That day was rainy.🌧️
Amy was playing in her garden. Amy's garden was very beautiful. There were flowers all over the garden. As the colourful butterflies parched on the flowers, Amy ran to catch them.
At one time while running she got close to her mother.
She asked, " Eomma, what are you doing?"
Her mother turned around and said, " Baby, I'm planting flower plants."
In the rainy season, the plants suddenly grows fast. With more water, new sprouts grow in the yard.
Suddenly the lighting strike at that time. Amy looks up. Dark and grey clouds started to gather slowly and after a while, the whole sky was covered with clouds. The raindrops started dripping. Amy and her mother went to the verandah to enjoy the rain.
After a while the rain stopped. The sun also rises from the clouds. Amy again ran back to the garden. But while running she stopped and stared at the sky. There was a beautiful coloured bow from one side to another side of the blue sky.
Amy asked her mother while screaming, " What is this , Eomma? "😮
Her mother said, " Baby, this is rainbow. We see this when the sun's rays hit the water droplets in the air.
Amy said, " Eomma, please tell me a story of rainbow!!"( puppy eyes😃)
Her mother started telling a story, " There were seven naughty kids in the heavens. They were fighting all the time among themselves."
"Once they were fighting among themselves and self-deprecating one another."
The red-coloured child said,
"Great, I'm the best,
Where will you find the end?
See apple, tomato, watermelon, pomegranate
There's no end!!"
The orange-coloured child said,
"Wheat, orange, carrot,
my name in all of them.
I do all this work!!"
Again yellow-coloured child said,
"The fruit contains banana, guava
My name in sunflower, rose!!"
Now it's green-coloured child's turn,
" I stay there,
Where there is green
raw mango, tamarind or otherwise green parrot."
Blue-coloured child said while raising hand,
" Look above while raising your head's
How great I'm, absolutely equal to the sky."
Then indigo-coloured child said,
"You see the Peacock's dancing
flowing water, blue lotus,
Only my victory in the lake."
This time,it's the turn of purple-coloured child,
"There are berries, brinjals and grapes
All are my colouring!!"
While they were fighting among themselves, God came at that time.
He said," Little children's, why are you fighting among yourselves? Fighting is not a good thing. Good children's don't fight."
All of them calmed down.
They said the reason of their fighting to God and asked, " Tell us, who is the best among us ?"
God smiled😊 and said, " Children's, you all are equal, together, playing games will make you look and feel better. Aren't you all together create rainbow? No-one can break you all !! "
The children's obeyed his words and then they hold eachothers hands and started playing while laughing in the sky.
When these seven children are seen standing together, the rainbow is seen. Red on top, purple on the bottom. Always in the opposite direction to the sun. Rainbow is never seen in the afternoon. Sometimes twin or double rainbows can be seen. In general, red is at the top and purple is at the bottom. When the double rainbow rises, the sequence in the second rainbow is reversed, that means that red is at the bottom and purple is at the top.
It looks like seven naughty kids are playing together--- sometimes red comes first, sometimes purple.
