"Chalo na Randhir hum kahi milte hai.. Bohot din ho gaye" Sanyukta was convincing Randhir to meet her somewhere on the phone. "Sanyukta.. Mai busy hu.. Mai Nahi aa sakta.." came a pat reply from the arrogant Randhir.. "please..please..please Randhir.." Sanyukta pleaded for sumtym n finally he agreed...
Sanyukta- a cheerful bubbly girl who had just one dream to get the love from Randhir the way she loved him. They were the best of friends.. They knew each and everything about each other except Randhir who didn't know how much Sanyukta loved him... They were on their way to meet in a park Sanyukta thinking to tell him her feelings n Randhir was thinking something else.. they reached the park soon and both met..
S: Randhir mai tumhe kitne dino se milne bula rhi hu aur tum ho ki taale jaa rhe the.. Aisa q krte ho?
R: wo Sanyukta mai sach me busy tha.. Accha chalo wo sab chhodo ye bataao ki yaha q bulaya??
S: wo mujhe tumse kuch baat krni thi..
R: ha bolo na..
Sanyukta was looking here and there trying to give words to her deep feeling but was unable to do so.. He was waiting for her to speak but she couldn’t..
R: Sanyukta ab bologi?? Bolo..
S: wo..Randhir..wo..mai..wo..
R: wo mai wo mai kya kr rhi ho bolo na..
But she was unable and so he left in anger.. As he was going away Sanyukta blurted out "I love u rd.." listening dose words he got shocked.. He never thought so.. She continued "Yes I love u.. Yhi baat kbse kehna chahti thi par tum sunne ko tayyar nhi the.. I know we are best friends par ab kya kare ho gya na pyar" Randhir was looking at her astonishingly.. He took some time to believe what was happening and said "Dekho you are my best friend..but I don’t love u.. I really don’t.. Maine kbhi aisa nhi socha hamare baare me.. I am sorry for breaking your heart.. U deserve much better.. I think I should leave" Sanyukta was in tears by now "nhi Randhir please aisa mat bolo.. I know u like me kuch problem hai to bata do na.."but he didn’t listen to her n left d place.. Sanyukta felt on her knees crying.. She always thought Randhir would love her but he didn’t and that broke Sanyukta into million pieces.. She went out of the park n was walking on d road lifelessly.. A car was ringing the horn from the back but she wasn’t listening.. The car overtook her and the driver said something to her which she didn’t hear.. As she took a turn a truck came from the front and she blew away by d jerk of d truck n fell at a distance.. Her head broke n blood oozed out.. She was on d verge of closing her eyes n she murmured "I love u Randhir" n she closed her eyes.. People gathered around her lifeless body n she was taken to a nearby hospital.. The Dr. diagnosed her n said "sorry she is dead" yes she was dead coz of dat accident n moreover she didn’t want to leave anymore... Her family was informed about the accident n soon Randhir came to know about it..
R: nhi..aisa nhi ho skta.. She cant go away like that.. Ye mazak hai.. Its a bloody joke..
He screamed.. He went to the funeral and saw her dead body.. No tears were left in his eyes to fall.. The funeral process got over..
2-3 days passed like this and Randhir kept himself locked in his room.. He didn’t want to talk to anybody.. On the 3rd day he came out of his room and sat in the hall.. Sometime later he heard a song
"Baatein ye kbhi na tu bhulna
Koi teri khaatir hai jee rha
Jaaye tu kahi bhi ye sochna
Koi teri khatir hai jee rha"
"ye gaana kon gaa rha hai" he ran towards the place from where the voice cameroo.. It was his room indeed.. He was climbing the stairs "ye awaaz jaani pehchaani lag rhi hai.. Are ye to Sanyukta ki.." his dimaag ki batti jali and he ran in his room.. There was a girl standing facing her back to him.. She was singing the song.. "kon ho tum aur yaha kaise aayi?" Randhir asked her. She turned around. Randhir was shocked.. "Sanyukta... Tum to.. Tum zinda ho?" Randhir just blurted out and ran to hug her..
S: nhi rd.. Mai zinda nhi hu.. Mai mar chuki hu.. I am a dead person now..
R: dekho Sanyukta mujhe ye mazak pasand nhi hai..
Sanyukta cupped his face and said "yahi sach hai.. Is mirror me dekho.. Tum ho aur mai nhi" Randhir was completely astounded.. "par ye kaise..ho skta hai?"
S: yhi to ajeeb khel hua hai mere saath Randhir.. Mujhe mukti nhi mili meri ADHURI KHWAAISH ki wajah se..
R: Adhuri khwaish??
S: ha Randhir.. Meri khwaish thi ki tum mujhe wo 3 words bolo.. Tum bhi mujhse pyar kro.. Aur isi khwaish k saath mera accident hua aur mai mar gyi.. Aur meri ye khwaish jb tak puri nhi hoti mujhe mukti nhi milegi.. So Mr. Randhir I am stuck with you now..
R: ha to tum jaana chahti ho to mai abhi bol deta hu..
