I am Yurika Zen. An 18-year-old girl who lives in the countryside. I'm in the 12th grade. I was born on October 27 and a Scorpio. I live with my grandmother cause my mother left me when my father died. I love stars, and I'm a selenophile. I'm a moon lover. I'm addicted to the moon.

It's 7'o clock in the morning and I'm going to school. I get some egg rolls and put them in my mouth while tying my hair. I get my things and look for grandma. I saw her in the garden.

"Granny I'm leaving!" I shouted as I was riding my bicycle.

"Have you eaten your breakfast?" Grandma shouted while I'm fixing my thing. I just smirk and started to pedal the bike.

"I'm good! Don't worry about me!" Then I waved my hands and drive away.

My father died since I was 9. After that, my mom left me with my grandma. When I become 11 and started to enter high school I knew that my mom has an affair and my father knew about it that's why he's always drunk. And he got ill. My father died with a heart full of hatred for my mom. After I knew about it I hate my mom so much. But grandma told me not to have hate in my heart. I already forgive mom for leaving dad, for leaving us. And every time I'm still waiting for her to come back and get me. But years pass by. No mom come.

"Naaaaah! The second subject is just ended but it's still not lunch break!" she's my best friend Cassy. A food lover.

"I'm sleepy. Don't want to stay here in the room anymore. Let's go cut our class." Cara said while stretching her hands. She's also my best friend Cassy's twin sister

"I heard that we'll have a new teacher. And I also heard that he's so handsome! Kyaaa!" Yuan shouted. Also my best friend

"What kind of ears do you have? You overheard all the gossips!" Cara said with a rolled eyes.

"It's not gossiping it's news!" Yuan with a pout

"Okay enough! I know this would end up as a fight so let's end it here." I go in the middle of them and started to be a referee

"It's so unfair! Cassy team up with Cara they help each other but you didn't help me. How would I win?" Yuan started to get mad

"I'm not choosing any side. I'm being neutral. I'm a referee." Here I am explaining my side

"Better find your twin sister to be on your side too! Hahaha." Cara said teasing Yuan. It's an advantage to have a twin sister. She's right.

"Teacher is coming! Back to your seats!"

We all back to our sits and continue to listen. They're right it's too boring. Too sleepy. But I still need to learn. It's for my future.

-after 3 periods-

"At laaaast! It's already lunch break!" Cara shouted with a yawn

"Let's eat."

We go to the cafeteria. We buy some food and eat.

"Do you know that our new teacher will be our last subject? Oh my God it would never be boring." -Yuan

"Is that a gossip or a fact?" -Cassy

"It depends on how he will teach us." -me

"Seeing a good-looking teacher will charge all my nerves and I will never be sleepy!" -yuan with a smirk

Being a moon lover makes me different from them. They both like cute and handsome men but I can't appreciate them. I just love the moon. And that's it.

"That's okay Yuri. You'll fall in love soon. You'll find your true love and learn why boys are cute. Hahaha!" -Yuan teasing me

"I would never be. And I don't want to. I'm contented with the moon!" -me

It's our last period.

My three best friends are so excited to see the new "handsome" teacher. Me? I'm just vandalizing my desk.

Our new teacher came.

We both look at Yuan with a curious look

"What? I just check his public information on social media. There's nothing wrong with it" Yuan explain

"My god Yuan. Such a stalker." This girl makes me crazy. I can't help but laugh.

Ow no. The teacher recognizes me. The three idiots look at me with a surprise and laughing face.

"Si...sir... It's just that..." I looked at my three crazy friends. They're stopping their burst of a laugh. I look again at the teacher. "I'? just... I'm just happy to meet you, sir. You're the funniest teacher we have. We're so lucky to have you in our class." I smiled awkwardly. Cassy Cara and Yuan are laughing now.

The teacher looks at me seriously.

Why do I have these crazy friends? Ugh. But still, I love them. Hahaha.

Our last subject ends and we're packing our things now.

"I'm in a good mood today. So I decided to treat you guys." Yuan with a wide smile

"Are you serious?" -Cara

"Okay I know a place to eat." -Cassy

I was busy packing my things.

"Hey, Yuri? Are you mad? You don't want food? My treat." -Yuan with puppy eyes

"I'm not mad. Of course, I'm going. I'm just busy packing my things." It's true. I'm sleepy but not mad.

-outside the classroom-

"I'm gonna get my bicycle first."

"Okay see you at the gate." -3 idiots

While walking I saw our last subject teacher. He's walking towards me. I look down. Naaah I'm so shy about what happened. We're crossing our paths. Ow, don't recognize me pls. Don't look at me. Don't look at me. >.< *cross fingers*

"Oh, it's you. The one who laughs at my class. Hello." ^__^ my teacher stops in front of me and recognize me ( -.-")

I look at him. And smile awkwardly

"Oh, hi sir" (^_^")

"You're not yet going home?" Teacher asks with a smile

"Hehe, I'm going home, sir. I'm just gonna get my bicycle at the parking."

