I'm late. It's the first day on the job and I'm late. I get to kandy coffee five minutes late. I rush to the door and notice a sign no longer in business. No this can not be happening. This was my last chance to save my apartment. I sigh and walk towards my apartment. This was terrible. I can feel tears welling in my eyes. I shake my head trying to make them go away. 

Suddenly a lady bumps into me I feel something hot on my breasts. I look up she's beautiful. She has bright blue eyes high cheek bones and brown hair.

"Sorry," I told her.

"No I'm sorry come here I'll get you a clean shirt my job is just up the road I should have an extra." She grabbed my hand. I felt a jolt of electricity run through me.

I had never felt such attraction before.  I follow her.  She's still holding my hand. We finally stop in front of the Jone housing building.

"This is where you work," I stood in aw.

"Yea not as great as it looks. My fathers the ceo."

"Oh," I was silent.

"Anyways follow me this way." 

I followed her down the hall. I was still in shock I couldn't imagine owning a business this big. We come to a stop in front of a glass door. The lady headed over to a chest in the corner and brought over a blue blouse. I hoped it would fit because my ****** were bigger than average. She went over and closed the blinds I turned and started to change.

"So what do you do for a living," The woman asked.

"Um actually where I worked just went out of business so I have to find a new job."

She stared at me in thought.

"I have an idea it might be crazy. So don't freak on me."

At this point nothing would surprise me.

"You need a job right?"

"Yea," I replied.

"Ok well what if you worked for me?"

"Doing what?" I was getting a bad feeling.

"To take over this business I need to be married. The thing is I have two boys and no one is interested in a single mother. You would be a stay at home mom and we would be married. You wouldn't have to pay rent everything would be free."

I sit down overwhelmed this is what I need a place to live and a job. There's just one thing. "How long?" I ask.

"A year."

Okay that wasn't so bad a year. That was nothing and I love kids it would be perfect.

"If you need to think about it I get that. Here's my card if you wish to contact me."

I take the card. Elizebeth that name suits her. I know I'm taking a risk but I think this is the best option I don't have time to find another job before I'm evicted.

I look up at her, "I'll do it."

"Your serious." She grinned.

"Yes."

I had a feeling things were about to get crazy.

I head home thankful for the turn of events from today. She was the perfect candidate and she seemed like she needed the help. I open the door to my house and my boys run up and slam into me.

"Well I missed you to," I laughed, "Wheres Grandma."

"She baking us are favorite brownies." Lucas my oldest yelled.

I headed to the kitchen and find my mother mixing a bowl of brownie batter. I come up and kiss her cheek.

"How were the boys." I ask.

"Wonderful as usual." She replied.

"I have good news." I told her.

"And what's the good news?" She asks raising an eyebrow.

"I'm getting married." I grin.

"I didn't know you were seeing anyone. Have the boys met him or her."

I loved that my didn't care that I was bi. "No I wanted to make sure we were serious um I'm actually asking her to move in before we get married to see how her and the boys get along."

"Hmm," my mother gave me a skeptical face. "Why don't you invite her for dinner tonight so your father and I can meet her."

Thankfully before she left I got her number. This was going to be interesting I hope Angel doesn't freak.

Angel gets here and surrounded by the boys "hello munchkins."

"Who are you?" Thomas asks.

Angel looks at me. "I'm your Mommas girlfriend."

"Oh!" His eyes go wide, "wait does that mean you'll be Momo?"

Angel gives me a confused look. "Yes Thomas that she'll be momo."

"But we already have a momo," he starts to cry.

Now that I think about it maybe a should have started slower.

"But momos in heaven so this will be a new mom."

"But your mom."

"Okay then what should we call Angel?"

I ask him.

"Hmmm," he contorts his face, "momgel," he laughs.

I can't help but laugh. I look towards angel she still looks worried. I pull her into a hug and whisper. "It'll be fine."

She relaxes into my touch. She fits against my body perfectly she just a couple inches shorter than me. I pull away and look into her eyes. She licks her lips and my eyes immediately draw to them.

