"Sir Luhan! Do you need anything else?" I asked my most handsome and kindest boss, when our meeting was over.

"I'll just ask you if you have already submitted the report to Mr. Mallari?" I nodded while smiling.

"Of course Sir, am I still?" He just smiled at me and again he looked back at his laptop.

Sir is used to me, during my time working here. My job is really an executive assistant but I feel like I'm also his secretary, its okay just for the one I love the most. It's not that big and my salary isn't small either but that's enough for me, I've been here for five years, I've been by his side for five years and I'm doing everything to make him notice me but still failed..

I do all his favors but nothing, I'm still hoping even if he has a fiancée .. I feel like they won't last even though they've been together for two years because I still believe that Sir Luhan and I will get married in the end.

I giggled weakly when I returned to my cubicle which was also in Sir's office.

"Pearl." I almost deleted a file I was going to save when I heard Sir call me.

"Why?" I can't look at him anymore because of what I'm doing.

"Are you free this lunch?" My heart beats faster as I could no longer move in my seat. Is that right, what I heard?

"Uhmm.. Yes, Sir. I have nothing to do." Even if there really is, of course I won't miss the first time he invited me to eat with him.

"Then let's eat lunch together, later." I can't answer yet because I may not be able to hide the pity I feel.

I really fixed myself because maybe Sir will take me to a social and expensive restaurant but that's only what I thought. We only ate lunch at his office and bought a delivery food for us, but that's fine with me, I appreciate all the things he did for me.

"Pearl, where do you think it's good to honeymoon just in case?" Sir really often consults me but I don't expect his question, does he plans to marry his fiancee? I swallowed what I was chewing first and then answered.

"In Boracay, Sir?" Why did Sir even ask that? So maybe he would have lunch with me to ask for suggestions again, maybe later I will be their wedding organizer as well.

"How about when abroad, where do you think?"

"In Maldives?" Because if I'm the one asked it's the place I'm dreaming of if Sir and I would go.

"I'll suggest it to Mariana." He said.

Mariana is her fiancee, of course for whom else?

"Are you getting married, sir?" I even tried to smile when I asked that.

"Hmm .. I don't know if she wants it this year but we're already planning. And by the way, I will be needing your help in planning our wedding." Mam Mariana is really lucky, Sir loves her very much, I don't know why. Even she's always in the U.S. while I'm just here.

I said goodbye to Sir first, to go to the comfort room, because I was really shocked that he wanted to get married..

I thought next year, then he also wanted me to help them. Can I refuse? Maybe later I can just sabotage their marriage..

I want to but I don't want to interfere with what makes him happy. When I came out of the restroom, I didn't expect I would see Sir here either, did he wait for me?

"W-why, sir?" I asked nervously, what else does he want this time.

"We have something to talk about." It looks like he's going to say something serious.

Is that about his rival? The man that is in the number one spot in the Top Entrepreneurs in the Country because him and Sir, always took turns in that position. But of course my Sir Luhan won't lose there, even if Mr. Javier holds the award for being The Hottest CEO and being the country's top billionaire.

For me, Sir is better, smarter and kinder, in fact, I still don't know Mr. Javier. But he always opposes Sir Luhan, because he has already told him that he seems to want to overthrow Sir. He said he already knew it and seemed to like that he was always in the lead.

"I'll be staying at New York for one week, so you'll take over the whole corp." My jaw dropped at what Sir said.

"W-what?"

"Mariana and I just wanted to take a vacation, and also I trust you.. You've been there for me for almost five years, and I believe in you, as much as you have helped me in running my businesses, I know that you can do this. " I can't help but smile because he always trusts me. But can I really?

"Why not just Sir Edward?" Because when Sir used to leave, his best friend would take over.

"You know that guy, Pearl, he'll surely bring girls to my office again and I don't want it. You're here too, so why not, you?" By the way, his great friend is a womanizer.. But because Sir Luhan gives me his trust, I will not waste it and I will do everything I can.

"Thank you, for your trust, Sir. Promise, I will never disappoint you." I was really overwhelmed. Sir nodded and then left some more of what I had to do.

"Before I forget, you'll be meeting up with Mr. Javier, I think he will offer a partnership together with one of our companies.. But I'm not sure what his agenda really is so you better come prepared." I was suddenly nervous. Our toughest opponent wants a meeting with us?... It's right to be prepared, maybe later that man is planning something to ruin our company.