"Ow, you're riding a bicycle?"

"Yes sir. May I go now, sir? My friends are waiting for me at the gate. Sorry, I can't chat too long with you."

"Apology. Maybe talk to you tomorrow. Keep safe." He said and smile.

I just smiled back and go to my bicycle. The new teacher acts weird. What's wrong with him?

"What makes you so long Yuri? My legs are tired standing here." -Cassy complain

"Sorry I just saw teacher while on my way to the parking and he chitchats on me."

"Whaaat? You chitchat with the new teacher that's why you took so long? You said you were not interested in him. Why you're talking to him solo?" -Yuan

"Yes, I'm not interested in him, It's not my intention either to talk to him alone. We just cross our path on my way to parking. Nah not a big deal. Come on I'm hungry." I said and started to walk

"Okay. I know you don't like a man so that's okay. Let's eat." -Yuan with a smile

We went to a snack bar near our school. We buy foods and eat on our way. At the end of the road, only Yuan and I are left.

"Yuri, why do you're grandma doesn't want to live near our school? Your house is too far so you need to ride a bike. School is so tiring. So maybe you should move here to preserve your energy riding a bike." Out of nowhere, Yuan said

She's right. Our house is too far from the school that's why I'm riding a bike. And school is so tiring but still, I need to save energy for riding my bike home.

"You know we don't have any relatives here near the school. Besides, our house has lots of memories. I know granny doesn't want to leave those memories. Me either. It's fun riding a bike so It's not a problem after all." I smile.

Yuan just nod and smile.

Yuan gets her way to her house. I waved my hand and started to ride my bike. I'm happy to ride my bike. Even school is tiring. I'm not tired to ride my bike.

-House-

"Granny I'm home!" I parked my bicycle and started to run inside the house. Every time I go home I still have this much energy. I'm happy to have my granny and this answers my question.

"Get changed. Dinner is ready." Granny said with a smile

"Yes, granny!"

I get change. And run to the table to eat. I tell granny about what happens to me in school and how I feel about it. Granny just laugh at my story. After eating I wash the dishes. I fix myself and go to bed. I kiss granny on her forehead for goodnight.

While on my bed I think of what the new teacher acted towards me earlier. I feel so weird. Why did he act like that? Does he feel sorry for embarrassing me in front of the class? But it still my fault. Nah. So many thoughts. I must sleep and don't think about it.

"Yes?" I said with a yawning voice

"Yuri! Why you're not answering your phone? I've been calling you 10 times. What are you doing?!" Yuan shouting in the other line

"YURIKA ZEEEN!!! DO YOU HAVE AMNESIA?? YOU FORGOT WHAT WE TALK YESTERDAY? YOU'RE GETTING ON MY NERVES!" Yuan angrily shouting at me

I furrowed my brow. What is she talking about? What did we talk about yesterday? I don't remember >___< I mess my hair and try to remember it.

We're waiting for our order of burgers and fries.

"It's Friday tomorrow, so sad. Because weekends are coming we're not able to see sir handsome." Cassy said with a pout

"Yes, you're right two days without him so boring." Yuan

"Nah, why you two are acting like that? So annoying." I said and rolled my eyes.

"It's okay Yuri, you would understand soon. Just think that boys for us are like a moon for you. The way you reacted to the moon that how we reacted to men. Got it?" Cara said then wink

"Okay fine, I'm not arguing with you guys even though I still don't understand how you feel for men." -me

"Yuri, will you help me tomorrow?" -Yuan

"Sure, tell me what to do?" -me

"Let's go to school early tomorrow. 6 am at the gate I will wait for you there." -Yuan

"Hmm, okay no problem I'll be there." -me

"Why you two only? How about us?" -Cassy pouted

"Nah, Cas it's too early. Yuan know that we're always late hahaha." -Cara

"YURIKAAAA!!" - Yuan screaming and sounds like she's gonna cry

"I'm so sorry Yuan. Don't worry. I'm coming! Wait for me. Bye." I dropped the call and throw my phone on my bed.

I pick up again my phone and look at the time then throw it again in my bed. I look around my room and don't know what to do. I walk forward and back. What should I do first? Aaah. I'm in a hurry but I don't know what to do first!

I get my towel and take a bath. I wear my uniform and wear my wristwatch. I fix my things and went to the kitchen.

I saw granny preparing the table. I help her.

"Why you're such in a hurry? It's too early in the morning your class is about to start at 8 am." Granny said while eating. She saw me eating fast

"I'm sorry granny for eating this fast. I forgot that I need to go to school early because I promise Yuan that I would help her distribute the school journal. Our meeting time is 6 am and it's already *look at the watch* 6:15 in the morning!" I explained and continue to eat fast and faster.

