...Nale Ba (Part 1)...

I'm Meena, I used to be scared of darkness in my childhood but I overcame my fear in my teenage and after that I didn't fear darkness.

I used to watch horror stories and movies on YouTube a lot after that and also I didn't feel scared by that, but it all changed one day when I was on a trip in Kerala with my friends.

We were 6 people; me, Seema, Preeti, Manoj, Rohan and Ritesh. We were so overjoyed to go on the trip but we didn't know what was waiting for us there. When we reached Kerala, we rented a car to reach our destination but the car stopped in a remote village.

There was no one to be seen and our cell phones were not getting any network, so it was impossible for us to find a mechanic. Hence, we had to spend the night there. We were searching for a shelter when we saw that something was written on the door of every house. We knocked on many doors but no one answered. Then, we saw a man who was in a hurry, we stopped him and asked him about finding any shelter to spend the night.

He told us that "You should not wait in this village, you should go somewhere else but do not stay here."

We asked him why, but he just said that "It is very dangerous to stay here at night."

He didn't wanted to say more things about it, so we just asked him what is written on the door of all the houses.

"Nale Ba!" He hurriedly replied.

"What is that?" Preeti asked him.

"It means come tomorrow." He hurriedly answered and rushed on his way leaving us behind by ourselves.

After wandering for sometime we finally found a old house. It seemed like no one lived there for a long time, so we decided to take shelter in it for that night. I noticed a strange thing in that; it has nothing written on it's doors and walls like other houses.

We started to prepare our beds to rest there for the night, then we played some games and fell asleep. Everything was going alright until I woke up in the middle of the night.

I'm not a deep sleeper and I wake up many times at night; I woke up that night too. I heard someone was knocking on the door. Then a sweet voice came calling "Manoj", the voice called Manoj many times and I saw that Manoj was going towards the door.

I called him but it was like he couldn't hear, he was walking in his sleep. I tried to stop him but he didn't, so getting frustrated I opened the door. When the door opened I saw a woman in a beautiful red Saree. Her hair was flying in the air. She looked exactly like the ghosts that has been described in the horror videos that I used to watch on YouTube.

To confirm that whether she was ghost or not I looked down to check her feet, and as expected she was floating in the air. Her feet didn't touch the ground.

I was so scared that I forgot to react for a second. I came back to my senses when Manoj bumped at me from back. He seemed hypnotized and was going toward that woman. I quickly closed the door and held him tightly so that he can't move, but he wasn't stopping,so I woke others up by calling them loudly and told them everything. They thought that me and Manoj were pranking on them, but certainly we were not.

To show that we were fooling around Preeti opened the door and turned back at us and said, "See, there's nothing." Everyone was shocked to see what stood or was floating to be exact, in front of them. They got scared too, seeing the looks on everyone's faces, Preeti looked back at the door to see what was there that scared us.

After seeing that woman she was blank. Seema quickly caught Preeti and closed the door but Manoj was still hypnotized. That voice came again calling Manoj. He tried to get free from my hold but couldn't as Rohan and Ritesh also caught him tightly.

We all had put some cotton in our ears so that we won't be able to hear that woman's voice. We also put some in Manoj's ears and it worked on him. We were so scared that we couldn't sleep. We waited for the night to end.

After some hours which seemed like eternity the night ended...

...Nale Ba (Part 2)...

After some hours which seemed like eternity the night ended.

The sun rised breaking the darkness of the dawn.

We didn't sleep last night because of fear. We were just silently waiting for the sun to rise. We sat like statues the whole night.

Manoj was unconscious from last night.

We wanted nothing else but to escape from here. So as soon as the sun rose we left that place. Manoj also regained his consciousness at that time.

We hurriedly reached near our car when Rohan said "You all stay here I'm going to find a mechanic."

"Rohan we're already scared because of last night, what if something happens to you." I said worriedly.

"I think she's right." Seema agreed with me "You should not go alone I'm coming with you."

"Okay, come we have to find a mechanic quickly." Then Seema and Rohan left.

When we were waiting for them the same man from last night approached us.

