Her eyes look like the moon white with a hint of Gray. Her hair the color of the night sky. They thought that she was the embodiment of the night, but they know very little of her. She never spoke a word or made a sound in the company of others, but if you kept your window open at midnight you could hear her sing you a song. It was always a song filled with sadness and pain. It even gave some of them nightmares as if her voice brought out the monsters within people. It didn't help that her name is Luna. The people in the town slowly started to fear her ways. She would go get the same coffee and read in the corner until 12 p.m. Then she would go buy groceries till 2. Her whole life was on the schedule and she rarely ever changed it. The people wouldn't say anything fearing that she might be wealthy and not wanting to get in trouble. Until one day people's kids started disappearing in the middle of the night. They decided to burn her on the stake accusing her of taking the missing children. Some tried to do the right thing and find evidence. They arrived at her house with a warrant but none wanted to approach her house. The entrance was a big gothic gate with vines growing on it. Once you passed the gate there were roses white and red separated by one sidewalk. The house itself was a big white mansion with towers and a sky deck which had ravens on every ledge watching their every move. She opened the door after they approached the porch and let them in. Luna showed them every room, even the hidden ones and her cellar. They found nothing but as more kids went missing the townsfolk started to harass her. They would ban her from their stores and beat her to the point that she had to be hospitalized. After the 25th kid went missing they kidnapped her during her daily routine. They tied her to the stake in the town center and burned her alive. She made no sounds as her skin burned off of her, but ravens slowly appeared one after another. The kids were found in the mayor's mansion 2 weeks later. No one in town was charged with the murder of Luna. The ravens never left the area where she was burned as if they were kept there by some unseen force. The tide in town receded slowly more and more each day. The people tried to get rid of the ravens and tried to burn her house to the ground but were attacked by said ravens. One person said you could still hear her singing at midnight but only if you are by the town center. One of the girls that was kidnapped approached the town center where the stake was. When she got there the ravens watched her as she started to cry and in the background you could hear her mother yelling at her to get away from there. The mother was about to yank the child away from the stake when a raven stopped her. Then out of nowhere you hear a voice singing,” please don't cry dear child, dear child. I'm not here dear child, dear child. Don't waste your tears dear child, dear child. Forget me dear child, dear child. You'll soon see dear child, dear child. That love is here dear child, dear child. Please dear child don't run away. Please dear child hold your anger at Bay. Dear child don't cry for me. They will come to see.” The voice left just as quickly as it had appeared, but it calmed the child down. The rest of the town's people were frightened by this display. Little did they know that her actions were saving town as the tide rose to normal level. Unfortunately the mother did not look kindly on the scene instead she had called a mental hospital to take her kid and get her evaluated. They ended up blocking her up because she wanted Justice for Luna. The ravens left the town square and now sit on the institution. She was 18 when they decided to release her but she had completely changed, turning her hair white and eyes black as night. Also she disowned her family and wouldn't speak a word. She was outcasted just like Luna but unlike her she had the friendship of the other 24 kids that were kidnapped with her. Thus a cycle broken by kindness