After eating I put on my bag and get my bicycle.

"Granny I'm leaving!" I shouted and ride my bike

"Okay be safe!" Granny waved at me. I wave back

I drive fast. As fast as I can so that I can still go to school early. I stop pedaling as I go down the hill but I'm still fast. I plunged. And a man is crossing the streets.

"WATCH OUT!!!" I shouted nervously as I plunged down the hill. I press the brake to stop my bicycle. Before the man got hit. The bicycle stops.

I'm in front of this man closing my eyes, tightly holding the handlebar grip, stopping the bike with my two feet on the ground. I open my eyes and saw him looking at me with a not so very shocked face. He's shocked but I see another expression on his face...

"What the hell are you doing?! Do you know that riding a bike with more than 15 miles per hour in a school zone is prohibited? You're reaching the speed limit!" He said angrily

That's what I'm talking about. He's shocked and angry.

"You almost kill me!" He added

"I can't kill you with a bike." -I said sarcastically

"But I can get injuries if you hit me!" He shouted

"But I didn't hit you." -me

"Are you justifying your mistakes?" He said and cross his arms

"No, I'm not. Sorry for that. I know I'm wrong. But I have valid reasons. I have important things to do and I'm getting late so I have to go. Sorry, again I don't mean it. I promise I would never do that again. Sorry." I said and started to drive my bike. He just stares at me while I pass by.

Finally, I reached the school's gate. And saw Yuan tapping her one foot on the ground while crossing her arms. I look at my watch it's already 6:35 in the morning. She's waiting for me here for 35 minutes. She's so really mad. I drove on her way. I smiled awkwardly as she saw me.

"Yurika Zen. Give me a valid explanation of why you're late." Yuan said and raise her eyebrows

I scratch my head.

"Sorry. I forgot." I said looking at the floor

She just takes a deep breath and sighs.

"You know I can get mad at you too long. I'm still thankful cause you reached the school early than usual" Yuan with a touched tone

I look at her and smile.

"I forgot but I can't leave you waiting for me too long. I almost fly riding my bike. I make my bicycle a flying vehicle just to arrive early." me exaggerating everything

"Aw. I'm super touched, Yuri you should be careful next time. Don't be such in a hurry you may get an accident." -Yuan

"Thank you for your concern. I'll never do it again. Come on ride on my bike let's go to the journalism office."

"Okay."

Yuan ride my bike and we went to the journalism office. She gets all the school journals for 12th grade and put them on my bicycle's basket. We distribute some of the journals in every 12th grade that we see. When the time comes to 7:45 we decided to stop distributing and continue it later. I park my bicycle and help Yuan bring the journals to our room. We reach our room and give our classmates the journals. At 8 am Cara and Cassy came and the class started.

It's like the other day, my everyday routine is still the same. Sitting and learning in the class. Being sleepy. Recitation. Discussion. Quiz.

The class has ended and we're still waiting for our next class. I rest my head on my arms that are above my desk. I opened my eyes and stare at my desk.

"Is it wrong to love the moon?"

I sit straight and hold my desk with my two hands. What the? My eyes widened.

"Of course not. Are you some kind of an alien? Or you're just crazy?"

Someone answered my vandalize O___O how did that monster saw it? It's too small to see! And what did he call me? Crazy? Woah. This monster pisses me off! ( -___-#)

I get my pen and answer him.

"I'm not an alien nor crazy. You don't understand me. You're a monster!"

"Hey Yuri, what's wrong? You look like a beast that will eat someone anytime." Cara looks at me confused. Her brows furrowed.

I smile awkwardly at her.

"Hehe, nothing it's just that, a monster piss me off." -I said and stare at my desk

"What's that little Yuri?" Yuan, she's at my back and glance at my desk then look at me

"Are you vandalizing?!" her (O__o) me (~3~`)

"It's not like that it's just..." I look away and scrub my nape while my other hand covers my desk.

Yuan take my hands off my desk. And stare at my vandalism.

"What's this?" looks at me then back at my desk "This is not your penmanship. Who wrote this? And..." she stares at it like she's investigating. "This is a conversation. Yuri, who's this?"

With her not-so-very loud voice, Cara and Cassy got her attention. And now they're around me looking at my desk and looking at me like I made a crime and integrating me.

"Who's this Yuri? Why you didn't tell us?" -Cara lifted her lifted brows and cross her arms.

"I don't know either. It's just..."

"You don't know but you're replying!" -Cassy looks at me madly and back her look at my desk.

"I replied because I'm annoyed cause..."

"Nah! Reasons Yuri. You didn't tell us. And you're not planning to tell us!" Yuan now cross her arms and rolled her eyes.

