Fate seems to be cruel of the young kindhearted lady named Amara. Amara was in her nine years of age. An orphan being adapted by her most trusted person, Nanny Isabel. This little girl was being loved by the whole Nation. A lovely girl with a soft heart obviously. Also has a big sister, a foster sister called Carlota. Sister Carlota was in her sixteenth years of age. She was known as the Nation's true beauty.

Because of her dazzling look that every man in there Nation can't get off their eyes on. Always being court by every man she passes through when she take a walk.

Amara isn't the type of a jealous girl so she insisted on protecting her beloved sister. In order to protect her sister. She take a hard job just to find money for their present and for future need. She was helping her Nanny Isabel selling vegetables and fresh fruits. But then they've been in a tight budget just to pay their house rent and for their other debt and also for their daily lives. Her sister wanted to find a job but Nanny Isabel doesn't approve to this cause she was afraid that there might be something happens to her daughter Carlota. She was afraid that Carlota might get abused by some perverted person when she's away. Amara was in deep thought. She take a walk without knowing how far she take. Then she realized that she almost got lost. She turns her head on both sides to look for signs. And what she found was a job hunt, "Wanted Maidservant for the Chief Lord. An amount of $500 a month of salary." Because of a hard life she took the job without any further questions. She told Nanny Isabel the good news, but then Nanny Isabel is a bit flustered. She hesitates and was on a big thought. And Amara said, "Nanny Isabel just say yes, there's no other way to pay for our debt". And Nanny Isabel then approves but still worries on Amara's safety. Day after that she did become the young maidservant of the hostile Chief Lord, Diego.

Chief Lord Diego is the head of their nation. He was in his forties. He has a son who's almost on the same age as Carlota's, seventeen years old. His name was Albert and was being called as vigorous despot. Cause this son of his was a womanising person. He always stay's on brothels, and almost lives there. He change girls like changing clothes. Even in his seventeen years of age, he actually does disgusting things. But his father the Chief Lord, doesn't care about this at all. In fact, his father joined his son's doing such shameless act. They take it as father and son bond.

...But Albert isn't the only child of the Chief Lord. Albert was the son of Chief Lord's legal wife....

Nicholas, the same age as Amara. The second son of Chief Lord Diego from his concubine. His in his nine years of age. His mother died when he was four because of poisoning. The one who poisoned his mother was the main wife, but no one knows except for him. He had known this when Albert and Alexis had an argument. The mother of his older brother Albert named Alexis.

Alexis was drowned on jealousy. She was jealous because Nicholas' mother, Milien, was known as flower goddess at that time due to it's gorgeous look that no one can resist. That made Nicholas' mother to be favoured by the Chief Lord. That lead the Lord to focus on her only and made Alexis left alone and wasn't even taken a glance from the Chief Lord for all year round. When Milien died, his son was being framed by his older brother.

Back on three years ago Chief Lord lost it's most treasured thing.

"Father it's him, he was the one who took your most treasured ring. I've seen him with my two eyes. I even bring a friend at that time, so he could be my witness. I can tell that he's an ungrateful bastard" Albert said.

At that time Chief Lord Diego was furious because that ring was the only gift given from Nicholas' mother, Milien. Chief Lord Diego was drunk, he beat Nicholas until it faints. So that cause Nicholas to leave a scar on his right face.

Now he always wears a mask that can hide the scar carved out by his own father. Although his a son of a powerful man, his on his own. He work's hard just to feed himself. Because his still a little boy, he sometimes run on some street bullies. That bullies was either sent by his brother or was sent by the main wife.

There's a time that he bump on them and being rescued by a girl. At first he doesn't believe on her. He even said,

" Hey! Are you out of your mind? Just mind your own business if you don't want to get involved. Your just a little girl, what can a girl like you can do in time's like this?".

The girl was bravely standing in front of him blocking those bullies. Bullies was actually underestimating her so she introduced herself.

"I, Amara, well never ever left those people who in need's of my help" she said.

And there a short silence. One boy can't hold his laugh.

"Pfffttt….. what? You? Pointing on Amara.

"Want to help those in need of your help?"

