{Beautiful dream with meaning of life}
It was time; the school bell had just rung when I ran as fast as possible to meet my friends. I entered the lively green forest where trees were moving and their leaves were of rain drops falling gracefully. I walked to my secret place, a clearing in the forest with a tree house. Right as I entered the grounds, someone took my red umbrella from my hands and threw it to a branch. I looked around but found no one so I laughed cheerfully.
“Is that you non-existent?” and I felt a breeze. I laughed. He/she was my friend, the friend I could neither touch nor see but was able to feel and was someone who could fill a fragment of my heart. “That must be you. Where are the others?” As I soon said those words, a breeze flew through the forest telling me that he has gone to call them.
I stood there waiting and I looked up at the umbrella which had flown away from my hand and I smiled. “He’s gotta get it down for me.” I went up to the tree house and placed my school bag awaiting my close friends. I looked around and took my drawing supplies decorating the tree house drawing all my friends and myself as a family.
As I was doing so, I heard a thump and I looked outside through the tree house window and I saw the log.
The log was another one of my closest friends who always took me on a marvelous adventure. I went down through the ladder and went to the log and asked, “What adventure have you prepared for me today?”
It replied with its deep voice, “Get on and you will see.”
I got onto the log and sat hugging it. It flew across the deep green lively forest and across the gushing water of the stream which glistened in the light rays of sunshine from above. It was so clear and pure it made me smile to my cheekbones. As we flew past, I saw the magnificent scenery unknown to others. Birds flew around and sat down on the sides of the log and I brushed them softly while they chirped. It was a beautiful melody.
The log took me outside and into the real world. I looked around me. There were birds on the either side of the log chirping melodically and there was a bridge ahead of me and water below me with boats and the sun was seen reflected. On either side of me were tall buildings which matched every aesthetic. It was a sight to see. So magical like in those fairytales. I couldn’t stop myself from looking and smiling. It was the best time of my life ever. I hugged the log tighter because I was so happy to see the sight.
Unfortunately all adventures had to come to an end, the log took me back to our secret place and I got up from the log a bit sad that it had to end. “That was magnificent! I loved it. Let’s go on that journey once again tomorrow!” The log said, “As you wish, my friend.”
“You promise?” He spoke once again with a deep voice, “I do.”
While our conversation went on, came our other friends. We decided to play hide and seek. I was to hide. A few minutes after hiding I heard footsteps. I looked out through a tiny hole in my hiding space to see a tall yellow legged monster with scars and a yellow bulldozer. They searched around the area and found my non-existence friend and it ate him. I covered my mouth from gasping at the sight. Tears arose in my eyes at the thought and feel of my friend no longer giving breeze. Tears fell at the demise of my friend.
They looked around more and found the log which was taken by the bull dozer. Suddenly I wanted to reach out. But they already finished him off and tears began falling and I cried so hard. I had him no longer to take me on adventures.
I thought, “How could this happen… You broke our promise forever now… How could you leave me alone?” And a gush of tears fell out of my once shining eyes.”
I saw them as they finished off all my friends before they left. They once came close to me but they didn’t discover me. I went outside to the once filled with friends’ grounds and stood there alone.
I didn’t see the trees dancing or the rain drop leaf. I couldn’t see the flying log nor feel the breeze of my non-existent friend. The red umbrella was still on the branch I could never reach and will always probably be. Without him, what’s the use of taking it, the memory filled umbrella. The sand didn’t rise from the ground nor did I feel the heat. It was cold and I was alone. My heart beat quickly and I suddenly opened my eyes.
I looked around the room and then at the ceiling. I looked at the pillow in which my tears had fallen and I wiped it away quickly. Even though it was a dream, everything was so vivid and made me heartbroken. I cried for a few minutes awake before I decided to get up.
