Ayden is a tourist visiting a new place that he always wanted to go to. While at the trip, he first saw a guy looking at him, he at first, ignored and continued to take some shots. But then at another time, they bumped with each other again. The guy still kept gazing at him although he felt uncomfortable, he stared at him back staring at each other and competing who gets to blink first. The next minute, the guy gave up and finally blinked laughing a glee at their nice match of staring contest.
He walked to Ayden and asked, "Want to go to the cabin together?"
Ayden could now see his handsome features clearly now that the guy walked closer to him. His dark brown hair was similar to the bark of a spruce tree back in his place that's surrounded with forests and the guy has some bulky figure that he couldn't help but wonder how many times he went to the gym before and don't even get him started with the guys' eyes that he, himself had been staring for so long at their staring match, it was even more charming with green eyes as his iris were shaded in grey.
Seeing the guy standing in front of him patiently with a smile he replied "Okay then, I'm fine with it" as he started to walk at the cabins direction.
While on their way to go to the cabin where tourists usually book for temporary stay at the place.
The guy and Ayden chatted for a bit about some nonsensical questions for each other until they arrived to one of the cabins. Luckily, it wasn't that full like in the other cabins.
Ayden really liked how people in the place were nice and welcoming.
He got to his room and just sat at the bed for a moment.
He stared at nothing in particular but he was just sitting there unmovable, until his door got a knock. He shifted his gaze to the door and sat up to open it. He saw the guy from earlier again.
He was about to ask, 'How did you know where my room is?' but he was beaten to it and the guy introduced himself with a smile.
"Hi! I'm Oliver, nice to meet you." greeted the guy with a smile he was ever so familiar with,
"You're that guy from ealier wow, nice to meet you too...I'm Ayden." he said returning his greeting.
After that, Oliver's smile glowed a bit more. It startled him that he couldn't help but widen his eyes.
"Want to have a dinner with me?" suggested Oliver as his smile became a little awkward.
Ayden didn't really mind and replied, "Okay where to?"
He'd like to test this guy's personality. He seems like a bright man though, must be here for a vacation for being too nice to people, is what he thought while looking at Oliver's awkward smile that he found a bit funny.
Oliver gazed at Ayden for a moment and his smile widened like before.
"I heard of a restaurant near by here. Let's go there." said Oliver while walking to the stairs and Ayden naturally followed from behind.
Ayden could see how Oliver were pretty much excited about eating dinner with him. Nonetheless, he was also happy that he got a new friend.
They arrived at the restaurant and they sat there quietly for a second. Ayden could feel Oliver's nervousness across his seat.
"Uh...what do like for dinner?" Oliver asked, his nervousness echoed in his voice but he still smiled.
Ayden found it a little entertaining to watch a guy trying hard not to get things awkward and will keep using a smile to fix it.
"You pick." he responded.
Oliver stared at the menu intently, searching for a good dinner to eat. But Ayden could still notice his nervousness and he just didn't know what he was nervous about.
Ayden sat there staring at him with his chin placed at his hands lazily. Oliver noticed the others gaze getting nervous a bit more as Ayden subconsciously smiled slightly.
"What are you staring at?" asked Oliver but he was still looking at the menu.
"No, it's nothing. I was just thinking why you'd always stare at me back at the scenery." Oliver puffed red in embarassment and he was startled by his reaction. He definitely did not expect this reaction from Oliver. But he did found it cute for such a muscular man to blush.
Oliver laughed it off and then replied, "Well, I just thought how handsome you are" he shrugged but was truly genuine about his compliment. He really admired how good-looking Ayden was.
Ayden laughed at his words before saying, "Seriously? Not at all, not at all" while swaying his hands left to right. "You must have completely seen it wrong" he laughed at the end.
"I think it was yourself who've seen yourself wrong the whole time. I mean, can you look at the ladies at the corner?" while furrowing his brows pointing at them and it was true.
The ladies were whispering and giggling looking at their direction. Ayden showed a wide grin as he leaned closer to Oliver raising one eyebrow with a grin. "I don't know Mr. Oliver but I think you were the one who's missing it, hm?"
Oliver looked at Ayden puzzled about what he meant. Seeing this, Ayden chuckled with his hands pointing at Oliver and the other one squishing his own cheeks with his palm making Oliver smile with a slight blush. If Oliver were to have a tail then it would be wagging uncontrollably in adoration.
"Look it's not me that they're calling handsome. It's you" Ayden smiled at Oliver nodding internally as he did truly agree with the ladies at the corner. "Not only that but they are even calling you hot" he remarked rather enthusiastic.
Oliver laughed nervously with his eyebrows kneading upwards embarassed about it...he didn't expect it to be him that the ladies were actually talking about.
Oliver continued to look at the menu with a small smile. "Well I guess you're right. You're actually very pretty rather than being handsome" Oliver murmured almost inaudible with a half-smile contented about the word pretty. It really did ring the right bell when describing Ayden.
Hearing Oliver talking but he couldn't hear it properly he looked at Oliver rather clueless. "I'm sorry, what were you saying?"
Oliver showed a charming smile looking at a stunned Ayden who was taken-aback to have faced with such brightness, "Nothing, I wanted to ask you if it's okay to meet each other again for tomorrow," suggested Oliver with an invisible dog ears standing in its highest.
"Sure..." Ayden replied as he found himself lost in thought by his smile. Not gonna lie, that smile sure did work the atmosphere to be bright in an instant and it sure did work on him too.
The two had a lot of fun that night. They chatted with both the same nonsensical conversations and ate their dinner with a candlelight at the center of their table as if they were having a date. Truly the nice time at their first day at the famous victorian town.
