I'm a Grimm Reaper, black clothes, pale face yeah you got what I meant. As a Grimm Reaper, my job wasn't to take life but either guide the soul that has left their physical body. It's pretty tiring considering that they often tries to run but few are successful in my case, the one who run away are considered as 'lost' and they often make a ruckus in the physical realm but not that there's anyone care.

I still remember the first task that are given to me, guide a soul of three person, 2 man and 1 woman. Pretty normal I think. I began following the life of a grown woman with her partner but I didn't encounter the other guy.

Around 24 days later that I finally met the final guy in the list, it seems that she's cheating on her partner. 'This isn't going to be good' as I watch them enter the hotel.

I of course goes into the room that they're book in and uhmmm let's just say I really didn't want to be in there. Around 6 minutes they in their 'Passionate Hugging' Session the door suddenly slam opened by force. And wouldn't you guess it, it was her partner complete with a double barrel.

Bam! and that's how I got my first task done. The ride back to the afterlife are not quite at all.

I also remember around 2 years later that I get a sudden job to take a soul of a girl. Seconds after I got there, I noticed a girl crying in her bathroom and there's a blood red liquid on the floor. 'Suicide' is the first word that come to my mind. This time it was a complete silence except her sobbing and all but it's acceptable.

Anyway, this time I got to take a soul of a girl and it seems like it shouldn't be much of a problem. I go to the coordinates that are in the files and began to go to the girl's house.

As I arrived, the house seems quite. Well, considering it's nighttime in here I guess all of the human are already in their deep sleep. The girls house are also very tidy it seems. So, I sat around in a corner and began to check the file that are given to me. I open the first page and read the name.

"Sophea, 19 years old, death around 25~30 days" I mutter to myself. Ah yes the death time are also not precise since it's only a prediction but I never encounter any human that had escape death prediction before but I've heard a few that had survive it.

I was busy checking the file but then I felt this stinging pain at my head. As I try to reasons to what had happened I already fell unconscious to the floor.

Where am I? Am I still alive? or am I dead already? I don't know, There's pain earlier but now my body feels numb.

I passed out not long after.

I wake up again, antiseptic smell taking over my nostrils. I tried opening my eyes but my vision are all blurry. Suddenly, I felt intense pain in my chest. It's so hard to breath that as if a boulder is all over my chest. And then I heard several footsteps running in but it's too late. I'm running out of breath.

I passed out again.

suddenly a blinding light piercing my vision. my eyes quickly trying to adjust to the light and soon after I see.

Thousands upon thousands of human lining up all wearing different kind of outfit with the same color, black. Where is this? Did I died already? Is this the afterlife? Or am I dreaming?

I didn't know what to do so I just stand in the line, move if someone move, day after day like an ant colony. I don't know how many time had pass but I realize I'm at the front of the line right now. In front of me is a wide counter, behind it stand a woman wearing the same kind of outfits.

"Are you new here?" She ask. I just nod, doesn't really know what she had meant. She handed me an orb liked object. "Go through that door right there, see it?" She pointed to a big wooden door, I nodded. "When you've arrived at the other side, break that thing and it would give you all kind of information you would need" She says again, I just nodded. "Okay then, go. Others are waiting behind you." I go through the door and does all as I instructed...

"That's it." I said, finishing the old story and take a quick sip of the warm tea.

"That's it? really?" The girl asked. I just nodded. "You don't tell how you reap their soul out when people died tho..."

"Death information can't be disclosed to the living plus as I said earlier, I'm just a guide, I'm not death itself." I answered her question. She just nodded like a child. Sophea, my latest task, I didn't know it would be this troublesome. Somehow she said she can see and suspect me for a robber when I came in earlier. But now she treated me as if I'm someone close to her.

"Anyway, how can you see me? I haven't heard of a case where the living can see Reapers." I asked. Sophea just shrugged indicated that she also doesn't know.

This is a problem, us Reapers actually can form a physical body but we can't tell who we are for obvious reasons but this girl can only not see me without my physical form but also already know what I am.

"Anyway I come for you, did you know that." I see shock written on her face. Ah, I probably shouldn't have said that.

"Oh me? Oh okay." What? what kind of response is that?

"I'm coming for you that means you'd be dead in a few days. You get it?" Her face just shown confusion.

"Uhhh yeah I get it already. So what? I'm gonna die sooner or later anyway." Welp I seriously didn't expect that kind of response. I take another sip of the tea. Ah, it finished already.

"Oh you wanted some more tea? Wait a minute." "Ah no thanks" Aaaand she'd left. a couple of moments later she come back with another cup of tea. "There ya go." She said as she handed me the cup. "Ah yes thanks."

"So you'd want to continue your story?" She asked. I take a sip "Fine."

I ended up telling her about 15 of the soul that I had fetched until she's fallen asleep beside me. I wanna report this to the Underworld Bureau but my head is still spinning by being hit with a frying pan. Damn this girl got some exercise with her... I wonder what her cause of death.
