I have a friend of mine that came in a messy family. She would always smile though, even if her situation is hard. I would always ask her why she always smile. She answered me "Smiling helps me forget my problems and go on with life". " What nonsense how could an expression help you?" I responded. She ended the chat with a smile, and we waved each other goodbye. When i came home my parents asked me how was my day. I told them that my day was good and went to my room. Then a sudden thought came to my mind "Does her parents ask her how's her day?". I taught of it for a while and came on my phone and called her. In the call:
Friend: Hello!
Me: hii
Friend: Whats up?
Me: I wanna ask something
Friend: Sure! go ahead
Me: Does your parents ask you how's your day?
Friend: No, they don't
Me: Why?
Friend: I don't really ask them why
Me: You should ask them!
Friend: *screaming background* i gotta go bye!
And the call ended. It was a really short call. But what was that scream? is someone in her family hurt? i should go to her house tomorrow. I woke up with my parents saying ''Time for breakfast". I ate and left. When i came to her house the door was opened. Somebody must have snuck in! I came inside with a piece of wood i found outside. Then i saw her.. My friend lying lifeless. I hurriedly called the police and told me she was dead. But her parents were no where to be seen. They must have fled after killing her. A few days later we found out that her parents fled in Hong Kong. We are still searching for them. Then i woke up thank god it was just all a dream! i called her but she didn't pick up. I went to her house and found her dead just like in my dream. I can't believe it.. How?...