S: uska koi faaeda nhi hai.. Because you dont love me.. Ab jab tak tumhe mujhse pyar nhi hota mai nhi jaaugi.. Sirf tum hi mujhe sun aur mehsoos kr skte ho..
R: ye kya baat hui yaar??
S: ab jo bhi hai yhi hai tumhari zindagi hai aur meri maut...
Saying this Sanyukta vanished away from the place leaving Randhir astonished..
Next day as he got up from his deep slumber he thought whatever happend at night was a dream but to his surprise Sanyukta was sitting beside him caressing his hair and he got up with a jerk.. "tum phir se yha??" Randhir shouted.. "maine kaha na mai tumhare saath hi rahugi" Sanyukta said calmly.. "dekho mai keh rha hu tum jaao yha sa" Randhir was shouting when his mother entered "beta ye akele kisse baatein kar rhe ho? Tabiyat to thik hai na?" "ha??mom?? Mai wo ye Sanyukta se keh rha tha yha se jaane ke liye jaati hi nhi hai" Randhir blurted.. His mom got worried and came near to him "beta tumhe bohot sadma laga hai Sanyukta ki maut ka.. I know wo tumhari best friend thi.. Lekin ab tumhe accept krna hoga ki wo ab is duniya me nhi hai.. Take care.." and his mom left.. Randhir got irritated by this and shut his door tight.. "ye lo ab yhi baaki tha.. Meri mom mujhe pagal samjh ke gyi sirf tumhari wajah se.. Mai tumhe chhoduga nahi Sanyukta.." he pulled her up pinning to the wall.. Sanyukta inched closer and said "to mat chhodo na.." she smirked.. She inched more close and kissed him.. Randhir was numb.. He couldn’t believe that he kissed an aatma and that too Sanyukta's aatma.. He wasn’t understnding whether to laugh or to cry on his destiny..
Days passed on like this and Sanyukta followed him to every damn place.. Now he was habitual of her. He wanted to see her every now and then..
One day he returned home and didnt find Sanyukta anywhere "ye Sanyukta kaha gyi? Aaj college bhi nhi aayi mere saath.. Aise to roz iski wajah se log muje pagal samjhte hai.. Gayi kaha ye?" he searched her in the whole house but she wasn’t there.. Finally he sat tired in his room and dozed off.. He got up after sometime but there wasn’t any trace of her.. He thought "pata nhi kaha gayi? Aa hi jaaegi.. Bhoot to hai.. Usko kya hoga.. Aaegi to khabar lunga uski" he didn’t pay heed to her absence.. That day passed and next day passed and next and next.. It was whole 1 week he hadn’t seen her.. "kaha chali gyi ho tum S? Kahi tum mujhe hamesha k liye chhod ke to nhi chali gyi?? I know ki aisa kabhi na kabhi to hota par mujhse ek baar to milkar jaati.. Tum meri aadat ban chuki thi.. Tumhare bina mera ek sec nhi kat ta.. Please Sanyukta ek baar aa jaao.. Please wapas aa jaao Sanyukta please. I can’t live without you because I LOVE YOU.." tears continuously flowing from his eyes.. Just then she appeared and placed her hand below his eyes to catch those sparkling tears.. He saw her hand and raised his head.. "Sanyukta tum?" he said and hugged her tightly like a baby.. "kaha chali gayi thi tum? Pata hai maine tumhe kitna miss kiya?? Koi aisa krta hai kya?" he complained like a kid and she caressed his back and said "I love you too Randhir.. Aur mai kahi nahi gayi thi yahi thi.. Bas tumhare saamne nahi aa rahi thi qki mai tumse hamare pyaar ka izhaar krwana chahti thi.. I knew you love me par tum bolte nahi isliye maine tumse door hone ka natak kiya.. Lekin ab mai aaraam se jaa sakti hu you know why because I know ki ab tum bhi mujhse pyar krte ho.."
Both stood up and he held her hands "nhi Sanyukta please mat jaao na.. I love you yaar.."
S: jaana to mai bhi nhi chahti par mai is duniya ka hissa nhi hu Randhir.. Pata nhi q kismat ne hamare saath aisa khel khela ki hume door kar diya.. Kitni ajeeb baat hai na hum dono ek dusre ko chahte hai fir bhi hum saath nhi reh skte.. Mere jaane k baad apni life me aage zaroor badhna randhir.. Mai tumhe hamesha dekhti rahugi and I can’t see you said anytime.. I love you Randhir and i will always love you..
Both were in tears. She kissed him for the last time and moved away from him.. He was holding her hand. She was going away loosening the grip and soon she vanished.. He was left alone there.. Randhir was looking at the place where she vanished and said "kaash maine usi din haa bol diya hota to aaj tum mere saath hoti.. Aaj tumse pyaar krke bhi tum mere saath nhi ho.. Tumhari ADHURI KHWAAISH ki wajah se mujh jaise idiot ko bhi pyar ho gya.. Aur mai tumhari har khwaaish ab puri kruga.. I will move on Sanyukta only for you.. Because I love u.." Sanyukta was looking at him from the clouds far away and she smiled with happy tears in her eyes..
Authors note: Some people are not meant to be together.. And every story don’t have a happy ending..
