I've written they, he and she to make it clear who is speaking.
-----○●○-----
Legend has it, that an invisible red thread connects those who are fated to be
lovers and destined to be
together, regardless of the time,
place or circumstances.
The thread may stretch or tangle but it will never break.
--○▪︎○--
(They both)
"Suddenly we could hear each
other's voices, feel each other's presence even in the absence of the other.
We knew we were not present physically, but
we were still connected.
Seems like we fell for each other too hard."
•-•
Two young people slowly came close
and finally became one.
Their relationship went through many
ups and down but they
didn't break apart. Why? Because the red thread was still connected.
•-•
Abruptly something goes wrong.
-•><•-
A bouquet of white chrysanthemums
is found on the table with
a note under it.
It had a red thread connected to it
that was cut in half.
•-•
(He)
The Note Read:-
"You know my love, what matters to me the most? Your Happiness.
Even if it means to disappear from your
life. I know it's hard,
but it's the fate. I'm helpless my love. Please do not blame yourself. Okay..?"
•-•
(She)
A tear drop escape the eye, followed by the rest of waterfall trailing down
the cheeks, as the note falls down on the floor.
After a moment of sobbing along
with the rainfall from the sky, as if the nature can understand what is in the
heart, a complete silence envelopes the surrounding with a bitter
coldness in it. There is nothing left except
the coldness and a dead silence.
•-•
On the day of the funeral.
-•><•-
(She)
"The leaves of willow tree sway with the cold breeze in this warm weather.
The world is blooming beautifully under the reign of the Spring.
So colorful and warm.
But my world, it is covered with harsh
white winter.
I miss your warm embrace, your smile, your laughter, your scoldings, your presence,
your...... everything.....
Can we not be together again, my love?
Why must you have to leave
me alone like this?
Did you not think once before leaving, how will I survive with you?
If I can't live with you, then I must be buried with you. Atleast that way we can
be together, atleast in
that world."
•-•
Suddenly the world stops and a figure appears infront of the eyes.
-•><•-
(He)
"No my love, you have to live on, continue your life, without me.
I know that I'm your life, but that is not
how is it.
•-•
(He)
The figure raises the pinky finger.
-•><•-
(He)
"Now promise me my love, that you will live and happy and peaceful life.
I know you are my strong woman.
Aren't you?"
•-•
(She)
In response the pinky is raised, and then both the fingers intertwine.
That is how a promise is made.
Tears trail down the cheeks as the figure infront, slowly fades away.
The world resumes.
•-•
Nobody knows what happened between
them that day.
The one that is left behind, continues to
live on, as per the promise.
The thread that was one connected is
now cut in half in the middle, and cannot be connected again.
--○▪︎○--
This is how the world works. This is how the fate and destiny works.
No one can escape them, no matter what.
