It all started one usual morning; waking up, brushing my teeth, eating breakfast and looking at my goals for either that day or long term goals.

I had finally decided to tell my childhood crush that I am head over heels for him. My name is Yuri chang and I don't like being noticed, in other words I don't like getting attention which is why I have not confessed my feelings; but after some time I am finally ready, well I think.

After my morning chores I head out for school not knowing that my life is far from a regular one.

... My crush's name isTalta Yan and we are pretty close friends even though I want our relationship to advance. I always walk to school with Tal, which is the nickname I gave him. 'Tal,Tal over here' waving to get noticed by him. We both greet each other and start to advance towards the school. A dialogue ensues between us, we talk about the normal things like the school day before but today my mind was a bit full due to the fact that I wanted to tell him how I really felt about him so I wasn't paying much attention to what he was saying. Unknown to me he was telling me about his new girlfriend and I have learnt to hear about his girlfriends because he is a player but only because he has not seen the girl he can love fully and I foolishly thought it was going to be me at the time. Tal is a very popular person in school, he is quite handsome and smart, very good at sports and loves getting everyone's attention even though I personally think that he deserves it....

I am quite smart, even smarter than Tal but I never tried sports. I know nothing about my parents, I live with my grandma who is nice and good hearted but it would be nice to know a thing or two about my parents or my past. My grandmother says that she will tell me everything when the time is right because I was not ready to bear the burden of my full memory and the things that came with it. Yes, I lost my memory to an accident which also killed my parents according to my grandma. I lied when I said I don't do sports.My grandma had me personally trained and educated in arts, even martial arts, also in the practice of stealth, I read a lot of books in various topics for unknown reasons but I did it all for my grandmother and then at some point it occurred to me that she was training me for something big and also that I had a dark past which she was trying to protect me from. I would bear it in mind that I needed to be prepared for the unexpected,at least till I know what I am being prepared for.

Tal and I (Yuri) arrived at school and his friends came to greet him as they usually do, but there was this particular girl who shared a similar motive with me. She goes by the name of Bahiyyih, she also has a crush on my Tal, she is my only serious competition, as far as I am concerned. Somehow Tal has never asked her out and it hurts to see her try so much to make him fall for her but He will forever remain mine. Or so I thought.

Bahiyyih is known as the school belle, when it comes to social status, Bahiyyih is almost on the same level with Tal and I don't think she really likes Tal. I think she just sees him as something to go well with her, like an ornament.

Tal escorts me to class at times, and today was one of those days. I got to class, sat down, brought out my stuff, basically preparing for the first class. It was at that moment that it hit me, Tal has a new girlfriend and from what I could scavenge from that memory, he wants to introduce us to each other after school. ' what if she gets attached and doesn't want to let my Tal go?'. To be sincere a lot of what ifs were running through my head, with nothing left to do and no idea what the remaining conversation was about I was at a loss of thought.

school closed and Tal is taking me to meet this girl, ' um Tal? ' Tal answers ' Yes ' I continue ' what is your girlfriend's name?' ' oh, her name is Lea and you will like her too once you meet her. 'I really don't think I will like her but who knows she might just be dating Tal for a week or two before Tal breaks her heart. We all meet at a restaurant close to Tal's house and finally I got to see who this Lea was. She wasn't a student from our school. l, she was a girl he met while he was out one day. Everything went as planned and for Tal's sake I pretended like we became friends with that bi**h.

I got home and changed into normal clothes. I looked for my Grandma and saw her at the back of the house sitting on a bench, she looked calm, for the first time in a few days, but she refused to share anything with me. ' Grandma! ' I called out to get her attention. She looked up and waved, she said ' darling you are back. come here, let me tell you something.' I ran down to meet her and I asked her what she wants to tell me, she started with a serious tone,' I think it's high time that you learnt about your family', I was glad at hearing this. Grandma said that it was not an accident that made me lose my memory, she said that I became traumatized after an accident and she decided that it would be best if I had a matured mind before she told me

I was excited to hear my grandmother say that,‘ I’m finally going to know about my family’, I thought to myself. Grandmother leaves the house at times, but just for some hours, and she left as usual today, I already knew that she was going to go out even though I have no idea of where she was going to.

I came back from school, took a bath, settled down and was waiting for grandma to arrive. I slept off on the couch in the living room. ‘Why is she sleeping here?’, she said as she walked in; I woke up after hearing her voice. I let her settle down before I reminded her about what she wanted to tell me, she was reluctant to tell me,' have a seat little one' she started.

‘Your parents marriage was a business arrangement, both your parents were leaders and when I say leaders I mean ceo of their companies and gang boss. They did not have feelings for each other from the very beginning but they did what was best for their business. Your mother’s name was Xie Nyang and your father’s name was Ruo Chang and they weren’t enemies they were just acquaintances but our family was close. Leo and I saw it fit that they should get married.'

Yuri was understanding but asked ' who is Leo and why did the both of you have power over my parents if they were so strong?'

Well ‘I started both Dragon co. and the Dragon gang, so your father inherited the company from me. While Leo is your grandfather from your mother’s side, he was also the one who started the company, Shell Incorporated, and Rain gang. Not long after your parents got married, you were born, a year after their marriage to be exact, but at that point in time your parents had already started liking each other and they eventually fell in love with each other. They both loved you and you are their only child and successor. Your parents had to keep up with their line of work, no matter how dangerous it was they always tried their best to come back, so that they could be good parents.'

At that moment yuri started having a serious headache, 'my head hurts...seriously ...what’s going on... ahhhhh(screaming in pain). Grandma what’s happening?' Grandma rushed to help yuri because yuri fell down due to the headache. After a while Yuri was fine and grandma began to speak 'when you heard about your parents death you fell sick and withdrew from society, so I gave you medicine that would help you...' Yuri was shocked ‘medicine? That would help me do what?' Grandma said with a loving expression on her face,‘I couldn’t bear to see you like that. The drugs that were given to you kind of kept your memory away from you but I had it stopped last year so you should have already been seeing pieces of your memory.' Yuri asked grandma to keep telling her about her parents.
