After reading the last document, Hash looked at the time on his wristwatch. "It's almost midnight. I should go home now. Right… she's probably there. I have to meet her—my wife," he thought.
He came out of his office and saw that nobody is there anymore. The guards bowed down to him when they saw him come out. They do not dare say a word to this 'icy' ceo.
The house is quiet, as usual. The lady is already asleep, probably. "Don't tell me she's in my…" his house only have one bedroom because he was living alone.
"What do you think you're doing here?!" He said, his thought was right.
Though laying on the bed quietly, Miwana was still awake and thinking. She was quite startled by that voice and couldn't help but turn to look at the owner.
“He's probably my husband. Though I quite understand that he doesn't want anyone else on his bed, f*ck him for startling me!”
Miwana didn't make it obvious that she was surprised. She really doesn't show any feeling to everyone.
“No woman has ever looked at me the way she does! How can she be emotionless?”
"You have some guts to just stare at me like that. Didn't I ask you?"
"This is the only bedroom in your house. Or do you expect me to sleep anywhere else?" She remained calm and indifferent on the surface, but she was cussing and yelling at him nonstop in her mind.
Hash really doesn't like women and sleeping beside one is unacceptable. Whatever, it's his fault for deciding to have only one bedroom at the beginning. She got a point. Where else would she sleep? She's his wife, so basically his house is also hers now.
Their marriage is really sudden. It actually happened just today. They did not meet formally for it and just signed what's needed. Someone handled everything else for them. This is their first meeting. Marriage of convenience and arrange marriages are almost common in the world they move in. However, it really is hard to marry someone you do not know.
"The couch in the living room is big and comfortable enough to sleep on. Get up from my bed now."
Miwana's blood is actually boiling. He wants her to sleep in the couch when the bed is even big for just two persons? And for his information, she doesn't want to sleep with him either! She wants to murder him more than anyone.
"Where is your mi—eyes? Your bed is large, we can just f*cking sleep together!" Miwana couldn't calm down and she spoke without thinking. She feels disgusted with her own thoughts just a while ago; she thought she could have a good talk with him.
Hash is actually amazed. He never imagined that someone would actually dare be sarcastic with him. He was almost perfect, yet this woman spoke to him like he's a fool.
"…" She knows that she won't get him to sleep on the couch instead if he doesn't like to be with her, but why does she needs to adjust if that's the case? No way.
She suggested to sleep together like it's nothing special while there are countless women who wouldn't mind dying the next day if they could spend the night with him. What the hell is with this woman?!
"There would be plenty of space between us, you don't need to be so fussy."
"I'm sorry about that then, Mrs. Lewis." This is the first time he had to apologize. In his whole life, he thought he could do nothing wrong, but this woman taught him that he's… wrong.
It is indeed embarrassing for someone who realizes they were mistaken for the first time in their life. But for Hash, it is more embarrassing if you do not recognize your own mistakes. He'd honestly loathe someone who wouldn't want to apologize when they know exactly that they were in the wrong.
She never thought he would call him Mrs. Lewis and it was too soon! He even apologized to her and he sounded sincere! Miwana does not want to assume, but could their relationship be good even though it was only a marriage set up by their parents?
