She smiles as she looks back while holding her Mexican hat smiling to her parents not minding what will happen the next morning without her loving mother and protective father.
Her dog Cloud was by her side at that time and he was looking afar where he thinks his little girl will go. He was looking forward for the departure of his owner to make her dreams come true but he was still not prepared at that time.
It was late afternoon and she left. Cloud was still sitting there not minding the mosquitoes biting him. He was waiting for the time she'll come back.
Days, weeks, months and years had past by but she never came back. He was still waiting and every time, the year ended. He was getting sadder and sadder.
Where is his owner? Why didn't she come back? He's worried. More worried than his owner's parents. It's 1956, it's been ten years since that little girl left home for her dreams. And he was still there waiting.
He's getting older. And by the time she'll come back, he knows he won't be able to meet her, greet her and kiss her. He slowly closes his eyes and whispers in his mind his last wish that she'll come back. In his last breath he sees the glimpse of her face running towards him. He was happy at least for ten years of wishes, his last wish came true.
She left yet never forgets the past, she left but when she came back lots of changes happened and the vintage past that happened long time ago will never happen again.