I take a deep breath.

"Are you asking me to answer you or you just want to ask me but not to answer? I'm not yet done with my explanation but you all are not listening to me! Nah!" I said irritated and cross my arms.

They look at each other. Then laugh.

"Sorry, Yuri. Okay, you may explain now." ^__^v Cara

"Okay, yesterday when I was bored I wrote this *pointing my vandalism* then I didn't expect someone will notice it but when I look at it now, someone answered my vandal. I replied because that monster called me CRAZY! AND SOME KIND OF AN ALIEN!" I said calmly and burst out. Grrrr

They just look at me. Then look at each other and laugh.

"Hahaha, that person called you crazy what a brave person." Cara laughing like there's no tomorrow

"You make me cry little Yuri. You're getting annoyed by someone you don't know? If this person sees you... Pfft. Hahaha." Yuan laughing to death

"I don't get it. What's happening? I thought we're mad at Yuri why you both are laughing?" Cassy looking at us confused

We both look at Cassy. Yuan and Cara stop laughing and just stare at Cassy.

"Okay it's finished." -Cara said and go back to her seat

"Don't mind it Cas." Yuan sitting properly

"What? Did I say something wrong?" Cassy is still confused and doesn't know what's going on.

"Go back to your seat Cas. It's okay." I said shooing her away.

Cassy goes back to her seat and still murmuring. She still doesn't know what just happened. I don't know, in us best friends. There's always a slow one and not getting the jokes or the situation. And that's always Cassy.

-Lunch break-

"Yuri." Yuan run towards me hold me in the arm and we went outside the room together.

"Do you have any idea who replies your vandal?" Yuan ask while we're walking along the corridor

"I don't have any idea. But I think the person who wrote the reply was a student from the night block." After our last period, there are students from the higher year that's making class in the evening.

"So he or she is our senior?" Yuan with excitement on her tone

"Nah dunno. Maybe." I said without any expression

"Hey, you two. What are you gossiping about?" -Cara upping down her brows

"We're not gossiping. I just ask Yuri about the mystery person who wrote a reply on her." Yuan with a silly smile

"Yuan, what's the big deal in there?" Me being irritated

"That's a big deal. You replied. If it's nothing you should not pay attention to it anymore." Cassy appear out of the blue

"Cas is right. It becomes a big deal since you replied." Cara cross arms

"We should investigate and find out who's that person. Is that person a boy or a girl?" -Yuan said while scrubbing her chin and looking up like she was thinking like a detective

"Nah, I'm out of it. I don't want to know." I said and walk faster

The three follow me and walk faster too.

"It's a mystery we should find the answers." Yuan convincing me

"I'm hungry. Walk faster."

"We're done eating. We should talk about your mysterious chatmate." Yuan

"What? Chat mate? Don't push too hard Yuan. I don't want to waste my time finding that monster." I said irritated

"Why? What's wrong if we find out who's that 'monster' is?" Cara faced me and lift her eyebrow

"Yeah what's wrong with that? It's for you. You'll know who's that person and you can beat him by calling you crazy." Cassy convincing me so hard

"You guys have a point. But as I told you it's not that important. We have many things to do and we're just gonna waste our time." I explained

"Hmm, maybe we should continue replying to that 'monster' and ask him who he is." Yuan with twinkling eyes and a big smile

"Or maybe we should do both." -Cassy said while thinking.

"Whatever." -I said and rolled my eyes

"Our last subject is coming! I'm getting excited!" Cassy said excitedly

"You're right I'm excited to meet Sir handsome." Yuan now with a heart in her eyes. Wait, what? @__@

"He's Mr. Lan, not Sir handsome." I said breaking their fantasies

I become silent and think about what Cara said. Maybe that's the reason I don't want to get attached to boys. Because I only want my dad. I only want him to be my first and last love...

Yuan stare at me and hugged me.

"It's okay Yuri. I know you missed your dad." -She said rubbing my back I smile at her bitterly

"I...I'm sorry to mention your Dad Yuri. It's not my intention to make you feel that." Cara said with guilt in her voice

"It's okay Cara, I'm fine. Nothing to worry about. It's me who has a problem. It's been a year since my dad died but I'm still missing him and I'm still affected and become sad whenever he's mentioned." I said holding my tears back

"Sorry little Yuri." Cara said and hugged me.

"It's okay. Thank you guys for being there." I hugged them back

Cassy also hugged us.

-Classroom-

"We're going home early." Our class president announced

"Why?"

"What happened?"

Our classmates murmuring

"Mr. Lan our last subject teacher has some important meeting and will not be able to attend his class to us. So he said that we should go home after our class ends." President explained

"Aw, sad. We're not able to see him."

"I can't see him in 3 days? Naah"

Our class started to murmur and they all make a noisy reaction