"Mom." Lucas yells from his room bringing me out of my trance.

I finally pull my eyes away from Angel and head towards his room. "Yes Luca."

"Are you really marrying her?" He asks.  He's almost ten so he understands a lot better than Thomas who's only six.

"I plan on it. Once you get to know her you'll love her promise."

"I know Thomas seems to like her." Lucas glances towards Thomas playing with Angel. I stare amazed I figured it take a while for Thomas to warm up to Angel. I wasn't entirely surprised by his reaction earlier.

I walk over to them, "hey Thomas how's it going."

He looks at me his face overjoyed. "I'm Batman and momgel is robin."

I look at Angel with robins cape and mask and burst into laughter. Angel smiles.

"Aren't I smexy?" Angel laughs.

My mom walks smiling. "Well that's quite the look. I'm Sheryl Elizebeth's mother."

"Angel," Angel shakes my mother's hand.

"So how long have you been seeing each other?" My mother questions.

"Six months." I wrap my arm around angels waist.

My father walks in. "Lovely we are all here."

"Well let's eat then shall we." My mother announces.

"Boys go wash up," I yell.

They run towards the sink it's a regular thing at this point so I don't bother yelling at them.  I'm a little worried about how this will go we didn't get a chance to talk about are backstory. I look over at Angel and smile. She gives me a small smile back.

I'm nervous about how this dinner is going to go. Elizebeth is calm and doesn't look nervous at all. I watch the boys go to get washed up and head towards the dining area.

Elizebeth's mother stops me in my tracks. "So you love my daughter huh. What do you love about her if I may ask."

I was about to make up something when Elizebeth walks. "Your ready for dinner honey," she smiles and pulls me to her side. I nod.

We head into the dining area and find the boys ready to eat. I take a seat next to Elizabeth and Lucas. We sit in silence for a while eating. Until Elizebeth's mother speaks. "So what do you do for a living?" She asks.

"I work at a coffee shop," I lied.

"Is that all you do?" She asked sounding disappointed.

"Yes."

"But she's going to start staying home with the boys." Elizebeth pipes up.

Her mother glared at me.

"So when are you guys thinking for the wedding?" Her father asked.

"Um we were thinking probably in July." Elizebeth states.

"Oh no that's only 3 months away." Her mother cries.

Elizebeth nodded, "we would like to get married right away. Wouldn't we darling." She turns and kisses my cheek.

I feel my face turn red. I know I'll have to get used to this but just imagine full on kissing her full soft lips. I purposely try not y on think about it because it would be nice. To have someone care about me and love me for who I am.

As I'm stuck in my thoughts Thomas is pulling on my hand.

"What's wrong?" I ask him.

"Momgel are you going to live with us?" He ask.

"Yea is that going to be okay."

He stops and scrunches his face. "Yea then we can play together all the time right."

"Of course." I smile at him.

He starts to scream. "Let's go play now."

I look over at Elizebeth and she nods. I glance at Thomas and start to chase him down the hall.

After awhile Elizebeth comes in the room. "It's time for bed. Little monster."

"No I want to keep playing." He yawns.

"I know but you have school tomorrow."

Thomas sighs and heads to his room. Elizebeth looks at me. "They really like you," she smiles, "it usually takes a while for them to warm up to people. Do you want to help put them to bed?"

I nod. we headed towards Thomas room and found him already asleep.

She turns to me and smiles. "You must of really wore him out."

We headed to the living room her parents must have left because it was quiet. I turned to her. "I love your kids."

"Well that's good because I think they like you to." She smiles.

"Want to watch something. It's late so if you want to stay you can I have the guest room ready."

"Oh thanks," I look at the clock.

It's past 11 surprisingly.

Elizebeth puts in a movie and I start to doze off. The next thing I know I see the credits and Elizabeth's sleeping on my shoulder. I look down at her peaceful face and decide that she can continue to sleep.
