**Author's POV

Abby was staring at her parents grave at the middle of the night in the grave yard.

She noticed something moving a little far away from her.

it was a little black figure collecting ....soul?!

She got a little scared but shrugging it off she moved forward.

"Hello?" she tried to grab it's attention.

As the person turns around , she discovered it was a male covered in a black cloak. His face was covered with it's hood .

"W-who are you? " she asked.

"I'm the grim reaper" he replies coldly.

She was confused .

"You mean-" before she could asked anything , he disappeared into the thin air.

"ABBY!" The voice caused her to flinch and look around.

It was her Aunt.

"What are you doing here again?!" She seemed really mad .

"I- "

"Have you done the house chores yet?!" she cut her off.

"No I haven't madam Silvia." she sighed before speaking.

"How dare you!? you aren't having anything to eat tonight! " She walked off as Abby trails behind her, sighing.

After her parents died her uncle and aunt took over their family business and did care about giving Abby a single bit of it . They treat her like a maid or worse a slave.

After finishing the house chores Abby lays a mat on the ground of the store room before laying on it.

She sheds tears everyday thinking about how her life changed and what kind of misery she's in.

-the next day-

"Wake up you living mess!"

Abby dashed up from the bed or should we say ground?

"Make breakfast for me! And mom told you to do the laundry." Her cousin, Terry leaves the store room after throwing the clothes onto her face.

"Why did my alarm ring?" she went to check her phone.

"Oh , it's broken."

After doing the laundry Abby served them their breakfast.

It was time for her to eat .

As she was walking to the corner with the tray

, Terry kicks her foot which caused her to fall along with the tray and the things in it.

"Oh what a mess she is." Her aunt say as she was eating.

"Yeah , what a mess." Terry giggles.

"I'm glad that you and dad didn't die , or would have to work like that." Terry says.

"Aww ,I would never leave you my daughter."

Abby just cleaned up the mess while tears tickle down her cheeks, ignoring the fact that her finger got a cut .

Abby was crying in the store room thinking about every thing that happened in the morning while hugging her knees.

A black cat rubs his face on her foot making her look at him.

"Oh , you're here lil fella. I have breakfast for you." she wipes her tears before giving him the piece of bread she saved for him earlier.

Abby dozes of to her own thoughts as the cat eats the bread .

"Here , you might need this." Those words caused her to snap out from her thoughts.

She flinched as she saw the male from last night , holding a bandage**.
