Dear Korobu,
life seems to have changed alot. Quiet often in that forest of fireflies I see myself drowned in the flashback of us. I still vividlly remember the time when I saw you for the first time. Those little moments of ours are never to be forgotten.If the best thing that ever happen to me was to be asked, it might have been you. How I wish I can grow old with you. But the fate was never mended for us. The time seems to be arriving to it's destination in my world. In this last moment of life, I thank you for being my happiness and reasons for my smile.
In the goal to pursue your love back, I did alot of mistakes, but if a after life exist I would like to give up on you and start a life without you. I would like to never meet you again........

During my first life, I killed myself for him. In my second life, in greed for his majesty's love I planned to kill consort Yuru to whom he gave his heart and was got killed by him.
Whole of my previous life was dedicated to that person who couldn't love me back, but this life is a blessing in disguise. I won't repeat it again. I will live a life for myself. A life where I won't suffer again. "

"The emperor is entering"
Though our marriage was another agreement for him but for me it was what I dreamt of since the day I met him as a simple prince in that forest of fireflies.
My mother had passed away, when I was born.
Eversince then my father never remarried and was always alone and sad. Whenever I asked him why don't he marry again?
He would just simply say, "In our life, we give our true love to a person and i have already given it to your mother."
I had just wanted a simple life with love and people around. I never wanted the title empress nor a big courtyard to rule. I just wanted a simple life with him.
"Empress you look pale today, are you okay?"
"I am just feeling a little dizzy. Please excuse me"
My sudden change might have shock them and they thought it was another trick to gain his majesty's attention.
But I didn't care it anymore. After three days we have a royal camp in mountains. During the travel time, I will send a letter to my brother and before anyone can notice, the empress will be gone. I will return to my home and live with my brother and my father.
Three days later.
As I enter my carriage, I waved a final goodbye with a sigh to the courtyard that was never made for me.
"My lady, this is a beautiful route, we may reach sooner in this pace. His majesty have taken the other route"
This was the right oppurtunity to run away.
I think I have reach far enough
"What do you think you are, even if I am the eldest, father never looked at me because of you. The real owner of the throne is me"
As I seek behind from the woods the eldest prince was about to kill his majesty, from a far sight a woman appeared, to my surprise it was consort Yuru, the girl whom I sacrifice my love.
Yu...ru........go away...this..peo..ple....will...kill.. you too.."
"Your majesty"Yuru came head his majesty and hugged him.
The moment later blood oozed out from his majesty's mouth and the second, Yuru smiled wickedly and pushed him from the cliff with the last word " Goodbye brother-in-law"
Though I was to pretent that it was none of my business, yet my love for him was just buried deep inside.
Seeing him like that made me step in without a second thought. I also jumped down the cliff and hugged him in the air.
"Why...you?"
"Though no one is with you, I will be with you till the end."
We seems to have landed on the hay for we were still breathing.
We found ourself a cave for shelter. The great warrior, who was a hero in battelfield seems to have fainted and for past few days we stayed there in hideout.
Three days later
"Your majesty, you have been in coma for three days. I am worried that if we return back to palace, your health and situation might worsen. It would be nice if we can stay here for few days. About the palace I have send letter to general Lolo and Prince Ning about the situation. You must rest your majesty, I will go and return before dusk. Excuse me."
On the bank of river, there is a smell of sweet potatoes that without my notice it aave become dusk, and a green bulb was glowing. Slowly, the glow increased its number I found myslef lost in my world with these fireflies.
"What are you still doing here?"
My dream was strong that I didn't realized his majesty have came near me.
"Shhh.... you will distrub them"
Like an old couple who have seen world together, we sat down and watched the fireflies.
"Your majesty do you know the place where we first meet was in the forest of fireflies. Those past was wonderful."
The ancient Japanese called them Hotaru which is my name. They believed that fireflies represent a search for true love for they believed it glows to find the one for them. How wonderful this little creatures are, as if lifted my hand a clover leaf have come along with it. "We all know that four leaf clover represents luck but only few people knows about three clover leaf. Three clover leaf represents happiness".
As I was about to pluck the four leaf clover, his majesty gave me a red clover and said, "I dont know anything, except that red clover symbolises hope for a new beginning."
Without saying anything, I just stood up and left.I have already decided not to be old me, however things keep getting me.
"We will be returning to the palace day after tomorrow your majesty."
In this two days of time, I avoided him. In this life I wanted to cherish myself with people who loves me, not to whom I once beg for love.
on a final day right after eating breakfast, we started our journey.
Upon reaching at one of the cliff we took rest for I was tried my hands and legs were feeling numb and was massaging it.
"Let me help you."
The empeor took his hand and started massaging at my shoulder. I was shock by both his words and move but I let him do it because it reminded me of our childhood days when he would protect me
When we were about to start our journey again,
"dear brother how unlucky that you didn't die" came a voice from a behind. It was the eldest prince accompanied by Yuru and general Lolo.
"Lolo I have never expected this from you" I said in disheartenly."
Then when the empeor was about to took gis sword out, the eldest prince warn him.
"Nono brother you cannot do this to me"
"Your people are under us, I hope you don't mind to see them die" said Yuru.
"What does you exactly want?"
"Your death"
"If thats what you want, then I shall die but promise me you will spare all my people and the empress."
"Thats the deal brother"
For the moment, I was stunned and didnt knew what to do. Tears were unfolding. Infact everyone was crying.
"Let me have a farewell talk with his majesty, your eldest prince"
"Ah!!! Go ahead, let gis soul get some peace after death was the reply"
"Your majesty", I said hugging him while tears wers still rolling from my cheeks.
"Our story might have been different if you were not king, if I was not the empress and if we were born in a far away land. Seems like in this life also my fate with death was already written. Try to forgive general Lolo, he had treated us like his own child from the childhood itslef, I am sure he did under no choice.Today if I am the one to die, I have a request for you. I want to have a good death, don't take my body to the palace, it is the place which I never cherish. If yoi found my bady please burry me under the tree where I first saw you. I have loved you for decades but thank you for not loving me, I dont wish to see you like my father when you reached at his age."
And before the empeor and anyother can make sense of what I was talking, I realese him, took the hand of both Yuru and the eldest prince's and jumped through cliff. This time I found no hay to save us too which I felt thankful to god.
Back at the top before closing my final eyes I gave his majesty a final farewell wave. I saw him for the last time crying and yelling through my name and I thank god for atleast he was crying for my dead unlike my previous lifes.
"Thank you....majesty.....for.....crying..."

You were the sunshine that I was lucky to have. I first saw you beating and bullying my friends, I have envy you since then. It was a month earlier then you saw me. I have loved you more than your father and love you aather. Every funny acts of yours were the
things that made me smile and rest assure.
About the rebirths I have known it earlier, it was the chance that I asked for god to gave me. After first death I feel burdrn and deep inside me for not sharing my feelings. At second rebirth I loved you even more, when you felt jealous. I loved it so much that I started to make you even more jealous but that made you loss your identity. I didn't wished to kill you but the situation and aaw demanded. After your death, I also accompanied you however god was pitiful enough to allow a life with you again. However Karma was a bit cruel. During our next life, I want to met you again, I want us to fall in love again, but far away from this palace to afar place where the shadow of palace can never reached