"Look guys she must be a famous comedian" he said it while over laughing.

But then Amara was eager to help but she was the only one versus the five of them. Nicholas was amazed by her brave speech but he still said something that could lead Amara feel unpleasant.

"Damnit. Are you a fool?"

"Only fools would look down upon me" Amara said with a courageous voice.

"Your just a girl, run away quickly if you don't want to get beaten up" Nicholas said it with a worried voice.

Amara was thinking how to solve such problem in a short time. She saw a small stall near at their site. She walk through there. But sadly Nicholas thought she'll leave him so he said to himself,

"Right, what am I expecting for? No one ever help's me up except for mother" he was down that his eyes almost got teared.

Unexpectedly someone came back.

"Now it's a fair fight don't you think?" she said with a fearless voice and posture.

Bullies was shocked that made the one of their teammates peed at his pants. Nicholas gently raise his head to take a look at his bold hero. He got astonished to see Amara comeback with a high courage. She brought a bunch of fellow friends that has a sharp weapon along their sides.

Nicholas was amazed by how courageous Amara was. As he didn't expect that someone we're willing to help him.

He was on the ground sitting uncomfortably, while his eyes teared up without even noticing it since his deeply touched by Amara's doing.

"Hi!" Amara greet with pleasure.

Nicholas were stunned that he can't answer directly.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"Ah?!... ah-umm..." as Nicholas nod.

Amara was worried if this young man was traumatized hence he barely speak.

"Fellas!" as Amara called her friends.

"Yes? Anything you need?" one of Amara's friend ask.

"Do you guys know any doctor around here somewhere?" ,

"I don't, cause this is a remote place."

"Oh well, how to help him." Amara ask as she was really worried.

"N-no no thanks, I'm alright, I'm not in trauma" Nicholas said as he carefully stand up with a bright smile.

"R-really?" she lend him a helping hand.

"Ah...opss, sorry" Nicholas' leg got nub.

As Nicholas' leg got nub the both of them was stunned to stare at each other, that a bit too close. The both of them were in shy that they turn their heads on opposite sides.

"(What am I thinking? I'm still too young to think of such a thing)" Amara's inner voice said.

"By the way, where's your home?" Amara asked.

"(Home?)" he sighed.

"Hmm? Are you...?"

"Yeah~ I have no place to go. (Even if I do live to a place like that. I still don't have a house to call home.)" Nicholas' inner voice said.

"(Oh, that's why he was being bullied and as he got heavily sighed. How I feel thorned.)"

"(Maybe she now looks down on me, is she?)"

"Well, how about you stay in our home with me?" ,

"R-really? But.....what if your parents get mad at me for staying in?

"That? Not a problem at all. Plus I'm an orphan, I don't have parents. I only live in with my Nanny.",

"What if she gets furious?"

"No she wouldn't",

"Are you sure about that?"

"Of course, my Nanny Isabel isn't a bad woman, instead she was a generous person." *felling proud*

"Oh? Okay..."

"Really, you don't have to worry that much."

Nicholas nod.

Few Hours Later The Both Of Them Arrives At Amara's Cozy Place. Although It's A Bit Ruined, But For Her There's No Place Like Home.

"Nanny,"

"Amara, dear, where have you been to come back at such time like this?" Nanny Isabel asked.

"Hello Ma'am, I'm the one to blame." Nicholas interrupt.

"Amara, this is?"

"Ah? Oh, yeah, right. This is ..., a new friend of mine. I saw him got bullied by others when I passed by. So instead of not interfering, I helped him since I felt so bad." Amara was explaining with her head held high as she was so proud.

"Yeah, Yeah. Young man what's your name again?" Nanny Isabel asked in a lovely way.

"Eh?..." Amara was shocked that her Nanny ignores her.

"I'm called Nicholas, thank you for inviting me in Ma'am" as he bowed.

"Your too ritual, just call me Nanny Isabel as everyone is."

Nicholas was in deep pleasure that he was deeply touched.

"Huh, Nanny Isabel found a new one to replace me." as she murmured in the corner pitifully.

"Amara go find your sister!"

"Ah?" heartbroken.