"Okay, Sir. Is there any more?" Suddenly Sir got up from his swivel chair and I was surprised when he approached me and hugged me. I could hardly move and I was just a statue in my position.

"Thank you so much for everything, Pearl. I don't know if I would have reached this position now without you, you've been there for me since I started. You didn't leave me even when the company seemed to be falling down, you always brought good vibes to me and you also helped me to fix our problems.. I don't know how will I thank you, but maybe I can help you whether you need anything." My heart seemed to explode. He hugged me for the first time, and thanked me like this. Can it just never end? And if I ever ask for a return, you can just love me, Sir Luhan, that's really what I've been hoping for a long long time.

"Ehem! Ehem!" Sir immediately released me, and the two of us turned to look at that man. It's just Sir Edward.

"How about me, no hug?" I laughed then, he even lowered his voice and it seemed like his eyes were teasing.

I exited because when Sir Edward talks to me it feels like he seems to suspect that I like Sir Luhan. So as much as possible, I will avoid him so that he won't notice me again.

It's been THREE DAYS since Sir left.. And even though I'm the boss now here at LM Group of Companies, I still shouldn't be chilling. This position and its duties are no joke.

Suddenly, Sir Edward's secretary Chynna, my friend, entered my office for now.

"Lucky you, girl!"

"Hey! Lucky?! It's so hard, there's so much to do!" I put first my cellphone at the report paper that I was reading to talk to Chynna for a while.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her.

"I will be your secretary and now you have a meeting with.." Oh! I was suddenly nervous, Sir Luhan had already told me about this! Omg! Now I'm going to meet up with Mr. Javier.

"I haven't learned much about Javier Corporation and Mr. Javier.. I should at least know something about him.. " I just slapped my forehead.

"Should you still study the famous and very hot Mr. Javier? You should already know him! He's so famous! You're really lucky! You're just meeting the one and only Zayn Gustave Javier! Omg!" She screamed deafeningly. Is that person really that hot? But I don't care how hot he is because he is the only very persistent rival of Sir Luhan.

"If you want, you can work for him! I have to be critical later on whatever that man's plans are, Sir Luhan and I don't know his mindset and his plan because he wants to overthrow us. That's all he's sure goal!" I scolded at Chynna.

Why would Sir go on vacation? Really this time? When will Mr. Javier is going to have meeting with us.

But that man really looks hot and handsome Mr. Javier looks like he's just the same age as Sir Luhan who is in his mid 20's.. based on pictures on the internet. I think he's kinda rude And maybe he'll get old too early too!

That's why in the evening I really fixed myself because I might be mistaken for my meeting partner. I'm ashamed of myself.

I wore a red off shoulders dress that was above the knee partnered with my silver heels shoes.. I also did light make up so that I would be presentable to him. When I came out of the office I met Sir Edward, alas! Who else could it be?!

"Pearl, is that you?" He asked as he looked at me from head to toe.

"Yes and why? Is something wrong with me?" He shook his head while smiling and still didn't take his gaze away from me.

"It's just new to see you look like that, you look so.. attractive tonight." He always compliment people and, I'm used to it. And I'm not like the women he's quick to flatter and get.

"Thank you, Sir. I'm leaving." I said as I left and every employee I passed looked at me. Am I really that beautiful today?

"Oh, where's the date?" Manong Bert, one of the security guards I was close to, asked. I laughed.

"I don't have a date. I just have a meeting." I answer.

"Why did you make yourself so beautiful?"

"Hala?! It's just a simple one! I'll be right ahead! I might be late..." I took the taxi  I booked earlier and I quickly got to the location.

I was surprised, is that really it? This is my first time entering this restaurant that looks for social and rich people only..

First time I was not with Sir Luhan in a meeting. When I entered, the place was very romantic.. I kept smiling, imagining that I'm going on a date.

But no way, of course if I want to date someone it's just one person, and that's Sir Luhan. It's enviable that only couples are here, why is the meeting place here? Until my gaze landed on the man alone sitting in the corner, Mr. Javier? I haven't seen him in person yet but I've seen him in the picture. I approached him there and I was not mistaken, it's really him.

"Are you, Ms. Rivera?" It was as if my hair stood on end in his voice that was deep and cold.. I immediately smiled even though I was nervous, I shouldn't reveal that.

