Hi, thanks for clicking on this book. This is my story of the abyss. I hope you have fun reading my first ever story I've acctually put my heart and soul into. Now, get reading!
The Abyss... terrifying I should say. My mother always used to tell me stories about creatures never imagined before. "Dont go down my child, it's dangerous," she always says before tucking me into bed.
This changed over the years, my views, my thoughts, characteristics changed. I wanted to go in there, I felt something was in need or my alliance... something needed help. Every night, when I go to sleep, I feel a presence in the room, I felt my heart sink as it stared deeper into my soul. It felt dark. And scary.

...Episode 1: A light in the shadows...
...part 2...
As the sun rose, I got up to my mother cooking chicken stew. the fresh breeze hit my face. "That smells good, guess I cant eat it right now," I say while I stretch my arms high in the air. That day was incredibly scary. I got my pick axe and helmet and headed to the mines. I reached the beaten cave and no one was there. It was quite surprising as I am normally the late one. But I ignored it and thought all of them were coincidentally tired on the same day.
the mines were really really scary. I get jump scared by that big and huge spider on the wall or that centipede in the corner. I walked to the copper ore I saw in the distance and I took a huge swing at it with my pick axe and then... BANG! the entrance collapsed closing the only entry and exit. Keep in mind I was alone, and I did not like that look on that spider. I stomp my feet in utter rage. I calmed myself down and sat on the floor. I started to think. I had a great idea! instantly I got up and swung my pick axe (to be completely honest I wasn't the brightest so I didn't think before swinging at the rocks) and I slipped which resulted in hitting myself on the back with all the force that was meant for the rocks. I was and idiot!
Suddenly, as I fell down, I saw a light in the distance. It was very faint and hard to see. The same feeling struck me again, but this time it was different. It wasnt breathing down my soul and my heart didn't sink, but I wanted to just close my eyes and sleep, forget it ever happened.
I laid there still, hoping it would go away, hoping I can get out of this cave and go back home, where it feels safe. I didn't want to be there. I jump back up to my feet and look for my pick axe. It was gone! The axe was gone! Without thought I start punching the rocks in hope to break the rocks. The dim, faint light started to get closer... closer... and closer. My life flashed before my eyes. My hands were broken. They were bleeding. "This is it," I thought.

My life flashed before my eyes. My hands were broken. They were bleeding. "This is it," I thought.
Suddenly, I clench my broken fist and jump back up. It was as though I had no control of my body but also in full consciousness at the same time. I swung my arm back and forced all my power left in me into one punch and then ᗷᗩᑎᘜ! I hit something but nothing was there. Then I started to see it. There was human shaped figure laying in pain on the ground. but it wasn't a human. it had two blue horns and it wore a silky, white cloak. I bend down to take a closer look and it disappears! I look around... I didn't know what happened but I fell unconscious. it felt almost relaxing, like a way to escape the pain from my fists.
I wake up, I'm still in the cave and I don't know how to get out. I thought it was my last day on earth, so I ventured deeper into the cave. the cave's routes were not the same as I remembered. They twisted and turned into each other and it was almost like a maze. It confused me and mostly I ended up where I started. I kept track of the maze with a rock and a really sharp shard to map out the maze. When I was younger, I was really good at problem solving so this was no issue for me.
I found the end of the cave. It was just rubble and dirt. I start to try and dig with my broken hands but I was too weak to do so. I sat down and I started to think. I concentrated on how to get the rubble out. I didn't even know there was a door! It was like magic! As I thought, visions of when I punched the so called "ghost" came back to me. It distracted me a lot and had me worried. I had second guesses and I wanted to go home again. I sat there. Still. And silent. I closed my eyes, and thought. ᗩᕼ ᕼᗩ! I get up, pull back and charge at the door leading it to breaking down into pieces, and the rubble went flying everywhere!

...part 2...
It was me, and the door. Everything was quiet. The wooden door stared back at me as I stared at it. I hesitantly walk towards the door, but I cant go back now. I slowly open the door. The creak of the wooden slab sent shivers down my body while the dark and cold touch of the hand stabbed my soul. I open the door. And all I see is just a room filled with books on all four sides with a table in the middle. I go in to investigate further. Nothing is there. It's all children books and a broken table and chair. I look around hoping to find something worth my time and interesting. I look at the table and I turn my head slowly. I SEE THE GHOST! it started at me and ran toward me! It grabbed me by the neck. I couldn't breathe. It choked me. I couldn't do anything. I felt paralyzed. Finally, out of nowhere, I get a sudden strength to punch the ghost in the stomach. And so I did. The ghost slowly let go of me and fell the the ground again. It laid there in a ball position. Hurt and in pain. Then, it slowly faded away. Disintegrated. Did I just kill the ghost? What did I do? All that was left was the blue horns which were cold to the touch. I pick them up and place them in a bag I carry to put ores in. I do not know what is going on. This sudden energy that makes me stronger. Is it only when I'm with the ghost? Does it only happen when I'm in life and death situations? Who knows. All I know there is something going on and I do not want to die here...

...part 3...
I wanted to go home. "I want to go home, I want to go home, I WANT TO GO HOME!". I kick down the door and I left using the rock and shard I used to come here. I rush towards the entrance and only exit. "please I want to go home. I want to see mum. I want to see Denzo. I want to see dad." All I wanted to do in life was be with my family and support them. Even if I'm only 16. Even if I'm not that strong, even if I'm not the brightest, I just want to support them. I want to see them and cherish them.
I punched and punched and punched the rocks as hard as one can do. My already broken hands blead even more. The pain was immeasurable and unbearable, but I had to keep going. I needed to go away. While I punched. I kept asking myself how that strength came to be. How I gained this sudden strength. What if I could use this again? What if I can use this strength to break the rocks? What if, I can? I fell upon the rocks. I laid there resting, thinking about how I can use the power again. Then, suddenly, I remembered the horn. Maybe the horn can help me? I took it out of my bag and held it in front of me. it (to my surprise) glowed and flew out my hands. Then, it blinded me entirely and fell down. After a few moments, the horns attached to me. ITS ON MY HEAD. I CAN'T TAKE THEM OFF. I CAN'T. I try to pull them out as hard as I can but it wouldn't budge. I would feel a pain when I tried to remove them. Almost like if it was a part of my body! I SUDDENLY FEEL STRONGER!
