he said

"But I don't have money with me" I said

"As I said it's my treat today" he said the patted my head causing it toessy hair.

"Why are you doing this? - - - I mean we just met" I asked because I was wondering that why was he doing this?

"What if I said I know you but you don't know me" he said with serious tone

"What do you mean by that?" I asked

"I'm not going to tell you until you will recover your memory by yourself" he said

What does he mean? Have we met each other?

"Have we met?" I asked

"I'm not going to answer that" He said

Several hours later...

We are done buying clothes and now we were eating at restaurant.

"Sarap naman neto! (This good is so delicious!)" I said in filipino language we were eating here in Jollibee it's the first time I ate here because mom doesn't want me to eat here.

Telling me it's good for health but I know she was doing this because she hates and I don't have a clue why she hated me.

I was eating fried chicken 🐔 this is my moment! Wala ka nang takas! Kakakainin kita! (You have nowhere to escape! I'm gonna eat you!)

"Hey! Easy! Easy no one's gonna eat your food" He then chuckled I know he thinks I'm a pig but I didn't care.

"Hey---I just realize we look like the same!" I said we do look a like his kinda handsome.

"*cough*cough*cough*" He coughed he then dtinked his cup with a cold water in it.

"Are you okay?" I asked he then nodded and I sighed in relief.

"Do you speak tagalog? Cause you look like you don't understand tagalog" I said and I let a small laugh out.

"I don't speak tagalog cause Imma full american" He said

"Then why did you go in here in the Philippines?" I asked I got the feeling that we really did met before but I can't remember.

"I came here to get my sister but I'm not sure if she really is my sister" He said

Why does it feel that he was talking about me?

"By the way why do you want to kill yourself?" He asked probably he is curious about my suicide attempt story.

"I thought no one loves me I don't believe in Gods but when I was down in the sea I coudn't breath I realized that---" I sighed

"I want to continue living but what was shocking the most is that---" I stopped for a moment

"I prayed that God would save me and he sent you to save me, I realized that God is real and there is someone loved me so I want to continue living" I said then smiled well, I didn't believe in God in the past because I keep thinking that no one is there for me but now God sent a man to save me.

"You know what? You made me realize that there is God---but what were you doing in the San Juanico Bridge? As far as I know no one is allowed to go there except to those who was cars" I asked he stopped from eating

"I---uhmmmm---I wanted TO KILL MYSELF TOO! Yeah! That's right I want to kill myself!" He said

"Huh? I thought you want to know who is your sister and now you want to kill yourself? Nakakalito ka (You're confusing me)" I said he looked at me confusingly because of the last words I said

"What is nakakalito ka?" He asked confusingly

"It means you're confusing me" I said

"Well, that time I forgot that I had a sister" He said then we both laughed

What kind of brother would forget his sister? Oh I forgot it's my brother Kael

"I think I need to go 🏡 home it's late already" I said then stand up

"It's nice meeting you mr---" I said then offer a shake hands.

"Deogracia---Khalil Deogracia" He said then accepted my hand

"It's nice meeting you, Kuya Khalil" I said with a respect he then patted his hand in my hair 'causing it to mess.

"Goodbye po" I said with a respect then I started walking and he waves back at me.

I don't want to live with my mother, she will definitely gets mad at me or probably she is finally happy right niw becauss she thought I was dead.

Because of the letter I left for them

I don't blame her for what she did to me because I know she has reasons why she did this to me.

I entered to the jeep so that I could save the money I had because I only got $1,000 because of my part time job.

It's not easy to find job I don't know what will happen to me but it's enough for me to live for 4 months so I need to find a job quickly.
