Once;
You were the sun I worshipped,
The blinding light I orbited the dawn and dusk,
But the ray you emitted wasn't mine alone to claim for,
Undignified I am for coveting a light belonging to none.
Thus;
The land once fertile dropped its crown to the ground,
As the gravity shackled my body no longer,
As the atmosphere layered with foggy coldness,
As my body went against the will of the heavens,
Leaving your lights,
I turned a blind eye to my slow destruction,
It was a sweet destruction.
