Runs !!
Run for your life.
That's the sentence that Nasha often hears in horror films. But now he wasn't watching a horror movie. He was in horror itself.
Nasha's breath caught, reddening the silence of the night. The long-haired girl looked left and right, trying to maximize her blurred vision covered in a mixture of sweat and tears. He could see nothing but trees.
Nasha paused for a moment trying to catch her almost out of breath. The night seemed very hostile. The clouds covering the moon made his vision blurry. Nasha clutched her chest which was aching from her fast beating heart.
Suddenly a ray of light lit up the forest for a split second, followed by a loud roar that made Nasha scream. It wasn't the loud roar that scared him, but what he saw in that short time, a man who had been chasing him for half an hour.
Nasha continued her run back frantically, regardless of which direction she was headed. His face was pale as if there was no blood flowing, while his breath was panting.
Accidentally, he tripped over a tree root sticking out, and fell on the damp ground. Nasha tried to get up when her eyes caught something.
The corners of Nasha's lips lifted weakly, realizing that she had a chance to save herself. With his remaining strength, he forced himself to get up and run as fast as he could.
As Nasha felt a sliver of hope, she felt something from behind her. Terrified, Nasha turned around, and found something at high speed moving towards her, making her fall, plunged into the abyss.
Nasha groaned in pain, a grievous pain coming from her broken shin and ribs. In the midst of his groans, he suddenly heard a voice from behind him. Nasha tried to get up, but she couldn't move at all. He looked up at the dark night sky, as if aware that it was the last sight he would see.
In the silence of the night, Nasha's body seemed to be dragged into the dark forest.
