A beautiful princess walked by the rose shrubs gently touching each leafs, she stopped as if something catches her attention, a gray colored rose knowing that its half whithered, she gently pulled the rose from the shrubs but as she pull the rose the petals fell and as it fall the gray petal turned into dust, she kneeled and gently caress the remaining petals and said "your so beautiful".

her maid ran to her yelling "my lady!! please dont sit on the ground.. its so dirty". the maid helped her to rise up and cleaned her dress "my lady.. please dont sit on the ground its so dirty" the princess laughed "hahaha.. I know leyla. thank you" your welcome my lady.. and by the way my lady your father is calling you.. its time to eat". yes please help me change".

they entered the palace and beautiful chandeliers greeted her, a carpet maid of pure silk, the walls and ceiling colored white with a hint of gold. she walked throught the stairs and headed to her room, her maids opened the doors for her and she said "thank you". the maids smiled full of happiness as their beloved princess thanked them.

princess carmen the only daughter and only princess of valia. everyone loved her because of her beauty and kindness, her father king john and her mother queen erlita feels so lucky having her as their daughter. she loves music as if its the only thing that can calm her whenever her father go to war.

the night came and the moon was so blue the light came into her rooms window, she sang her favorite song and danced in the moonlight, but a shadow passed through the light and grabbed her attention. she gazed through the window and said "what is that?".

she thought that it was just a bird. she changed to her sleeping clothes and slept on the bed.

the morning came and the sun greeted her.

her maids prepared her dress and helped herbput them on. as she go out of her room, she saw the maids preparing something special, she asked her maid "whats happening?" the maid replied her "my lady.. the king wants to build an opera house for the people" dad is really a good father and king "thats true my lady.. without the king the kingdom will fall". and carmen smiled.

She looked outside through the hall window and saw a beutiful structure near the garden, its walls made of stones the stage made of the hardest wood. unlike any other structure, its open for the public. she gently walked towards the dining room and saw her parents sitting, "goodmorning father " good morning my dear" she sat down and said "father. why do you want to build an opera house?" well my dear.. me and your mother wants to enjoy and the people of valia needs entertainment so I decided to build an opera house" father.. your a good man" and her mother said "my dear your father will always be a good man.. as long as we have you. were happy.

The moon was high and shining so brightly. so bright that you can see things through the night. Carmen walked through the garden with her maid with her. she saw a carriage dropping off a man near the opera house, the man is wearing a blackcoat and his white skin can easily noticed cause of the light from the house. but as she walk closely to the man, A carriage passed by and blocked her sight. but as she look once more, the man disappeared. then a thought came up to her mind, "who is he".

Days passed by and an event was held in the opera house. Carmen and her family came to the house and sat on the royal chair. the host came out and welcomed the guest, then after the welcome greet he called Cecil. Cecil came out with hes beauty, Carmen was surprised seing the man she saw that night. she gently clapped as the man bowed to them. lights put out and the orchestra came out and positioned where they should be. Cecil stands firm at the center of the stage and started singing; hes voice was so warm and gentle, caressing each ones heart, so beautiful it catches everyone's attention. every words was sang beautifully, his hands waves like a wing touching the air freely. at the last part he lets go of a sound high enough to let everyone hear but low enough to show hes emotions. and the show ended and the curtaind fell. but as the curtains fall, no smile was shown from hes face as if hes emotionless.

The next day came and Carmen checked if Cecil is still there. but no one can be seen inside the house. she walked towards the stage, but as she come closer she noticed a rose placed at the center. she climbed the stairs and walked towards the rose. she kneeled, but as she tries to grab the rose it faded and turned into a dust, then she asked "why?" but no answers can be heard, she noticed a paper near where the rose once been. she picked the paper and read the words "your so beautiful". she heard her maids calling out for her, she gently rose up and tidy her dress and went out the house.

the afternoon came and she sat down the bench near a rose bush, she then once again read the letter she found in the house and smiled. she turned the paper and wrote a reply saying "thank you". she found a rose and gently pulled it from the bush, but the spike from the rose pierced her finger causing her to bleed, but it didn't stop her. she placed the rose and the paper in the bench, but some of her blood stained the paper.

The night came and Cecil found the paper and the rose sitting in the bench. he could smell a human blood from the paper, he gently picked the paper and the rose and read her reply saying "thank you". he smelled the paper and smiled, "sweet scent".

Autumn came, and cold breeze can already be felt. Carmen's 18th birth day came, and it is time for her to be officially be the crown princess even though she's the only daughter her parents made sure her position. and it is a good decision, for she is love by everyone. no one disagreed even though shes a woman. she could be the first woman who ruled the kingdom.

its a happy time, but theres something caught her attention. a man in the corner wearing a mask. she came close and asked "why are you wearing a mask?". the man bowed and answered. "I would like to keep my identity secret". the man stands firmly, reached out hes hand and asked her "my lady, may i?".

Carmen said yes without hesitating. just exactly when the music started. they danced, soft and intimate. the king saw her daughter dancing with a man intimately, but he didnt dare interrupt. he thought just how good it, not how bad it is.

the time came for the man to go. he gave respect to carmen and said goodbye leaving a thorned rose. when carmen was about to ask hes name, he left. she felt disappointed, but she know its ok cause she knows they'll meet again... soon.

the party ended and it was time for her to prepare before going to bed. she gazed outside of her window and saw a beautiful moon. so clear, so bright, so beautiful. she took out her canvas and pencil, she sketched the moon but as soon as she was going to the most beautiful part. the moon was already covered with clouds. she placed the unfinished sketch next to her closet and slept.

next day came. and its time for her to be trained. trained to be a ruler. her father called for a meeting cause of the troubles about bandits. she sat next to her father and listened carefully, but something came up to her mind. its about the man she met. just how wonderful if we could meet again she whispered in the air. her father noticed her saying something and ask "what is it my child" she was surprised and blankly answered " we should have improve our military power ". her father and the others noods and agreed to her. even though its not a answer that were thought through.

the meeting ended, and she headed out to the garden hoping to see the man. even though its impossible. she sat to her favorite bench, took out a paper and fountain pen and wrote a letter. saying "its me. hope we can meet again, its nearly winter and itll be cold hope before the season change we can meet".

she saw a rose and saw it has thorns. she gently pulled it and got splinters in her finger. byt this time its different, shes the one who wounded her self. she cutted the thorn to her finger and dripped three drops of blood in the letter. even though it hurts, she endured. hoping this letter will be Noticed.
