I see a little boy
With roaring laughter
And life full of joy.
He's the leader of his
School's baseball team,
His favorite reward is a
Bar of chocolate with whipped cream
I see a young man
With a heart that cries
And a stare so blank.
Uzi in the hands that
Held the baseball bat,
Living in the trenches with
Exploding bombs and screeches of rats.
I see a little girl
With a smile so soothing
And eyes like pearl.
She is the smartest in
The whole of second grade,
Her spirit full of ambitions
That no one dares degrade.
I see a young woman
With a maddening soul
And a stare so blank.
Seeing blood with the eyes
That once saw big dreams,
None to show any softness
As she gulps back her screams.
This is the war my love,
No hero no villain
You step in the battlefield
You accept the pain.
You pledge to die and
You pledge to kill,
And never to see your mother again
Unless fate has the will.
OKAY am being honest.. it didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to be but hey.. we all r still working on ourselves and our arts lol.. hope u enjoyed it. CYA NEXT TIME (∂ω∂)