"So you came back for your car?" He asked.

"Yes." I answered him.

"You didn't spend the night anywhere near here did you?" He asked worriedly.

"Yes-" As I was going to answer he hurriedly said "Where are the others there were two more people with you? They didn't go missing did they?"

"No, they just went to find a mechanic." I answered him.

"But why do you ask that?" I didn't seem to feel at ease after hearing what he asked.

"Don't you know that there's a witch who roams around here after sunset." I could sense fear in his voice as he said that.

"Is it a woman who wears a red saree*." I asked referring to the woman we saw last night.

*Saree is a traditional Indian wear for Women.*

"Yes, she's a witch. She roams around here and some neighboring villages. Her target are mostly men. She calls her target's name in a sweet voice. Her voice is so tempting that no man can ignore it and they eventually fall in her trap. She hypnotize her target." He said with a trembling voice.

Hearing this made me remember yesterday's incident. The same happened with Manoj.

I can't believe what I saw yesterday and that was same with everyone except Manoj. He couldn't understand what we were talking about.

"Bhaiya* why is 'Nale Ba' written on everyone's door?" Preeti asked him.

*Bhaiya means elder brother in Hindi*

"To avoid that witch. It seemed that the witch stopped knocking on their door who has written 'Nale Ba' on it." He answered.

"Can I ask why you were in a hurry yesterday." I asked him as I couldn't understand his behavior yesterday.

"I was in a hurry because I had to reach home before that witch kills me." He again answered while trembling in fear.

When we were interrogating him we saw Rohan and Seema returning with a man.

"Thank god you're Safe." The man said when he saw Rohan and Seema and left.

The mechanic started to repair our car and Rohan told us that they also heard the same thing about the woman from last night as us.

Manoj was still astonished to hear all this.

Our car was repaired and we quickly headed toward the railway station.

We explained everything to Manoj on the way and he was scared to hear all this.

Seema told us that the woman was STREE, the local horror legend of Kerala.

From that day whenever we think about a vacation we get goosebumps remembering what happened with us in Kerela.

"Do you believe in paranormal stuffs?"

"No?"

I too didn't believed in paranormal things, but everything has changed. I can't refuse that supernatural things do not exist when I have witnessed it with my own eyes.

I witnessed that there is another world beside our's. I don't know what it is but the things I have witnessed; I could tell that it was not scientific.

Some people may call it SPIRITUAL world while some would call it world of DEAD. In simple words they call it GHOST world.

People nowadays are willing to do everything to become famous on social media. So was I and thus this happened to me.

I'm Lisa. Although I'm not a celebrity but I'm quite famous cuz I'm a renown social media star.

I've like thousands of followers and subscribers on my social media accounts.

One day my friend was watching a video of Christina. She is one of the social media star in our neighborhood. I noticed that her new video which my friend was watching has much more views and likes than her other videos. It was a horror video.

I checked out my phone and saw that the trending topic on social media was horror videos.

I make videos on trending topics so I decided to make a horror video.

In our city, there was an old abandoned MANOR. It is known for being haunted. Peoples fear from going near it and the forest behind the manor is what makes it more scary.

I made up my mind to shoot my video there. I was going to do a live video so I informed my viewers that I'm gonna do a live horror video at midnight.

As soon as I posted this my subscribers and followers increased and I got comments like "Very interesting", "We love horror videos", "Oh, a live horror video, that's great".

It was 11:45 pm when I called Elena, my friend. She was interested in horror things, so she wanted to come with me.

She came to my house and we left for the manor together from there.

When we reached we saw that it was so dark there. The streetlights around the manor was not working properly. It was almost dark everywhere near, because of this we had difficulties to see anything.

We turned on flashlights of our cellphones. Elena started shooting video. And I was now live streaming with my followers and subscribers.

I didn't said anything for sometime and we turned of our flashlights to make it look scary for the viewers, thinking that the viewers might get scared by my sudden appearance in front of the camera. Imagining about it I suddenly appeared in front of camera and Elena also lit the light. And as I thought it scared the viewers.
