Lin and Tan is a childhood friend, they always spend time together. They never have a secret to hide from each other. They are grown up together since they were a child, their relationship become closer like a brother and sister.

Tan, his full name is Ly Tan. He is the son of Ly family and the 57th general's heir. He is an outstanding student. He is the kind of person who has a friend around. He is an emotionless and cold person but he is a warm heart inside and a career as well. His parents really love him and always lets him do whatever he wants but he isn't a stubborn kid He never smiles at anyone but with Lin he does.

Lin, her full name is Nim Lin. She is the one and only daughter of the Nim family. She is an outstanding student as well. She is a lovely person and always has a good friend next to her but the person she admired the most is Tan. Her parents are a businessman, they never take good care of her what they know is their business. She never got a warm hug or career from them. No matter what she always smiles and pretends like nothing happened.

Tan always wait for Lin outside to take Lin to school. They really get along since they were 3years. They like to play together and spend a lot of time together. They like to play video games and watch a horror movie. Tan really afraid of scary movies. He always hugs Lin and screaming loudly. They have a lot of pictures of them together since they were a child. They really enjoy their time together all these years.

In their 13years. Tan has found out that he falls in love with Lin. When he saw Lin, his heartbeat so fast. He very happy when Lin smiles at him but he never shows that he does. One day, he tries to confess to her but she has left. Lin has left since last night because her parents have a traveling business. She tries to tell Tan but she can't. She feels so sorry for Tan that she doesn't have a chance to tell him.

Tan always come and wait for Lin as always. One one day, there has a different family moves in. Tan told his butler to inquire why there has a different family move in. The butler goes to asked and finds out that Lin has moved out and sold this house already. Tan feels unwell and silent from the moment he hear about it.

After that day, Tan becomes more quiet than usual. He becomes more talk less than before and even his lively face becomes grooming. He does not talk to anyone. He becomes less talkative at school and even at home. He always celebrates Lin's birthday every year and buys the thing that she likes. He even has stock room to stock the gift that he purchased. He ever tries to forget everything but it still useless. Every time Tan misses her, he always watches the old picture of him and her. After watching all those old pictures, nothing changes she is gone.

Until one day, there has one person come and asked him to be his friend. He is called Zhi Hang.

Zhi Hang is the son of the Zhi family. He is the last child and beloved child as well. He is the kind that likes to make trouble. He doesn't even care about his studies. He is like to befriend with Tan. There has no one in his class that wants to go near Tan or asked him to be a friend because Tan comes from a powerful family of X-city and also he has never smile nor speak. When Hang asked him to be his friends, everyone stared at him and whisper.

He glared at them and speak “What wrong with you guys, huh?”.

“Are y’all gone mad or something” he continues. “Didn’t all of ya never see someone make friends?”, “Are all of your piss or something?” he continued to ask. “If you don't like or feel bad, just f**k off and don't show your face cuz I’m afraid that You'll throw or somethin’?” he shouted out loudly with a scary face and everyone silent.

After finish talking, he turns back to Tan and changes his facial expression. He smiles and continued to ask Tan to be his friend. At first, he got reject and then try again and again until Tan accepted. This is the first time that Tan pisses off by someone. Hang is like asking. He asked Tan whatever he wants to. Tan also wonders why Hang wants to befriend him and he asked.

“Why u want to befriend with me?” “Tan asked.

Hang said, “Because you are strange.”

Tan continues to ask, “Strange what?”

Hang reply “Nothing, just u are strange and that's all.”

After they spend a lot of time, they become best friends. He likes to taste Tan and talk about the bad stuff. Hang has gone to Tan’s house for several time but the strange thing is Tan never let him go to his room. One day, when Tango takes a shower and it is time for dinner. His mom asked Hang to called him to eat dinner. When he arrived at Tan’s room, he knocked on the door but no one reply. Then he opens the door and he saw the status on the table. The picture there are two kids one is a boy and another is a girl. He can guess that the little boy in the picture is Tan but he really serious about the little girl.

“Who is this girl?”

“Is she Tan’s sister or girlfriend?”

“Oh?wait...girlfriend, huh?”

“Maybe not, maybe it just what I imagined.”

“How can a 5-year kid have a girlfriend?”

“It is impossible, right?” he thinks.

At that moment, there has someone behind him and take that status away. It is Tan. He looks unhappy about it.

“ Don't touch it!”

“ You can do anything and touch anything in this house but this status, you can't!” speak by Tan.

“ Hey, calm down dude. What wrong you?”

“...”

“ Ok ok. I promise I will not touch anything without permission. Are you happy now?”

“...”

“ Well... I just come to call you to eat dinner”

“By the way, I really serious, who is she?”