"Yes, please. Good evening, Mr. Javier." He suddenly stood up and pulled out a chair for me to sit on. Gentleman, eh? Not obvious. I could not continue to speak due to shock.. He sat across from me and then stared at me again. I noticed that he was more handsome in person and that he was also wearing a blue suit that you could see his good physique.

"Good evening too, by the way you look hot and gorgeous, I hope you're not gonna seduce me.." I felt like I blushed at his praise. But I have no intention of flirting! It's like you are, because your eyes seem to attract me. He didn't have any emotions but he was still very appealing.

"Thank you, Mr .--" I even forced myself to laugh because it seemed really awkward because I didn't expect him to say those words like that because of his voice, it was like he was the serious and cold type of person.

"Just call me, Zayn." Why? We are not close and I am not on par with the state so I have no right to call him by his name.

"Uhmm.. Sir Zayn." He closes his eyes and he seems to be annoyed with me when I don't call him by his name only. It seems to me that he always wants to be followed and get what he wants.

"Only. Zayn." He said sternly. He is like a commander when he speaks.

"Zayn. I'm not used to it." It's very difficult for me to say his name because I'm not used to it and can we have a meeting to end the most awkward conversation in my whole life.

"So you're still calling Luhan, sir? Even though you've been working with him for a long time?" Of course..

"Yes, because I feel like I have no respect for him without Sir." He smiled.

"Oh. I thought you two are in a relationship cause if I heard it right, you're the one who took over the LM Group of Companies." I wish, I wish Sir and I, you would have been an angel, Zayn, if that happens! But wait! Where did he find out that I took over the company? We didn't broadcast that!

"Sir already has a fiancee .. And I was the one who took over LM--, how did you find out?" He smiled again, I haven't seen him smile yet..

"I do have my own sources." Does he have a spy with us? Possible. But I hope not, because if there is, there is a traitor to us! Wait a minute! Is it just like this? Why don't I ask Zayn what's the purpose of this meeting really is.

"Uhm.. Z-zayn, what is the real purpose of our meeting?" At the same time as my question, we both looked at the waiter who came.. So, did he order? What is that, I thought I would choose.. But it looks delicious. Kuya Waiter also poured the wine on our glasses, I didn't drink it.

"Are you in a hurry?" He asked while drinking wine as if you thought he was an endorser in a commercial.

"Not really. It's like you're the type of person who's serious and doesn't have time to date." His seductive eyes narrowed at me. I just realized what I told him. I shouldn’t have said in front of him whatever was on my mind. He was probably thinking that I was judging him. I just bit my lower lip while he seemed to be observing me.

"I'm sorry." I said softly that he would have heard.

"You are a straight forward person, its the first time someone has told me that in person." It was as if his hint to me was that no one could tell him that as if everyone was afraid of him. Only God do I fear. It doesn't mean that because only he's a billionaire, I should kneel in front of him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." I repeat.

"And also if you want me to go straight to the point, I'm gonna say that I'm interested on you." My jaw dropped at what he said. What?! Is he interested in me? Eh, we just met! The strength of my charisma then. That's why, I can't crush you back! There is only one in my heart but--

"I'm interested on you that I want you to work for me." I said he didn't like me.. I was surprised, I'm already working for Sir Luhan, he knows that, right? Why is he still offering me?

"Yeah, you can continue your work on his company while you're also working for me. Report all the things, details, and his plans that you will know. Its just simple." In short, he wants me to be his eye there.

"Do you want me to be your spy?" I couldn’t help but to raise my voice, I didn’t like what he was offering.

"Just name your price." He was looking straight at me, and my blood was getting hotter with him. He's really bad, but I don't know why he wants to overthrow Sir Luhan. I just swallowed, I didn't know what to say because I might not be able to control my annoyance.

"As far as I know, your salary is just small compared to my employees. I can double or triple it, if you want." I took a deep breath then stood up, I couldn't. He seems to think he can buy me. He can't get me!

"I'm sorry, Mr. Javier but I can't betray my boss even if you offer me a big salary." I turned around, and started walking until I felt like he was following me. And he said something that made me stop.

"Not everyone is offered that much money and also not everyone is as loyal as you, maybe there's another reason, I think you are in love with your boss." Am I obvious? Or he's just really good at connecting things but he doesn't know me. At his source? But only me and my other friends know how I feel about Sir Luhan. Maybe he's just really smart, he's a businessman after all. He walked in front of me and then handed me his calling card.

"And if you ever changed your mind, just call me." And he left. Wait, why did I accept this?!
