when I was on my knees and looked inside the pipe.
there was a dead body facing towards the pipe. its flush was half eaten by the flesh flies. looking at that body made me vomit and there was huge amount of thioacetone sprayed, which made me feel even worse.
the next thing I knew, the place was swarming with police. a few constables went and took out the body from drain ditch, they covered it with a cloth. since she was lifeless her hand fell out of the cloth and that's when I observed a ring.
I explained the whole story to one of the detective.
he said, "street view? oh, you mean the thing on online maps that lets you look around the street?"
he zoomed out and zoomed in the image and said what he thought " judging by the way her hand is reaching upwards, it looks like she was still alive when the photo was taken in 2020..
there's also a street view photo of the same shot taken back in 2017. but there's no hand in that one. I'll have someone contact the website and find out exactly when the photo was taken"
after hearing his conclusion I thought she was probably thrashing her arms around inside the dark pipe, trying to get someone to come and rescue her.
"if you find anything else, please call me right away. we may also ask you to testify in court. you're okay with it right?" the detective said this while u was in deep in my thoughts..
" su..sure anytime.. I just hope this case will be solved soon" I answered him with a little tensed sound in my voice. he just nodded his head and moved away.
the investigation proceeded quickly, and before long, it was all over the news.