“ I mean the one in that status” Hang asking.

“Sh...she... is an important person” Tan reply with a dim face.

Hang saw this, he stops asked any question because he can tell by Tan’s face that it is uneasy to answer his questions.

“Oh right!!! I forget!!! Let’s go to eat dinner, don’t let your mom waiting!!!!!!” speak by Hang.

Even though, Hang still serious about the girl in the pictures and never asked anyone because of two things. One is he doesn't want to disturb Tan and another is he think that the girl in the picture is a sister or relative that already passed away.

It's already been 7 years now. Time passes so fast, just like the blink of an eye. Everything has changed, no matter what happens. She'll always have a place in Tan's heart. He can't forget her, he has tried many times but he can't forget her no matter how hard he tries.

The weather is good today but Tan still lives in darkness . How many years has he had to live in this dark world? He had a dream of her again. Tan’s thinking, ” What time it is now? It is already 6 am, I should hurry and go to eat. ”

When Tan goes downstairs, Hang is waiting for him in the living room. He always comes to get Tan every weekend. To be honest, Tan still doesn't really know why they became such good friends, considering one is an ice cube and another is a free spirit. But they still became good friends.

Hang saw Tan come down and he said

“You are late today.”

” Why don't you talk?”

” Welp, I'm kidding.”

Tan’s not feeling well because he had a dream about her. Hang continued asking

” Did you eat anything yet?”

” I just finished preparing.” Tan answered.

” What do you wanna eat, Tan?”

”...Anything is fine.”

” What about spicy food?”

”...”

” Dude! Don't tell me you still can't eat spicy food?!!!”

” Hmm...”

”Tan doesn't seem to like spicy since I was met him.” Hang thought. And he continues

” let's eat soup today then!”

” Ok.”

One hour later, they finished eating and Hang got another plan in his head.

” Tan!”

” yes?”

” Do you wanna watch movies?”

At first, Tan was confused many but still, in the end, he accepted Hang’s request.

When they arrive at XXXMall. Suddenly Tan get socked because he saw uncle and aunt Nim.

He told Hang that he's to use the bathroom. He keeps following uncle and aunt’s Nim secretly and he heard the word ”Lin”.

” Lin! Sorry that mom and dad kept you waiting.”

He feels butterflies in his stomach because he finally met her again. He started to walk to her but when she turned around, he saw a baby in her arms. The baby is around 2-3 years old and there was a man around hes age standing near her.

Tan turned gloomy because he thought that she already married and had a child as well. He turned back as all the spirit in his body was drained.

Hang was waiting for so long he got worried. He tries to calls but there was no answer.

Meanwhile, he saw a noisy crowd. He goes there and takes a look. One man’s beating another man uncontrolably and that man’s Tan.

Hang hurried to stop Tan and got hit by Tan. He tries to stop Tan but can't. All he can do is fight back. Hang keeps trying to fight and keeps shouting to make Tan wake up. Tan only said one sentence

” I told you to apologise, and yet you piss me off!.”

The man had bumped into Ta and that man was not sorry after bumping into him. When Tan’s pissed he becomes crazy. His mind turns blank.

Hang tries to shout again, ” open your f**kin eyes and look who at me?!!!”

Tan suddenly stops his onsluaght. He goes to the parking lot and takes his car then drives home. He said nothing and let Hang be. Hang called his chauffeur to pick him up. He was a bit shocked seeing this side of Tan. Because he only knew the ice cube man but not this berserker.

When Tan arrived home, his mom comes and asked him

” What happened to your face? Who dares to beat you?”

” There is nothing.”

His dad giggled and said,

” My son finally grew up! Hahaha”

His mom stared and him and said,

” Are you happy to see our son got beat up like this?”

His dad continues,

” Why not? He has been keeping quiet and never got in trouble because he is an ice cube. Isn't it good to be in trouble? If he is born without fighting, how can he be a man? The more trouble he gets in, the more experienced he gets. Getting into trouble is not always a bad thing. He's all grown up now. I'm proud of you son.”

His mom quietens a bit because her husband gave her a good explanation. She continued asking,

” What is really happening, Tan?”

” Don't hide it from me and tell me honestly.”

Tan is quiet for a while and tells her,

” I saw Lin...”

His parents become quiet and don't react because they know the reason after hearing Tan. His mom calls a doctor to give him a bandage and told him to take a rest after the doctor finishes.

The next day, Hang came to play at his house and asked him what really happened. He is really serious as he asked,

” Do you have any secrets that you hid from me?”

” You can tell me if you don't mind.”

Tan looks at him and asks back,

” Do you really want to know?”

Hang replies, ” Yes.”

After hearing everything, Hang becomes more understanding about Tan and he feels sorry after hearing that.
